I didn't think it was possible for Texas Roadhouse to be beat or challenged but I've found their match. As someone who eats at my local Texas RH once a week like it's church I must give Manny's his flowers. While visiting town we saw this restaurant on our way in and knew we needed to try it. The atmosphere and vibe is great. It has a lot of older antique movie stuff and old Americana things like the Blues brother's. That was refreshing to see. Texas RH gives away free peanuts and Manny's has fresh buttered popcorn to eat while u wait. Movie theater quality! The staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had Tiffany as our server and she was so good we came back the next night and asked for her again. The oven hot sweet dinner rolls with cinnamon butter or regular butter are IMO lighter and better than TRH. The endless made table side Cesar salad was exceptional and better than TRH and I helped myself to 2nds and 3rds. The sirloin and shrimp dinner special is worth it. On night one I went with the butter crab stuffed shrimp, it was OK but on night two I went with the fried shrimp and that was the best fried shrimp ever. They butterfly it and use a wonderful batter that's crunchy and flavorful. They give u large shrimp too. The sirloin was cooked perfectly med/rare but did need a little salt but good quality meat. I do prefer the TRH steak seasoning instead. The next night I opted for the rib eye and that was on point. Excellent quality and flavor. My daughter had prime rib two nights in a row and had the left overs for breakfast with no complaints. My side was the fully loaded baked potato that 2nd to none in flavor and toppings. They give a free ice cream dessert on your first visit! Loved it! If you're ever in the area make sure you try this fantastic chop house. read more

Did not have a good experience today and unfortunately this is the second time this has happed to us in the last 6 months. The ribeye was touch and stringy but cooked perfectly, the salad is always good but the rolls were ok a little stale. Waiter was Alex and very good. I've wanted to come here for ten or so years. My mom was in town and her coworker invited us to dinner. Well it is kitschy and fun as heck. The interior is full of local traffic signs and license plates from all over the world. This might sound cheesy, but it's unique and fun. The food is delicious and plentiful. Yeasty rolls with cinnamon butter, a table side tossed salad with housemade dressing, and then your dinner to just take home because you're full from rolls and salad! Our friend advised us to get the steak bites with mushrooms and onions. Those mushrooms are insane little bites of flavor. Oh and I forgot to mention they have popcorn too, which is also one of my favorite foods! read more

My steak looked broiled, had no grill marks at all, I asked for medium rare and got well done, Mac and cheese was cold, Appetizers came when our actual food came. Server seen us only twice. Looking for Chophouse near the family in FL. This relatively close drive (for FL) and always try to call in or get there early. There is a line. Food: 4/5 If you're looking for a true chophouse experience, this is it. I only ever come here with my grandfather because it's not for the faint of heart--or the vegans. Think cholesterol-inducing prime rib, buttery potatoes, and a token salad to make yourself feel a little better. The honey butter is dangerously addictive, and once it hits the table, there's no stopping. I always go for the prime rib with a few sides, and it never disappoints. That said, this isn't the place for seafood--sure, you can order the salmon, but really, why come to a chophouse for fish? Service: 3/5 The last visit was a bit disappointing on this front. It took at least 15 minutes for someone to even take our order, and then another 30-40 minutes just for salads to arrive. It felt like the kitchen and staff were seriously backed up, which hurt the overall experience. Ambiance: 4/5 I love the car plate decor! I absolutely love restaurants that give you that "mom & pops" feel and that deliver good food for a fair price... that's exactly how I felt about Manny's Chop House. Our waitress was nothing but superbly nice and attentive. The salad that comes with some of their meals is mixed by the servers themselves and I felt the ration of all the ingredients was very much on point. The Sirloin I got was a bit on the dry side, but everyone else in my party was very happy with their meal. Nice decor; license plates from all over the country. The ambience is very welcoming. I've lived in Florida for ten years and will say this is the best place to get steak! I was underwhelmed looking at the place tbh, think bbq joint... but DANG! I was judging a book by it's cover. My sister and I had one of the best servers and just want to give Alex his prompts. We had dinner there after church where we had rib eye steaks she had baked sweet potato and I had loaded baked. Alex was one of the best servers he was professional I didn't like a drink I was given and a different one was served. It was our first experience at Manny's through recommendations from the proprietors of the Air B&B we we rented for a weekend. I have to say the experience was spectacular, from the service, to the food. We went there with 2 other families, including a bunch of picky 16 year old teenagers and the overall experience was great. Probably the best bang for your buck that we've had in a long time. Being a pre-vegetarian, I got the endless salad and soup meal and I was surprisingly pleased. We were able to partake in the 2 for 1 sangrias, which were quite tasty. From the moment I walked in my family and I were greeted with such a warmth welcoming. We sat down and Jennifer was our waitress she was wonderful. She asked if it was our first time there and it was. Jenifer was super excited and helpful explaining the menus and what they had to offer. Between 4-7pm there is happy hour so we took advantage of that and ordered two Red Sangrias delicious. Then our main coarse which was delightful. From beginning to end this place was amazing, 100/10 I would give Mannys Chophouse! Came in a Sunday, we were driving by the area and saw that this place was packed. We were told it would be 25-30 minute wait and honestly we waited only 10 minutes when we were called. Our server was Lindsey and she was super nice and attentive and asked if we had ever eaten there before, she made sure we tried the salad and bread which were spectacular. The ambiance is fast paced, decorations are cool and fun, everone that works there is very attentive not just your waiter. Food came out super quick we shared a full slab of ribs with fries and Mac n cheese, the Mac n cheese was amazing and so was everything else. We came here the other night after leaving Davenport hospital. Barb was our server. I got the endless salad and soup. My husband got a burger and fries. Barb was excellent. Very attentive, quick, and personable. Soup (French onion) was good, salad too. Nothing to write home about, but not bad by any means. My husband's burger was overcooked. Barb noticed, but my husband said it was fine because he was hungry! Beer and margarita were both good too. Atmosphere was neat. Overall I would come back and try something else. A large venue. Casual atmosphere. It was 2 for 1 fajita night and 2 for 1 drinks. My wife and I both ordered the steak and chicken fajitas. We split the two sangria drinks. Food is marginal at best, not worth it. If you are wanting a halfway decent steak, I would look somewhere else, like Applebees. The filet did not look anything like a filet. It took about an hour to get a table on a Saturday evening but the food was WORTH IT. So delicious. Very similar taste and vibes to Texas Roadhouse but BETTER. Little on the pricier side. I got the mediterranean chicken and veggies served in butter + house salad. I actually ate ALL of the salad which I never even do. 10/10 food/table service wise. Always loved Mannys! So was craving a meat dinner this day and they had a special for a strip steak for about $18 I think that came with a side and the salad and delicious rolls. Tried that out and for me it was not it - It lacked of fattiness and flavor so I waved at the server and told her I rather just return the meal and exchange it for a prime rib for an upcharge. Prime rib was $26 ish I think. Prime rib came in and its not that huge but it was a thick piece of meat. I had the same side of sweet potato. The salad is always a delightful thing to have because it is delicious and it is a good light starter. The good thing about this salad is it has boil eggs in it. The yeasty rolls with cinnamon butter is so light and tender and fluffy it melts in your mouth! Always have extra rolls to go when I leave. The Prime Rib is melt in your mouth tender and the au jus is there for dipping or to saturate the meat. The portion is small for the price but it is a thick piece of meat as I said earlier. This place gets busy every night but I find on weekdays you can get seated right away. The ambiance is slight loud. The servers will write their name on the paper table cloth in case you forget who is your server. Lots of locals such myself eat here so that is a good sign! I try to bring my guests from out of state to eat at Manny's because the meals here are cheap and its where the locals go. read more

Recently tried this place since we were in the area....have to say this was a good one. Since I moved to FL YEARS ago I've struggled to find good BBQ with a good atmosphere. Something to remind me of home with a southern feel. Definitely a popular place for a reason. Staff is more than nice and checks on you even when your table is not one of there's.
