    Gator bites

Nice southern service. Very clean place actually. Looks like it was redone not long ago. It has a rustic inside but not beaten up or anything. Gator bites was good. Kids liked their chicken tenders. Cheese ball appetizer was good also. I liked the catfish. It is not a grouper. So don't expect that if you do order it. Acquired taste a bit. Grouper was also great btw. Reasonable priced. We will be back here.

This place had amazing food we were visiting from California and happened upon this place. Our waitress was amazing and she recommended the blackboard fish, which is their fresh fish and recommended the Corvina, which I had never had but ended up being absolutely delicious. I would definitely go back and they have some amazing Keylime pie.

Harry's Old Place is a great combination of atmosphere and great food. This local seafood restaurant will cook your fish to order. They have fantastic specials and great drink options. We enjoyed the Corvina and Trout. The cheesy grits were absolutely amazing. Holman was our waiter and was very attentive and accommodating. We dined overlooking a beautiful lake.

Visited the first time yesterday due to recommendations on yelp. 10 stars! Wonderful!!! My husband had Cobia, friends had fish and chips, sister had swordfish, I had another Fish that starts with a c and someone else had catfish. Also had the shrimp appetizer. Amazing!! We are still in town and will be going back today for lunch!

Friendly, efficient, helpful staff. Justin the bartender provided great service. The food was incredible. If I find myself on death row, I'm ordering my last meal from Harry's Old Place. A wide variety of fresh fish is available. We both ordered grouper. The fresh vegetable was green beans and they might have been picked this morning. Hush puppies were the best I've tasted. We sat at the bar and planned to move to the back with its view of the lake. But as the place filled, we chose to stay where we were. Good choice. I hope we pass this way again. I wouldn't hesitate to have dinner at Harry's. In fact we were disappointed we had to head home and couldn't come back the following night.

Has been a while, but we're back. The entrance is fresh and inviting. Nicely updated restrooms AND a hand-washing station is also available. Love that! Service was congenial and efficient. Super nice! The food is as good as we remembered. Sweet Tea in a giant Mason jar was fresh and crisp. Most folks won't need a refill. ;-) We can happily recommend the Tossed Salad with Blue Cheese Or Ranch dressing. Served cold and fresh - very nice. The Fried Shrimp and Oysters are still favorites. Nice, light batter and prepared well. Definitely consider these options! The Fried Catfish was 2 big filets. Wish the batter was a little lighter, but very good. We enjoyed the tartar sauce, too. Too full for dessert (again) but will try to plan better next time.

Justin the bartender is the bomb!

Amazing service and food as always!, you can't pass up the Corvina! Great views and location!

This appears to be a local hangout. I adore all of the fresh fish options . I had the monkfish the favorite way with lemon and a side of butter. It was delicious. The chowder was a miss but the fish was delicious. Definitely stop as they have an array of different fish cooked anyway you like.

Outdoor dining and a section of restaurant has view of lake.

The four of us got seated right away by very friendly staff. All smiling all pleasant and professional. Kimberly came by almost immediately and got our drink orders. Since the bar was backed up she brought us waters and asked if we had any questions. All good! Drinks came by in a couple minutes and we had already settled on our food choices. Then the onslaught of food began! HUGE bowls of salad that were then dished into chilled salad bowls. Kimberly left the big bowl for us to have seconds. Then the rolls arrived. Damn. I need room for dinner. Oh well the rolls were smothered in cinnamon sugar butter by me and devoured. I can take the entree home I guess. Well no. The fajitas arrived with tortillas and a side plate of sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes. Guess I will suffer through them. Man was that steak and chicken tasty. Only a small portion came home. Could not have been a better experience. Noise level was enough that we could talk but others could not hear us. Got seated near Elvis so it was a fun atmosphere. Kimberly kept checking back and then at the end we got the secret lovely parting gifts. You have to be a local to know about them. Just keep your eyes open for people as they leave. Thanks again Kimberly!

We ordered the 10-ounce sirloin with stuffed shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes, which we split because the portions are very generous. We also had a side salad, and it was outstanding. It comes with their creamy garlic ranch dressing, which is absolutely delicious. Before the meal, they also bring warm rolls with cinnamon butter to the table, and they're always a treat. One of the things we enjoy most about Manny's is the fun, quirky decor and lively atmosphere. It's a casual and welcoming place. This visit wasn't quite as good as our previous ones. The service was a little slower than usual, but we believe our waiter was new and still getting comfortable. Our steak also arrived dry and lukewarm. The food itself was good but it would have been even better if it had been served hotter. Even with those issues, we still had an enjoyable meal and will definitely be back. Every restaurant has an off day, and Manny's Chophouse continues to be one of our favorite places to stop after a Disney trip.

We were seated in the back room for a birthday dinner celebration. The room was extremely dark and we couldn't turn on the other lights because it was connected to the most dustiest ceiling fans that had at least 1/4 of an inch thick of dust. The woman who was coming in and out of the room to pour water in the water glasses had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. I asked her a question about the menu and she very dryly told me "you can't order that unless you are on the other side" then walked away. That's when I was inquiring about the bistro menu. At that point I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat anything there due to their lack of plant based items or even easily adjustable items so I just ate the bruschetta. However when we placed the order for the bruschetta it never came out. So once we asked about it, it was then comped and brought out. Our waiter was very irritated and annoyed it seemed with the large party he had to tend to but his assistant which was a younger more personable guy was way more pleasant to be around. The cost point for the food was beyond the taste and size of the portions. When I asked about kid options, the waiter told me he could have the chef make a kids steak or chicken tenders and fries. It was my mistake for not asking for the price since I assumed it was a kids portion. Granted the tiniest steak did come out I still had to pay over $24 which I would have purchased the regular adult size if that was the case. So some clarity on the menu options for the kids would have been greatly appreciated. I can go on and on about this place but ultimately I would recommend not to go here unless you don't care about customer service or price points. Upon leaving the family event, and getting home I then realized my debit card was never returned to me by our gracious waiter. So once we returned to retrieve the card another day we were greeted with the rudest and most annoyed individuals at the host station. Needless to say we will never ever return.

The kids start chanting like a tiny mob: "Pizza! Pizza!" So we do what any good parent does -- we listen to the boss(es) and start cruisin' for a slice. We roll up to this joint. From the outside? Meh. Looked like the kinda place where you'd maybe get a decent soda and some dusty snacks. But the moment we walked in? BAM. We're greeted by someone with a personality so warm and bubbly, I thought I walked into a bottle of Pellegrino. We order a 12" pizza pie. I was skeptical. I mean, c'mon, I'm from Brooklyn. I've got marinara running through my veins. But lemme tell ya -- the first bite? Fuggedaboutit. I blacked out. I came to somewhere on Rutland Road, standing outside Tony's with a greasy paper plate in hand, angels singing Sinatra in the background. This pizza? This pizza slapped so hard it left a tomato-y handprint on my soul. The sauce? Rich like a Staten Island dentist. Bright, tangy, kissed by garlic, with a little sass like it just got off the L train. The cheese? Oh mamma mia. Gooey, melty, with that beautiful browned bubble thing goin' on -- like it went to tanning school. And the cheese-to-dough ratio? Perfect. Not too cheesy, not too doughy -- like a well-balanced New Yorker: tough on the outside, soft on the inside. And the dough -- chewy, crisp, kissed by the oven gods. You could smell the love from the parking lot. It had that intoxicating aroma that makes you float Looney Tunes-style off your feet, led by your nose. Even my kids -- who treat crust like a bad Tinder date -- devoured every last bite. I had to check under the table to see if they stashed any slices. Spoiler: they didn't. So yeah -- this Winter Haven spot? It's a gem. Who knew you could find a slice of Brooklyn flavor this far from a subway rat? We'll be back, no question. Until then, I'll be dreaming about that pizza like it owes me money.

There's a main great room and 2 smaller rooms that have seating as well and ambiance lighting throughout for intimate gatherings. The bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with necessities. As for the food, I got the Brussel sprouts salad without goat cheese which was delicious . It was about the size of my fist for $13. I assumed it was more of a tasting menu. My mother got the gnocchi which was described as delicious but lukewarm in temperature. She loved the beet salad however and the side of sour dough bread. My dad got a 13oz steak with potato purée. His steak was good in flavor however he described it as a bit too tough, and could have been more tender. Since he is a retired chef of 40 years I value his input. My other family members ordered the egg yolk ravioli which seemed a bit of a strange combination but certainly worked out in flavor. The labneh that was with the beet salad was also paired and eaten with the sourdough bread which seemed to be a great idea. Unfortunately the bolognese pasta was not tender enough for my family's liking. If you like pasta that way then you should be just fine. Over all it was fine dining and good. If you would like to go to a place where the portions are a bit larger I would suggest another place. But this is a nice casual dining intimate place for any special small occasion. This place is absolute paradise for my Lego loving child. It's pirate themed and has epic Lego creations. My son loves the area where kids can play with Legos and it's nice for the parents too as it gives them a break. The food is served family style and you get a lot of bang for your buck as you can reorder as many things as you'd like. We chose the Pirate Platter which includes: a delicious salad with apples and pecan and honey bread upfront, then a platter of assorted meats such as brisket, steak, sausage, chicken, and ribs. The brisket is our favorite. It comes with green beans, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. I really wanted to try some of the vegan platter so they brought that out for me at no extra charge. For dessert, we got a pan cookie with ice cream as well as the vegan chocolate fondue with fruits and marsh mallows. Since I stayed at the hotel, I also came here for breakfast as it is included in the stay. Breakfast is the same across all three Legoland hotels. It's also served family style and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, French toast or pancakes. You can add fruits, yoghurts, cereal, oatmeal at no up charge. And it also includes drinks such as coffee, milks, juices, etc. The staff was very accommodating about letting me take things to go and ordering extra stuff.

Do yourself a favor and have lunch at Lucille's in Winter Haven. Great menu with so many choices…read more We had the handcut chips and the fried cauliflower appetizers and they were delicious. The Angus burger is so flavorful and was cooked to perfection! My friend's buffalo chicken salad was delicious and enough for three meals. Can't fault a single thing. Our server, Kaley, was amazing, as well. So personable and steered us right on the menu. Def will be going back!

It's always a clear knockout when we eat here…read more There's no way we will ever go to Winter Haven without stopping at Lucille's. It is just that good. We take a trip to Legoland every now and again and every time we do we come and eat dinner here. We have loved every single meal. This time I branched out and tried another drink, I tried the sincerely, Lucille. It is vodka with fresh strawberries and basil, and it is amazing. Future Christina this is your new go to drink. My husband got his standard old-fashioned and enjoyed it. For food, I got the chimichurri steak, next time I should remember to get the chimichurri on the side just because my younger son didn't like the green stuff on the steak. The chimichurri is delicious. It was cooked perfectly at medium rare, I got their homemade chips as one of my sides because my kids wanted it. Their chips are so good that was definitely the way to go. I also got green beans which were amazing as well. My older son got the kids mac & cheese with a side of fries. I even loved his mac & cheese. It's definitely not the Kraft mac & cheese. My husband got the barbecue plate. He had mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes and loved all of it. My younger son ate off of all of our plates and we pretty much finished all our food. My younger son then got a dessert of vanilla ice cream with Oreos and he scarfed it down. We've never had a problem getting a seat here because it is a good size restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. If you're anywhere close to this restaurant, you should be eating here.
