I could have handled the ticket without him or the $150 I felt that he robbed from me. I am not an attorney and dont make the six figures im sure he makes. I am sending him a letter including my cost breakdown and let him know how upset I am with him. I feel like he did NOTHING for me and took my money at the same time. The lady was extremely rude and did not care to offer any support or advice whatsoever. I mean seriously, no matter if I have been a client of theirs for 10+ years or not, this is simple customer service 101 and this lady has no place dealing with clients! This is, after all, their area of expertise and not ours. We have paid our dues and need advice not an earful by some unprofessional, ungrateful employee who forgets who pays the firm and how they get their money!!!!!!!!!!

Initially, I had a different attorney that was recommended to me by a family member. So I started this process blindly with my first choice but after nine months of no progress on my case, I started to look elsewhere. Google comes into the picture, because I ran a google search on the DWI program that my first attorney was hesitant to tell me about and Eric's was in the top 3 in my google search but I really liked his informative website. That was more information on one click that my other attorney never fully explained to me. Then, I called to make an appointment with Mr. Benavides and with a quick five minute phone conversation, I had more information on how to move forward since this whole thing started. At the end of our phone call, I told him I would think about changing over to him but the truth is I pretty much knew right away that this was the best choice for me and my case, I just had to work out how to make the change.
