What can I say? Its a no-frills laundromat in Sherwood, alright. Not exactly the most convenient in…read moreterms of having the ability to be seated without someone dumping their wet/dry clothes all over the tables that are situated in the middle of the venue, but the place gets the job done. In addition, there are no card options (or even wash cards where you buy credit)- its all about the quarters here. So be prepared to bring cash to change into quarters, of which there are two change machines readily available. I had to learn the hard way, especially when my hotel up the street (Hampton Inn) didn't have either washer & dryer options nor quarters at the time. Quite a bit of available top loader washers & regular dryers here- at least two dozen in total. The dry cycles run on 7 minute increments per $0.25, and have variable heat adjustments. The washers are basic agitator systems w/o the new upgraded versions that do deep cleans. They are about $1.25 for a 30-minute cycle. The upside to this Wash Tub laundromat is that there are machines that accommodate large comforters and other duvet sizes. Saw it with my own eyes with couples doing their family's bed sheets + comforters. Again, the downside is perhaps the seating area. I moved a foldup chair to the corner next to the bathroom to do work on my laptop, only to hear someone blow out their bubble guts on the toilet due to diarrhea. Not exactly the best sound to hear, but whatever- that's what ear plugs are for! That, and you can easily sit in your car & wait without too much disruption from others. I will say that Washtub has good Wifi, and that there are outlets available by the change machines to charge your phone & other electronic devices. There is a Subway 60 feet to the left, as well as a Pub. Across the parking lot is a Taco Bell. Certainly a few food options to choose from when waiting. Yet I seriously doubt that they'll change your dollar bills into quarters. If you are plastic heavy, walk up the street 100 meters to the Wells Fargo ATM, get $20, and get that bill changed for quarters here.

The facility was clean and the machines I used worked perfectly as I would expect. I did use the restroom and its small. ( Nothing special) However no complaints on cleanliness. Decent place to come do laundry.

My radon system fan seized up so I contacted Environmental Works to take a look at it. They…read morepromptly scheduled a visit to inspect and repair the system. The tech who arrived on time noted that the system was probably still under warranty (I'm a new owner of the house and it was installed by the previous owner). He encouraged me to contact the installer and they are replacing it for me under warranty. I really appreciate the honesty and customer service from Sol. Will definitely contact them for any future issues.

These people are grifters. My real estate agent recommended them to decommission the cesspit that…read morewas found in my yard by the sewer inspection. They sent a bid for $5100. Painful, but they buyer wants it done before closing. Then I was told that I had to pay $250 for them to come out and locate it, even though it had already been located. This is in addition to the estimate. So they send this 20-something kid out. He spends all of 15 minutes on my property, most of which is locating the oil tank that we explicitly told him had already been decommissioned. He told me he saw no reason that the workers would have to damage my patio, which I paid $12000 to have professionally installed. Project day arrives. They send super young dudes out to my house with a digger. I doubt they were old enough to buy beer. I asked how they protect the ground from the machine. They must have misunderstood because they told me they put down plywood. Nope. They drove it through my neighbor's yard and my yard after heavy rains leaving deep tracks, then they dug a foot into my patio. When they uncovered the cesspit it was already 3/4 full. So here's me thinking surely my bill will be lower, right? There was a quote for materials and labor. Less materials were needed to fill the hole. Less labor. Nope. Bill arrives for $5100. They also say they will put down grass seed, and that never happened either. So they tore up my yard and my neighbor's yard, damaged my patio, even managed to break one of the pavers, and didn't even put grass seed down. Avoid this company. Greedy, unprofessional, sent unsupervised kids to do the work, don't do what they say they will do, and they do not care how they treat your property.

This company came out and tested the flooring and confirmed there was asbestos. My communications…read morewith them up until this point seemed very professional and straightforward, and I was in a panic when I discovered the asbestos issue, so I told them to go forward with abatement. I researched online and learned that abatement of mastic on hardwood floors can be done by scraping or sanding or other methods, and the guy who refinished my hardwood floors a couple years ago got it off of the floor and refinished the wood without issue, so I assumed this would be the case. When I came home, I was horrified when I realized they had cut out all of the hardwood boards out of my kitchen and removed them, instead of scraping and sanding the hardwoods. I'm now out $1800 AND I literally don't have a floor anymore. When I spoke to them over the phone, I was assured that removing the boards was the ONLY way to address the issue, which is simply untrue. I feel like an idiot for not researching other abatement companies, as it was a decision I made in panic. It's too late now, but now I'm researching and finding all of these other companies that offer abatement in Portland for hardwood flooring where the mastic can be removed. When I saw photos of other local companies work post-removal, I felt even more like an idiot. There was no need for me to lose my floors entirely in this process. This has been a nightmare. I was told this company specializes in abatement, but it seems they specialize in demolition, and ensure abatement in the process of said demolition. Unless you're looking to tear out a wall or a floor or cabinetry entirely, I would not recommend.

My entire home including closets and exposed ductwork in the basement had asbestos and they were able to complete the work in 4 days total and worked around my family's needs so that we could be home when we needed to be. The ceilings look so good, even my texture guy is impressed!
