i have been in the starfish program since February 17th, and it has been a life changing…read moreexperience...i'll admit at first it was a bit overwhelming but as time has moved on i am finding myself getting into the swing of things...yes there are a lot of rules that at first i couldnt understand, but as time moves on i realized that they are put in place to help you get back into the everyday responsibilities that comes from living a clean and sober life...this program has provided me with the tools i need to help stay clean...they provide a gym for exercise 4 times a week, there is yoga, breath works, sound bath...i didnt understand why i had to go to all these things at first, but i've come to learn that it all helps with my physical, spiritual, and mental well being...i will admit i have had some issues with trying to deal with all that is required of me, but in reality it is all to better me in some way...i'm greatfull for the caring staff, and im greatful that therre are programs like this that have sober living houses where there are other addicts that i can relate to, and can help me to continue in my recovery, because i can't do it on my own...im truly greatful for starfish recovery and wellness program

After searching high and low for a doctor to…read morehelp me get over my fear of flying, I finally stumbled upon Dr.Wenzel, and to be honest she really didn't have room for any new patients, but somehow she squeezed me in. She takes a very direct and rationale approach to therapy, and told me up front that she wanted to get me over this phobia as quickly as possible so that she could stop seeing me, and start helping another patient. I can respect that. And I appreciate the willingness to actually work hard and not pansy around. You think I like being afraid to fly? Hell no. Her approach is all about acceptance and coping. As in- accept that I don't like to fly, and figure out how to make the best of it without causing an international incident. Six months later, I flew to Cancun for a vacation. And two months after that I flew to Orlando for work. So she lived up to her promise- she is fast and efficient. I highly recommend her to anyone who doesnt want their hand held, but who actually wants an aggressive problem solver who can help them.
