Joeseph and team from Zion Communications gets a big double thumbs up from me. They exceeded my expectations. In my review below I will first outline the job, provide you with detailed feedback on the following categories: Knowledge, Craftsmanship/Installation, Timeliness, Communication and Price, and finally offer my conclusion on working with them. We have a property group, and were looking to install 16 cameras in an apartment building. We chose and bought the product prior to Zion. This is a very important thing to note. We decided to go with high end yet very reasonably priced HikVision product after in depth conversation with a very reputable security company. We went with a mix of their turrets and domes. While we got a phenomenal price on the products sourcing ourselves, Zion would have easily matched the price and passed along the savings, which they did with the purchasing of all the other necessary equipment / accessories (i.e. Cat5e, conduit, etc.) I think it's important to note that we picked good product to install, which completely adds to the outcome of the project. After receiving multiple bids, we decided to go with Zion Communications. Knowledge of the product: A+ Joeseph / Zion team members knowledge of the cameras added incredible amount of value to our plans on what areas we wanted to cover. They were able to have the in depth technical understanding to advise on positioning to get the most coverage and clarity of our video goals. Craftsmanship/Installation: A The install was extremely clean. The layout looks great and professional, along with added security to tampering. They installed the cameras the way you would expect. After finishing the install, they stayed on board dealing with Tech support as needed to make sure everything is running smooth. I now have easy access to cameras 24 hours without any issue whatsoever. The only negative point is that we did do a bit of drilling into an area that I would have rather avoided at first. Other than that, the job was incredibly clean without any damage to the property. We could not be happier with the results. Timeliness: A+ We expected to go about two weeks, they did the job in 8 days. Showed up everyday early, on time and ready to work. No delays, no excuses. Simply as professional as it gets. Communication: A- I had some technical difficulty with service on my phone, so more often than not our calls would not connect. However, Joeseph was always available to get on the line and address any concerns or questions. He's a fast responder when it comes to texting. There were only a couple of delays here and there, but that's completely reasonable. All and all, I felt like he communicated very well with us and managed expectations directly with honesty. Could not ask for more here. Price: A Of all my bids, they came in somewhere in the middle. You get what you pay for, and we feel like we got a very solid deal with them. We went over a little on material, but that was discussed at the outset. They didn't leave us with any surprises. I think the price they gave us was more than fair. Conclusion: It should come as no surprise that I'm giving Zion Communications an A+ 5 star recommendation. These guys might be a bit young in their career, but are by NO means inexperienced. In fact, I think they added some very strong high-tech knowledge when it came to the latest in the mobile app portion of our system. AS LONG AS YOU USE QUALITY EQUIPMENT, you should end up with solid results on your camera install with Zion. If you choose poorly and have them install crappy stuff, then you may end up with a sub par system which you can't hold them accountable. If you're a commercial property group like us or a GC or just a residential owner, you'll be happy you went with Joeseph and his team! This is a real review, by a real customer. I had wonderful experience with Joseph and David. I wanted to have security cameras installed around my house (as both a deterrent and an additional security barrier). I got quotes from four different companies and Zion Communications won my business. Joseph provided original estimate via email and subsequently come over to survey the property and determine the best installation locations. On the day of installation Joseph and David worked for most of the day running the wires (including the attic), installing and configuring cameras, software, etc. One of the cameras turned out to be defective, so they had to come back a few days later to finish the job.
