Recommended by my sister-in-law who lives nearby as a place to meet up for a bite and drink while in town from CA. We weren't hungry for a full meal but the SIL highly recommended the meatball sub. So what did the owner let us do? Get a tray of meatballs and some garlic Dutch crunch bread to share among the 4 of us. It was the perfect bite and everything was so, SO good! So the sandwich I have now ordered 2x is ahhhhmazing. Soft but hearty bread, quality meats and cheeses, and fresh veg. I want to try more of their offerings for sure (but loved what I got the first time so haven't yet ventured). The service is fine - they're busy and it's a 'deli' so don't go expecting a ton. The garlic cheese curds are bomb...but a steep upcharge for a side. I couldn't finish my sandwich and curds by myself and at almost $30 with a tip included, it's a hit to the pocket. It's a cute space but small - I could see them expanding to a larger space for sure and being successful. Nonetheless, I will return. Oh and their cocktails are superb! read more

Pelo's has THE muffuletta I've been searching for all over Colorado. It's better than any I've had, including the OG muffuletta from Central Grocery and Deli in New Orleans. Note that it's served on a baguette instead of an Italian bread - I was skeptical at first but it works. Really well. The fries are A+, though I'll say the salad (pears, walnuts, balsamic) is pretty great as a side too. I've been to this place 5+ times now and it never disappoints. read more

If you haven't been here you're missing one of the BEST places for a great meal. Staff is very friendly and courteous. I've had the Chicago Beef sandwich twice and rave about it. It's not easy to do a proper Chicago beef sandwich. You have to properly slow roast the cuts you choose. And I'm very upset.... That it took us this long to get a proper sandwich shop in Longmont! Our first time here and our only regret is that we waited this long to find this place! Everything was fabulous! I had the hot pastrami sandwich. Excellent ambience, the service is friendly and warm, food is very tasty, and the cocktails are on point. So far we have tried the Chicago Beef, St Paul, and the Reuben hot sandwiches. Excellent deli food that is kinda elevated. Every cocktail I've gotten from here is well balanced. I can tell from listening to the bartender shake drinks that the ice equilibrium ratio is being properly respected and as such you get a nicely aerated shaken drink that is very cold and not over diluted. read more

Great new place in downtown Longmont! Vibe is just cool, the space is fun. Cocktails were really nice and for the price ($10) fantastic - we had the Bee's Knees, an Old Fashioned, and a Margarita. For food we had a pastrami sandwich with fries and an egg salad sandwich with the house salad. They were both just excellent - good flavor, fresh, so tasty. Sides are so big! Food and drinks were served in less than 10 minutes. We both ordered the Chicken in a Waffle. It was phenomenal. Despite being comfort food, the presentation was pleasing and the flavors (like the spicy jam) added complexity. The cocktails were also well presented and interesting. We enjoyed the outdoor seating. Tables and chairs were clean and sturdy. We enjoyed people-watching.

I had the Breck Burger today with cream cheese, bacon, and bacon jam, among other toppings with a savory sweetness that didn't overpower the grass fed double patty, cause the bun to disintegrate, or spill more cream cheese or my shirt than I ate (that's on me, not 99). I was there after the lunch crowd and enjoyed chatting with the kind folks behind the bar while watching the atmospheres network: I love watching alpine skiing.

For some reason it was topped with whipped cream, and I could hardly taste the chai flavor. I liked the ambiance. It had nice decorating touches throughout both rooms. Our server came by frequently to check on us. There's free parking in a parking lot in front of the restaurant. I will come back and perhaps order coffee next time.
