Frank is an incredible instructor to say the least. My daughter has been terrified to get behind the wheels and procrastinated getting her driver's license. Frank is reassuring and gives out very clear instructions. He is able to not only make her feel significantly less nervous while driving but had also methodically explained things other driving instructors seem to think you can figure out, such as how to tell how far away another car in the mirror really is and when exactly you should start and end turns. On the day of the driving test, Frank went over some videos with my daughter to remind her things she should be aware of and practiced on several routes with her. My daughter was able to pass the test on her first try with flying colors. Last but not least, I feel that frank is not just teaching his students so they could pass the test but also making sure to teach the driving skills necessary that enable you to drive under conditions that are beyond the scope of the test. I had two options before I went to DMV for the behind-the-wheel test. First, get a rental and drive to the DMV, or second, get an instructor who knows the route and know-how of the DMV. If I failed with a rental, I'd have to reschedule and do the same process all over again, so I decided to go with an instructor. One of my friends had already taken the test with Frank, so it was an easy choice. Frank has an eye for the smallest of details and has a very thorough approach. He points out the smallest of flaws an examiner would notice but in a very gentle way. At DMV, there were some complications with my documents but Frank has contacts at DMV, which made things A LOT smoother for me. I only lost one point during the test. Mr Frank is a very effective instructor and has helped 2 generations of our family pass behind the wheel test successfully- me, my wife (few years ago) and our elder son just this week! Frank is the best driving teacher anyone can ask for. He will drill driving rules into you. Given I have almost no prior experience driving, I got my license in ~ 9 days since my first class with Frank. Just 9 days!! He is strict in a fun way, which is a great way to learn. My daughter and her friend took the behind-the-wheel course, which the State of Ca mandates for six hours course. I have to give applause to Frank, the Driver instructor. The kids reported to me that he is very patient and knowledgeable about coaching the kids on how to drive on our local street and highway. Frank is an excellent teacher and taught my son who practiced 2 hours a time over multiple days and sometimes multiple times a day - net net the teaching was great, he let me observe as a passenger in the back and appreciate the improvement after a few sessions.
