The second you walk in, it feels warm, cozy, and inviting. It's become my go-to spot to read, work, meet friends, or just exist with a really good London Fog. At this point, it's less of a coffee shop and more of a sanctuary. Even my service animal, Mr. Boo, gets excited when we pull up. The drinks are consistently amazing, and the staff somehow manages to make everyone feel like a regular. Now let's talk about the chocolate muffin. I'm not a muffin person. Never have been. Yet somehow this muffin has me questioning my entire identity. How do they make the top perfectly crunchy while the inside stays so fluffy? I don't know. I don't need answers. I just need another muffin. And the cinnamon rolls? They're the size of a small planet and every bit as life-changing. If loving them is wrong, I don't want to be right. I'll happily sing the praises of Java Stop until my dying breath. This place has carved out a genuinely special spot in my heart, and I couldn't be more grateful it's part of my community.

There are cute couches and lounge chairs, but also tables for groups and tables to work solo, there's even a a few areas with high tables if you wanna stand and work. (That sounds a little weird as I write it, but imagine to sit stand where people are standing at their desks) They offer all manner of pastries, ginger shots, smoothies, and shakes as well as yummy eats. It's clean, the Wi-Fi works great, the drinks are fantastic and the pricing is spot on. My two favorite parts would be the fact that they have a little kids area with a play kitchen, toys, books, things to keep your little one entertained while you have a cup. My four-year-old would love it. Their bathrooms are clean and have changing tables. Because it is so close to Longmont high school, I do worry a little bit that during the school year, it might be a little busy. But at the time that I'm writing this, school has recently gotten out, so there was ample places to sit. I do highly recommend this place and I will go back.

(I should also note that I have a mild allergy to an ingredient that's often in cheap chocolate. I had no reaction to this pastry, so I'm making the assumption that the chocolate they use is of a nice quality!) It's carby heaven, whether you eat in (inside shared tables or outside picnic-style) or take everything home... and in that case I dare you not to tear into something on your drive. Don't try to come on Mon/Tues as they are closed then, and watch out for the peloton of cyclists on weekend mornings! I understand things happen but the staff was visible inside and they clearly noticed we were trying to enter and figure out what was going on but didn't show any hospitality with "I'm sorry folks." Just looked at us. A Sign on door or brief encounter would have been nice. Several others after us seemed mystified too. I was so excited to try it out because I've been looking for a cozy friendly coffee house here in my new neighborhood and haven't found it yet.
