Customer service is such a key fundamental to business and this small business has it! I don't live close to this location but saw they had great deals on a variety of road bikes. They were honest and were not just trying to make a huge sale. My original purchase was a great bike but unfortunately a week after riding found out there was a factory defect. They were very apologetic when I told them the issue and told me to come right down when I had the chance. When I came in they acknowledged my issue and asked what I would like to happen (this is where their service is different) they went above and beyond to make sure I got the experience I deserved. I ended up upgrading to a higher end bike because of my preference and I couldn't be happier. I will be sending everyone I know that wants to purchase a bike there. Very happy I stopped in! This is a family business which I think is cool.. They carry quite a few different mountain, road and hybrid bikes.. I had an idea of what was in stock before I went in because they post regularly on craigslist. I had a general idea of what bike and features I wanted and told Ken what I was looking for. He was very knowledgeable and even brought up some things I hadn't thought to consider in my months of research... like whether or not I should consider a tapered downtube. We were in the market for a bike for my 11 year old son. They had a nice bike for a good price but my son wasn't with us to test it out. The service was fast and friendly at this small but knowledgeable shop. We wanted to have something right away so were disappointed they said they weren't going to be open the next day which was a Saturday but would be open the following Saturday. Yes I came here to buy a BOB stroller on a Saturday however they were closed. It turns out they close on 2nd and 4th weekend. I returned the following week and purchased one. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me assembled the stroller in no time and loaded it into my packed SUV. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My girlfriend wanted to buy her first road bike. As I'm new to this I had to do my homework for what was best. Given I had no idea and multiple internet searches, we found this gem of a company. I am so happy with the purchase, so is my girlfriend. Given I'm in sales myself I wait for the lines to be delivered and the up sale model. Non of that happened. I will now buy my next bike here. No complaints. Oh ya and it was a hot day to. So in the shop they even offered cold water while we waited to pay. It's the small things that make it all the difference. read more

Ken did a great job for me. Unlike the other stores I went to he wasn't pushy and was very enthusiastic about getting me the right bike. He took his time and listened to what I needed, He let me test out several bikes and gave me his opinion that didn't automatically result in buying the most expensive bike. The shop is shared with another store but don't let that turn you off, he has a great selection of bikes and knows his stuff. I bought a bike that retailed at $540 for $410 and it was a 2015 model. I will not hesitate to see him again to get a bike for my wife. read more

Ken here is pretty dope. I came here about 3 weeks ago and he provided great service. He did some little tune ups to my mountain bike at a low cost. His service was so good it made me look around and I bought a few items. Just yesterday, I went to a neighboring business. I won't say which one but they were charging me almost double for a full tune up vs the quote I got from Ken. They also made some obvious money recommendations that wete not needed as if I was at a sleezy mechanic shop.... This made me realise how honest and great Zipbee and Ken is. Went to this store 30 minutes before close. Door was open so I let myself in. Asian lady came out of the backroom, she said that they are already closed. Then white dude comes out of the backroom and asked what I need. Told him I wanted to check out their bikes. Guy says they're already closed. I then said, the door sign says you guys are open 'til 6pm. Guy then says...it's slow today so we decided to close early, why don't you just come back on Saturday. Can't believe I just got turned away. With this kind of service, how can you stay in business? No wonder I never heard of this bike shop before. Keep posting your bikes on Craigslist and good luck getting more customers. read more

Ken and the team gave me excellent service for an amazingly fair price!!! ;-) I just got a new bike in a box, nothing fancy, just a simple starter bike for my lady, and they set it all up like needed without having to spend a fortune or charging me more than the bike was actually worth! (unlike the other high end "fancy" bike shop in close proximity in Scripps ranch area next to Trader Joe's) I called first to be sure they were open and able to perform the service I needed. Ken courteously answered the line, patiently listened to my less than knowledgeable explanation of what I was looking for (I am no bike expert), and readily assured me that the job could be done at a reasonable price assuring me it would be ready before the end of the day. I got the call at 5:30 PM and got there at almost exactly 6 (closing time) to find enthusiastic smiles, several other customers still being attended to in the shop, and warm appreciative departing handshakes thanking me for my service and wishing me luck with my new wheels. I could not ask for a more hospitable experience and would easily recommend this place to friends and family for any future bicycle services they may need.
