I told her that I would bypass my insurance and pay cash like I have been doing for the last 15 weeks and she stated that it was a violation of CVS policy to allow me to pay cash and bypass insurance. I explained that it was my legal right to pay cash for my medication and not my insurance and she stated that CVS policy supersedes Federal law. I recorded the conversation. I have called CVS customer service and the executive pharmacist. Steven returned my call and said they were going to escalate it. I will be without medication starting tomorrow. I will no longer use this Pharmacy. I will find a mom and Pop local pharmacy and start using them for my medication. When a pharmacist tells you that policy supersedes law, there is a legal issue. I thought it was a little weird but approved them moving my prescriptions from another pharmacy. Weeks went by with no courtesy call to let me know if everything was moved over and ok. So I called asking about getting an important prescription refilled and was told that I couldn't because my insurance was canceled. I explained that I get this one covered by a state program and that it's supposed to be free. I felt like I was talking to a wall. I told her that I just wasn't feeling comfortable with the way things were going and asked to have everything sent back to the original pharmacy. She said that she couldn't do it and I needed to have them contact her. The…read morelast 2 times that I have gone to pick up my mothers medication they keep lying about xanax being on back order and they lie about not receiving the script. How can you not receive the script when the same office is calling the same medication for the same patient over and over. I called yesterday, July 25 to make sure that what happened last time would not happen this time. They assured me that as soon as they get the script the medication should be ready in a couple of hours. the Scripps were called end and also were faxed over. I go today to pick up the medication's July 26, 2023 they give me only half of it they told me they didn't receive the script I got on the phone with the doctors office the doctors office called again. I was present in there. They were even bothered by me. Standing there to figure out what is going on. This is the last time that we go to this pharmacy. We're going across the street it's 1 million pharmacies around the world with better employees and better attitudes .
