I signed up for 2 lesson packages: the 6-hours practice plus the behind the wheel test and the 10-hours practice. I had 16 hours of practice (no practices outside of class), and passed my driving test the first time with only 6 minor mistakes :). I had Ray at my instructor. He is always on time and very patient. Ray was my driving instructor. I have to say he is awesome. He was extremely detailed oriented and during my lessons he explained every detail. Perfect! can't be any better. My instructor was Ray. He is super friendly, kind and patient. He really cared about me learning driving with good habits. I got the whole package of 10 hours with him plus the test day practice. I would say each session lasts more than 2 hours actually because he really wanted me to learn everything correctly. In addition, he taught me everything that the examiner gonna check in the actual behind the wheel test. He also advised me of the date and hour and place for taking the test. A day before the test, we did three mock tests which really helped. I would say the price they charged is really affordable and much cheaper than other schools(30 percent) without sacrificing the quality of teaching! I paid 400$ for 10 hours + 150$ for the test day practice and the car for the test. And guess what! I passed the behind the wheel test in the first try with the strict examiner. :) Moreover I need to emphasize that Sue, the person whom I called first to ask my questions and get the instructor, was also nice and responsive. I also need to say that I was really inexperienced and had limited driving experience. Driving 10 hours with Ray improved me from 10 to 100! This driving school is really affordable and professorial. I highly recommend this driving school to anyone who wanna learn driving with good people and with good price. read more

I had zero experience in driving in the past and with 6 lessons Ive just passed the test today at Santa Clara DMV. Ray was by far the most patient instructor I've ever met. He's kind , professional and very knowledgeable. Also, AWAYS on time. I feel very comfortable and confident driving now because of his clear and to-the-point lessons. I recently cleared my drive test with Zero errors. I knew driving but haven't driven in US. Zip driving school instructor Ray and Sue, trained me about every rules and kept on correcting/guiding during the driving session. I highly recommend Ray from Zip Driving School. Very professional, patient, and always on time. I had very minimum driving experience. Ray was very calm and helped to get the right driving habits, and also made me feel confident about driving within 2-3 classes. Ray also made me prepared for "behind the wheel" exam by giving enough information on what instructors will look for in the exam, and practice them. Ray is super. He makes me feel so relaxed while driving as if I can fall to sleep in the car any time I want. I think it is a rare quality for a driving instructor.
