Professional detailing was not thorough and vehicle was definitely cleaned but mats still dirty; center console still dirty and dash was dirty. Back windows had streaks on it as well. When I called to see when the vehicle would be ready and was told it was almost done. So went to pick up the vehicle and had to wait an hour for it. Fool me twice, shame on me. Four years ago I went in to get the annual respray on my undercarriage and they upsold me to the clear coating. 11 hours later at 9 p.m. I finally got my car back. I paid it off, cut up the Zeibart card and vowed never to return. A decision reinforced when my insurance would not cover the cost to have it reapplied after bodywork from an accident that was not my fault. One selling point was it would be covered by insurance. When I bought my new truck I had Ziebart paint protection applied. At the 1 year check up I went with the ceramic treatment. Never again. The difference was non existent. The ceramic treatment seems like a waste. I might add. I have friends that either did their own or had it done other places. Big difference. When their vehicles get wet the water runs off in sheets. Absolutely love the Platinum Package with Ceramic Z-Gloss add-on. I also opted to invest in the Z-Shield paint protection film for the full bumper, full hood and mirrors too. It helps the bugs come off easily in the summer and also has protected me (myriad times) from those pesky road salt dings. No dings = no rust formation! Highly recommend their services, especially when purchasing a new vehicle. I purchased a car that included fabric protection, exterior protection through ziebart. This includes the need for a yearly inspection/ refresh. A reminder was sent to me a few months ago. Scheduling required a phone call (would prefer an automated online option). I brought the car in and agreed to add a ceramic coating (an up sell) which also got me an interior detail (sorely needed, lots of pet hair etc). After some haggling, a deal was agreed to. During the day, I got a call where additional upselling was attempted (to add more layers of ceramic coating). This was annoying because I had already set my limit and made that clear. For the positive, the lobby area has some nice chairs if you have to wait there. Upon picking up the car, the interior was spotless and pet hair free. The exterior is shiny and looks great. Would have been 4-5 stars without the attempt at an extra upsell. I'll return due to the warranty service. If you do the same, just prepare yourself. read more

I have had multiple issues with Ziebart in the past but I have officially become frustrated enough to finally write a review. I recently went to go and get an interior detailing done at Ziebart. I specifically explained that I was in to get a stain cleaned from a spilled to-go container. When I got my car I found that not only was the spilled soup still completely there in its entirety, but there was still napkins from where I had attempted to clean as much as I could on my own. After calling to get to a manager I was out on hold for 20 minutes and hung up, resigned to call back later. I was able to get through to a manager a few hours later and was asked to return to the location for the manager to take a look. The pictures don't even do the mess justice. I still see many other areas that are dirty and I cannot seem to understand what I paid $160 to have done. read more

I took my car in to have the interior detailed this past Saturday. Everyone was polite and friendly enough. I mentioned that I hadn't had my car detailed in some time and that I have a young child so the carpets and back seat could use a bit of attention. They did a decent job getting the dried salt out of the floor in the front and the high visibility areas on the floor are fine. The problem is that almost every crevasse still has crumbs and dust. Around the vents, the doors, the gear shift. There are very visible coffee slashes and drips near the cup holders in the front. There are still smears of food in the back that I can literally wipe off with a wet rag. Aside from the crumbs being removed from the backseat, that area barely looks touched. I was told if I emptied my glove box and center storage area and left them open they would be cleaned. Neither of those areas were touched. It looks like someone took a damp rag and just casually wiped the visible areas of the car and didn't do any actual detailing. I was running late when I came to pick up my vehicle and I didn't have time to look it over well at all. I've honestly done a better job on my own without a steamer or air compressor. Their entire operation is a scam. Last year when they applied their initial rust proof on my truck, they drove my truck an exorbitant amount of miles and denied it. This year, they were horrible to schedule with and couldn't even say how long the annual inspection and reapplication would take. A minimum of 3 hours if you wait for it in person. Makes no sense. I blame the dealer, or Cortese Chrysler Jeep Dodge for even offering this garbage. I blame myself for wasting monies on something I'll never use, as I'll never go back. Better off taking "your chances" without it so you don't have to have these animals carelessly touching your vehicle. If you want to apply an undercarriage coating, choose car well products. I have a 2011 jeep patriot that I have been taking to Ziebart yearly for the protection undercoating, and also spent good money on the clear wrapping that was supposed to prevent rusting of the body. Well I have rusting along my back wheel wells, which they did fix once and now the rust is coming back worse, and they quoted $5000 to repair. The undercoating which was supposed to protect my car has rotted the underneath and has also caused my frame to crack. According to my licensed, trustworthy, and very competent mechanic he informed me that this happened due to the undercoating being applied while the underneath was either wet or damp when applied which sealed in moisture that caused it to rust out. I now have a jeep with low mileage and a cracked frame which is now deemed unsafe to drive. Now I am screwed and left needing to find a car that will be safe to drive. Can't even report them to the BBB as they are not registered with them. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! read more

At drop of, when I declined all of thier shiesty upselling packages (which took 25 minutes)I was told there wasnt any time to do the remote start, just the undercarriage. I had my firebird wrapped last year and it was the biggest mistake to have Ziebart do the job. I had issues where the clear coat was starting to bubble especially on the hood. I was assured that they could sand that down and then wrap. The wrap on the hood looked rough as well as the wrap on the rest of the car was shoddy with ragged edges and incomplete sections like they did not bother to raise the drop down headlights to do the inner part of the light alcove. They asked to have the car back to clean up the edges and redo the hood. The edges came out ok but the hood was no better. I was offered another trip back in to the shop to have the hood painted. All this started in spring and I finally got my car back in November. So I did not have use of my car for most of the year. I finally got in on a rainy day in November and could not really check the car out before storing the car for winter. When I got it out of storage the next spring I noticed the paint job - there was a paint drop on the fender. I complained again and they claimed that the drop was there before they started which it was not. The rep I worked with offered to take it to management and would let me know. They took a month to get back to me. Bur by now I was fed up and decided it was no longer worth the grief to deal with them anymore. Bottom line, look elsewhere if you want a car wrapped. Very disappointed. Hadxappoibtment for annual undercoating st 9 am. I normally make the appointment and wait the 2-2and a half hours and be on my way. Today it was 4 hours. After 3 hours when I inquired, said they were running a little behind And it would've put in no a half hr. Just had to wash it. Half hour later and it wasn't ready. The guy said they could skip washing and get it right out. I said ok. Well another half hour went by- 4 hours waiting and it was done. All washed. Unbelievable. i said you open at 8. My 2024 car has a paint protection coating and Ziebart rust protection. Now at Ziebart for 12 month reapply. Salespeople trying to sell me a paint protection process, even though the car already has one applied when purchased . Hard sell these guys . Appointment was 9:00. It's after 10 and car hasn't been touched or moved. It's now 2 hours. Customer service says it's not a 2 hour wait( what I was told when I got here) but a 3-5 hour process. I would not have waited if I knew it would be that long. I asked for my keys and suddenly my car is taken back to have the service done. There's no charge for reapplying Ziebart annually. I'll find a better location next year. Result: car is ready. 7 minutes is all it took? What did they do in 7 minutes? Customer service tells me to be prepared to wait 3-5 hours next time. I was at the Union RD West Seneca location recently for the yearly check up on the undercoating/rust proofing on my Ford Transit Connect. I have had no problems with the products so far however the customer service leaves something thing to be desired. When I returned to pick up my vehicle I was told it was "out back". It was parked towards the back of the back lot, so I had to search it out myself, (I'm 72 years old). A reputable shop would have had it out front waiting for me. Had the under coating done on my truck along with the "paint protector" in 2018. Firstly, over splash onto the wiper area left the black finish discolored, no one from Ziebart could do anything about it. (Money scheme, I don't recommend it). Secondly, the yearly "touch ups" are followed by aggressive sales pitches for over priced ceramic paint protectors or other nonsense. Fast forward 4 years of disappointmenT from these guys, another yearly touch up of the under coat, traveling from Saratoga to Albany to get this done! finally make it home and check, multiple spots not "touched up". I give them a call and mention drive time etc and the reply is "What do you want us to do" "when you're back in the area swing by". How about quality control... Took my truck which was in excellent condition and everything worked, to henrietta to get undercoated as the previous owner had already done it..this is the only reason i went to ziebart. When i picked up the truck the back up camera was no longer working. 6 months later had to have it resprayed as the undercoating was coming off. Took it in again for its yearly maintenance and was talked into the ceramic coating, engine clean, rust eliminator, fender flarers and this tape stuff that went on bottom of doors and tailgate to prevent rusting. Truck was in working condition other than the back up camera. When i picked up truck i told the girl who i was and that i was picking up my chevy Silverado. She then says your here for a Mercedes. i said no chevy silverado. Took forever for them to bring it to the side of the building and when i went out to check it over....it was in worse condition than when i dropped it off!! There were chips and scratches all over the truck. There were bubbles in the paint and the check engine light came on. Said oil pressure low turn off engine. I was stuck in henrietta with 2 small children. They said nothing they did would cause the check engine light to come on. When i got truck scanned it was the oil pressure sensor switch. When i spoke to the manager the next day, he admit that due to the location of the sensor they could have gotten something in it. Never offered to pay for the sensor. They agreed to do a paint correction and that was done poorly as there were still scratches and chips in the paint. There were also paint bubbles in the middle of the door from the buffing...they denied the bubbles were caused by the buffing. I also spoke to a lady that said her family owns ziebart and would call me back in an hour....i still have yet to receive that call back. Took truck to the Batavia location hoping for better results and service this year and again very poor work was done. More chips and scratches. You can even see the scratches from the buffing. When my husband spoke to Steve at the batavia location he admitted that henrietta never did the rust eliminator on the wheel wells and doors before putting the tape stuff and fender flares on. Steve also told my husband that they were in a hurry to get to another job. They had my truck for 3 hours...henriette would have it all day. The tape and fender flares at this point have only been on for 6 months and rust is already showing. I filed a bbb complaint and got the response that the truck was "hammered" when it was first brought in and work was done correctly, completely and up to their company standards. This is my opinion on Ziebart....Your company rips off hard working people. You take thousands of dollars from people and turn out really SH*T work. Your company standards are set pretty low. If i would have know that this is the headache i would have had to deal with i would have never...NEVER gone to ziebart. If i could give zero stars i would. read more

There's a new owner kickin a## n takin names. They contacted me to improve prior customer relations. I revisited Ziebart for another detail job. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and welcoming. I observed this with every customer, they offered coffee to go, a ride, and checked in with customer comfort level. Everyone seemed to be taken care of in a timely manner. The waiting area has very comfortable seating and a large t.v., another smaller sitting area with tables is quieter, they have complimentary wifi. Vinnie took care of checking me in and looking over my car; which I had unfortunately grimed up real good for them. It's the end of winter, I've had a few pets in there, a bunch of snowboards, muddy hiking boots etc. In my consultation I was able to get questions answered about heated seats and radio installation. He came to get me part way through to show me the progress, quite a difference, got to admit I'm excited about a spiffed up car. Thanks Ziebart! After writing this e-mail to Ziebart customer service I was contacted by the Ziebart Henrietta branch manager Craig, He (Craig) listened to all of my issues from my initial visit and stated he wanted to have the opportunity to correct the problems . I was leery of wanting to return to the Henrietta branch due to the previous experience . Craig stated he still had the running boards and wanted to install them at his costs due to the issues . I agreed and scheduled the appointment , Craig said he would personally oversee the job getting the running board installed . From that point on everything went flawless . Craig did exactly what he said he would do. He and his team communicated as he said they would do throughout setting up the appointment, getting me a loaner vehicle while my truck was in the shop and contacting me as soon as they completed the job so I could pick up my vehicle . In my opinion he went above and beyond to solve the problems . I would not hesitate to deal with Craig at the Henrietta branch again . He turned a sour experience into a pleasant one. I bought a truck from a dealership in May. They told me that the rust protection was included on the sale. They told me that Ziebart was gonna call me to get it done. They never did. I have been to the dealership in numerous times and they haven't gotten this fixed. About a month after I bought the truck the dealership was sold to wess herr and basically has been the same thing. My wife bought a groupon for detailing. I took my 2016 Camry in for their "complete" interior detailing and exterior cleaning. When I picked up my car it was clear they hadn't done the greatest of jobs. The windows still had spots that weren't cleaned. When I got home I checked the trunk not only was it not cleaned the exterior was filthy! I was thoroughly disappointed that after just having my car detailed by professionals I had to clean my car! I had the same service done on my 2015 Camry at Delta Sonic. At Delta I added a hand wax. For $30 more they shampooed the entire interior, completely detailed the car inside and out and gave me a spotlessly clean vehicle. At Delta it took 90-120 minutes. The inferior a.k.a.
