The day before the cleaning that was NOT scheduled, Andrew MacIntosh informed me that "my" appointment had been given to somebody else. I eventually found another highly respected company to do this work at a much lower cost. Andrew texted me to request that I write a review of his company ... so here it is!

We contacted them. They turned it over to their insurance through yelp. You guessed it, their insurance didn't find liability for their client... who would have ever thought. Urban sent them a video and claimed it was after the cleaning. You can hear a kid talking in the background. Last time I checked, not professional to bring kids to clients house without asking ahead of time. So $1400 later, we had to replace the window and they told us that they were closing the file without further discussion. Hire them at your own risk, I warned you. There are a lot of cleaning companies, I would call a couple more to interview and let this one go to the non helper who doesn't do their research!

He came in with his steam cleaning machine for the tile flooring in the bathrooms and he used great cleaning products on our hard wood flooring, material window blinds and windows. He spent an entire day and then came back another day to complete the long list of items I had requested that he do. I'm pretty good at keeping up with the dishes and the kids help pick up toys and random stuff, but there is SO much that gets put off because it's not essential. This is where Alida's crew came in to save the day. One person spent three hours working on my two bathrooms. He cleaned them from top to bottom, not missing one detail- including vacuuming my cotton curtain that was covered in dust, cleaning around and under the toilet, on top of cabinetry, and all those pesky corners of the shower. He even cleaned the vent! Not to mention that the toilet, sink, and shower looked fabulous. The other bathroom was equally, awesomely cleaned. The other person went through each room brushing off ceiling cobwebs, wiping walls, and dusting all surfaces with microfiber cloths. She then worked her way through the hallway, getting all closet doors and frames done. I saw a vast improvement (don't ever paint your doors and trims white, because you see EVERYTHING). It was obvious that she had not forgotten one space. They ended up in the kitchen working on the cabinet doors for their final minutes. I wasn't sure what to expect since I've never had house cleaners over before, but they did a great job. All of my kids were in the house, since it's summer, and the cleaning people didn't seem to mind. They used some kind of light, vinegary cleaner and microfiber cloths on everything. I'm sure they used a lot! The only thing I was slightly disappointed about was that the bathtub still had some black moldy stuff around the edges. I suspect this was because the cleaner was so gentle. I enjoyed having the cleaners over. I felt like they were able to do what I would like to do, if I had the time! I would recommend them! They followed my priority list of things to do exactly, hitting the areas that I needed the most first. They were awesome!
