The office informed me that Dr. Edin has again refused to provide medication for our dog, despite knowing the potential harm this will cause. This follows a previous refusal to provide insulin. My reaction to this news was understandably strong, given my concern for our pet's well-being. Dr. Edin's subsequent comments regarding other patient's behavior speaking poorly about then and then my alleged use of Yelp is inaccurate and unprofessional. Prior to this call, I had no knowledge of the situation or that the office possessed my contact information. It is deeply concerning that Dr. Edin would allow our dog to suffer, potentially to the point of death. Our long-standing veterinary relationship has been abruptly terminated, and our dog will again suffer due to Dr. Edin's actions.

Today my daughter went to pick them up and immediately called and said "Mom the dogs hair look like they haven't been cut". I told her to go back in and ask to speak to Robin. The next call from my daughter was, they said Robin is busy. So I called and the girl working the phones was rude and said the same thing when I asked to speak with Robin. Robin returned my call, I am furious at this point. I feel devalued as a client. Robin immediately was defensive and explained that she ran out of regular shampoo, and she would refund my money and I should find a new groomer. I made a trip to her establish to speak with her. I needed to tell her that she didn't even take the time to see what my issue was. This showed me just how much she valued my business. Robin went on to say that she was over booked, ran out of regular shampoo and had to use hypoallergenic shampoo. I showed her pictures of my dogs, share my discontent with her front staff and voiced my concern. After showing her pictures, she informed me that she didn't cut my dogs ear hair. Funny how this was never explained until I showed her pictures. If this is how you operate, then yes you are right, I do need a new groom. What business does this? Over the last year this business has gone from being great to mediocre at best. Robin jumped to conclusions subjecting me to her frustration. She apologized but unfortunately it's too late. Based on what I understand, things escalated after they attempted to muzzle him, despite him never having shown aggression. That should have been a clear signal to pause and reassess, not push forward. When I tried to ask Dr.Regetz what happened, I was met with short, defensive answers. Any attempt to ask reasonable questions was treated as combative, and I was hung up on without getting any real clarity. Since Dr. Kenny left, this clinic has gone downhill in terms of professionalism and care. I no longer feel confident in their ability to safely handle animals, nor do I trust their communication or judgment. I strongly urge others to consider a different provider. I was understandably upset and just wanted answers. Dr. Regetz was immediately defensive, treating my questions like attacks. She even said, "You weren't here--I'm the one who had to bring your dog back from the brink of death," as if I should feel bad for her. That response only made me more concerned about how this was handled. It did NOT have to get to that point any reasonable person would have stopped before it did.
