Beware: Zips Car Wash damaged my new BMW X7! One star. To give credit where credit is due, Zips provides a great car wash. Hence my purchasing a top tier Unlimited Wash Club membership for my new BMW X7. I especially appreciate the unlimited clean microfiber towels provided in the vacuum bays. But it was in a vacuum bay that I discovered that the strength of the car wash might have its disadvantages. My rear windshield wiper had been sucked off of the windshield and was sticking straight out. When I went to push it back in, it broke off in my hands. I went home and contacted the company via their website. That was February 13. It is now April 17 and nothing useful has been done regarding my claim to replace my rear windshield wiper for $220 (quote by the dealership). Corporate customer service repeatedly tries to pawn me off. My claim has been forwarded to the correct department and someone will be contacting me. My claim has been forwarded to the site and someone from the site will contact me. (The manager of the site says he checks his email regularly to see if Corporate has contacted him. So far, according to him, they haven't.) So car wash? Thumbs up. Customer service? Resolving issues? Terrible. My wife went to Zips on Memorial Rd. and purchased a $10 wash in November. She was charged the $10 and on the same day, she was charged an additional $35 and put on a recurring membership and charged $35 3 times total before we caught it on her bank statement. I emailed a Melody about it and requested the $105 refund and provided the information she needed to track it down and hopefully fire the employee who did it. Employee working today could care less about customer service. I had to call (phone off the hook) and bang on the door (to get the guy out of the bathroom) several different times to get help for me or other customers that were at the gate honking. I got the package that included window wipes and he had no clue what I was talking about when asking for the wipes. $25 car wash and my car is still covered in bugs!! I've used these car washes for over 2 years but all Zips have gone down! 3 times in the last 2 weeks the car wash I went to was shut down. When I leave the car wash after washing, the back of my Jeep is still filthy and looks like it wasn't touched. There are also water spots all over from not rinsing or drying well. I kept going back, giving them benefit of the doubt and thinking it would change. It's only gotten worse, and now I'm noticing scratches on hood and sides. On top of that, my antenna has been damaged and water leaks through the roof and back hatch. I will never again recommend them to anyone!! I had a membership. I would go and get my car washed but the sensor never worked. So this one time I went and it didn't work and I wanting for someone to come out, I tool the sticker off and took it to the attendant. I told him this has never worked, he yelled and said, well it wont work now and you're going to have to get a sticker for $5.00. I said I'm not buying a new sticker and I'm canceling my membership. I called and they were empathetic, set me up for a new membership and then the call dropped. I knew they were not going to do anything about the rude employee. His attitude was unnecessary. This business service has been going down since Zips purchased it. But the good news is, a new car wash opened up a block down the street and they are awesome. This location is, unfortunately, the worst. Always inconsistent as to if they're open. One of both of the gates is always broken, causing unnecessary lines and waiting. And the wash is ok, but other locations are noticeably better. I only feel bad for the team there as I expect it's an issue with getting proper fixes and not just bandages. This car wash is a joke at least at this location . There car wash damaged my car . I got a generic reply from owners but no offer to fix or repair my car . So I went but again to speak with someone and no one was there . Which is typical for this location. So I tried to vacuum my car out and none of the vacuums were in service . Which is also typical for this location.when they are in service half of them are clogged up and don't work from lack of maintenance. It's a shame because I have been a customer of zips for many years . This location however , has some serious issues that the owners need to pay attention to . As I have said before I have been a long time customer bit after this last experience and the lack of communication from the owners , and or corporation it is going to change . We've been using this car wash for over year and it's been great at cleaning our cars. Last week my husband was in line for a wash and they asked him to back out of the line because none of brushes were work. Today we came for a wash and two of the brushes (the overhead brush and the left side brush) were not working at all. We went through the wash and told the attendants that the brushes weren't working, bug splatter marks were still there. He said he had to turn those brushes off because they were broken. We asked for a refund and he refused. He said he could wash it again. After the second wash, where he used the higher quality soap, but the brushes still were not working, the bug splatters were still there. Very dissatisfied with the service and equipment maintenance at this location. We would not recommend. read more

I go to Boomerang because it is conveniently located and two it's affordable and gets the job done. For a self serve automated car wash, I have to say the I'm pleased. For a basic wash, you are in and out in about three minutes. It gives a good wash and you also have the option to vacuum for free. read more

This car wash is never open. They always close way before 8pm and are rarely open when I come to get my car washed. Every time it is either that their wash is broken or the employees aren't doing their job. I also try to come in the morning since they open at 8am but they have never once been open at that time. CONSUMER BEWARE! After visiting this location on Tuesday, February 28th, the car wash broke off the luggage rack plastic trim piece on my TRD Pro Toyota 4-Runner & after filing a damage claim & after the video confirmed that the wash (specifically the blower process) did in fact dislodge/break the trim piece...my claim was denied "due to what must have been a pre-existing condition." The replacement part is $65 through any local Toyota dealership-not an exhorbitant amount by any means, but the facts are the facts: the trim piece was intact prior to going through the car wash & video did reveal the piece becoming dislodged/broken during the wash process. I did escalate the complaint with Mark McNeil; District Manager & did supplement additional information to support honoring the $65 claim-I as well as 3 other members of my family utilize this car wash ($15/wash) 1-2X every 2 weeks. Mark was unwilling to "make this right" and now that location has lost 3 repeat/member customers....for life. Don't let this happen to you & avoid this business-which clearly does not hold customer satisfaction & service in any regard whatsoever. Stay Away!! 1st of all their wash is horrible and their customer service is non existent. My car was damaged with a 4 inch dent to driver side door. I reported it immediately to the only attendant working, filled out incident report which said I'd be contacted within 72 hours. The attendant didn't seem the least bit concerned and there were a stack of incident reports where I left mine so clearly a common experience. It's been 2 1/2 weeks and haven't heard from anyone. I've called local location 3 times and told someone would call me right back. Nobody has yet to call me. The 3rd time I called, the manager told me he was too busy to talk to me and told me "can you just come down here?" I called corporate location and only get voicemail. Worst experience ever. read more
