It was remarkable talking with and to her because not only did she keep up the conversation, she was also listening to what I was saying. A very rare skill to possess in this day and age. I indeed felt pampered during the time I was there. The inside look and appeal was very warming and welcome and I like to be comfortable. She is a master in the art of hair with a side of expertise in humor. It's about 30 minutes away from the previous location, but my friends have been going to Ali for years! Ali does an amazing job and works very efficiently/fast. He doesn't need much instruction but just knows what looks best on each person! Not only does he complete his cuts very quickly, he also styles men's hair very well! He also shapes and styles beards fantastically!! We will continue to come back for Ali and his exceptional service! We like to call in to make an appointment with him though since he usually does have a wait time without an appointment. Since this is a pretty new location, the ambiance is great and very modern/clean! The only thing I wouldn't recommend getting here is the eyebrow threading. If Ali does the threading then it should be fine, but if the receptionist does the eyebrows, she apparently can only tweeze, not thread or wax. They still charged $10 for tweezing eyebrows, which was extremely painful and they cut the skin several times ti the point where the skin bled. When we asked about this, they said that's normal to bleed from tweezing. Normally, when we thread or wax or even tweeze, no one bleeds near their eyebrows. Overall, highly recommend Ali for everything, but would NOT recommend doing eyebrows with anyone besides Ali. I would give 1 star to the lady who tweezed, but leaving this as a 5 star review, just because Ali always does so great.

Not only was it painful, but the barber didn't acknowledge the damage or offer any apology -- just moved on as if nothing happened. Sadly, the quality and care have been steadily declining over time, and this last experience sealed the decision for me to take my business elsewhere. They gave me a nice taper fade, a neck shave with hot shaving cream and single blade, hot towel and tonic, so you feel pampered. Currently, it's about $35 for a short cut. That seems to be the going rate around town so nothing to complain about. Gone are the days of getting a weekly haircut! I love seeing the Bellaire Triangle have a revival.

I see Josh for my haircuts, and he's meticulous; he genuinely cares about his work and always makes sure I walk out with exactly the cut I want. His results are so consistently good that, even as a student at Texas A&M, I happily make the 1 1/2 hour drive just so Josh can cut my hair, because I know nowhere else will give me the same level of attention. I cannot recommend this barbershop enough, especially Josh!
