I am torn writing and rating this because the quality of the wine at Zion Vineyards is genuinely some of the best I have ever had. The wine tasting itself was truly enjoyable. In terms of flavor and craft, the vineyard produces bold and beautiful wine flavors that I could enjoy at any time for any occasion. However, I cannot give a higher rating due to a deeply uncomfortable encounter I had with the owner, Michael. To put it bluntly, he was unprofessional, intoxicated, and even crossed physical boundaries that were inappropriate. I will politely describe him as a walking HR violation. It was unsettling to see his coworker, Patrick, having to "babysit" him with other patrons while also keeping the other wine tastings running smoothly. It's a shame that Zion Vineyards' world-class wine experience was overshadowed by the behavior of an inappropriate owner. If you choose to visit Zion Vineyards, go for the wine, but be wary of the owner if you're a female. read more

Harvest Hist stop for RVers. Plenty of space to park. Decent wine, friendly staff / owner. Kind of pricey and they didnt give us a discount on the wine tasting for one. Charged us for two at $25 each. Too expensive for a wine tasting in Utah. We ended up spending $140, but we had a good time. Easy on and off the 15 freeway. read more

Incredible service full of knowledge and details on the wine and its history, ambiance is very causal (fun to be surrounded by the barrels while you taste), videos on the TV of the vineyard and processes, great price point for the tasting itself, incredible reds with imported yeasts from original grape countries so you really get those old world profiles. So my mom and I were on the way back from Payson and decided on a side quest! Did you know there was an Utah wine trail???? We did not! That is kind of our thing. So we stopped in one place...and it was okay...but we thought 1 more before we get home....so glad we did!!! Jumping of the highway and following the GPS...you kind of get hills have eyes vibes (cemetery road...passing a cemetery)....but don't fear!!! You come upon this amazing little place with a great history! The service was chef's kiss! I walked away with several bottles as did my mom! The best part was our server. (Early May, 2024). We had had a stressful day at Zion National Park. It was very crowded -- long lines at the entrances, parking only after circling the Visitor Center's parking lot four times, standing room only on the shuttle busses, crowds on the most popular trails, and trail closures due to search-and-recovery efforts. All of those stresses melted away at Zion Vineyards. Located about 30 minutes from the entrance to the national park in Leeds, Utah (with easy access via I-15), the vineyard has a pleasant Tasting Room (21 and over only) with grape plants being cultivated in the vineyard in the back. Tastings are $25/person, and generally take about 45 minutes as the owners share extensive information about the wines. Bottles can also be purchased; we bought a delightful Grenache Blanc ($25, I think). Staff were friendly, parking was plentiful and free, and walk-in's are welcome. Check their website for hours, but they're generally open from noon to 6 or 7 pm. For any RVers out there, this vineyard participates in Harvest Hosts. read more

We went here and absolutely love how homey it felt! We did the wine tasting and ended up taking a cab home. It was nice to hear how the wine was made and the future plans for them! They also let us bring our dog so that was a plus and the views were immaculate. They were so friendly! Would recommend taking a trip here if you're in the area. read more

We had requested a stay with Zion Vineyards with our RV for a night through the Harvest Host app. They were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. You can tell upon arrival that this is a place where people love what they do and sharing their knowledge of wine making. We found them on a rack card at our hotel for a $25 wine tasting, which gives you 5 1 ounce pours of their rotating wines. It is a bit out of the way for some but well worth the trip and personalized service. The vineyard manager Dan was personable and even made some excellent recommendations to the less frequent wine drinkers in our party. While their tasting room is small, it is so full of life and stories. You also might have a chance encounter with one of the owner's cute corgis which was another highlight for me. The owner also took us on a tour of the vineyard and explains about the different grapes despite the heat. This place is so new to wine friendly. This place is definitely on our next trip to Utah. Was a nice break from Zion park. We try to find local wineries when on vacation and this one didn't disappoint. I'm a fan of wines on the drier side. Their moscato had the perfect amount of sweetness if you are someone that finds moscatos typically too sweet. The Cabernet and Zinfandel were delicious. Stopped by this small winery while staying in St George. They only do tastings but it worked out fine. The Tempranillo Reserve was amazing and the pourer was friendly and informative. We started with a few white wines, then a rose, and ended with some red wines. Michael was so engaging and friendly! Plus his music was great!
