I had to have my car towed here earlier this week. I called beforehand to ask if they could fit me in, they were super accommodating and helpful. It took a day to get my car fixed, and they kept me updated on changes in cost and timeline. And when they called to let me know my car was ready, they told me what other work it's going to need in the future, and gave me an estimate so I could save up for that point. I'm new to the area and felt comfortable asking them for advice on where I can get my emissions test done nearby and they also let me know they do oil changes for the future as well. Zoels is so great! They helped me with my transmission that went dry and then they helped my wife with her drains when they got plugged. They are honest, reliable and do really good work. When my wife's drains got clogged a second time my wife called. They brought her in, unclogged it, AND cleaned the interior from the water at such a low price. They are honest and fair. Let me first start by saying I used to work in industry. I got into an accident in CT and through my insurance only had the choice of two shops if I wanted to work warrantied. Living out of state 1200 miles away I wanted the work to be guarantied just in case something was off. This was the better of the two by reviews found online. Keep in mind I'm a nut with my car. It's a 08 Acura TL Type S. I know every inch of the car in and out. I also work on my own car as well. Before the car was hit it was excellent looking. At first I thought this was a good choice. Nice facility. Nice staff and professional at first. But as time when on and at the time I picked the car up I realized this wasn't the case. First they gave me a timely of two weeks but it took over three. Two weeks is more than enough time to complete the job from the accident. The car sat for a week because they told me if took a week to order parts. Anyone that's works in the industry knows it doesn't take a week to order parts unless you have some kind of rare or new car and parts come from over seas. I've ordered the same exact parts for my other TL and by day two I had the parts of they weren't in stock. But ok fine I'll agree to disagree there. Mind you in burning PTO time for them to take their time so I'm not happy. Im stuck until they give me my car. The day I went to pick up the car is when it went from OK to BAD! This was a $9000 job. They painted an area on the new bumper that comes from the factory painted and textured already changing the color from grey to blue. Burn marks all over the new paint and new panels from wet sanding and buffing. Down to the metal and plastic. Fish eyes and dust all over. Clear laid on dry in some places. Color didn't match in places. Zebra strips from poor painting. Over spray every where and the body work looked like you could go surfing on it. But it doesn't stop there. They had to remove my rear bumper and tail light to blend clear. Well they man handled the bumper chipping paint off and edge and creating stress marks on another edge. Not to mention chipping the edge of the corner panel where it meets the tail light. It seemed like a gorilla handled these parts. When I went to address these concerns with the shop manager he immediately got an attitude, said f this, turned his back and said deal with the owner! Are you serious?!? I'm a customer with a huge ticket?! You're going to treat me like that. Well needless to say the owner wasn't much help either. He tried to justify everything and said he did an OK job. Well and OK job isn't good enough. Plus they missed some stuff too!! Plus side this, I called my insurance company right away and they instructed me to take it home to FL and they would take care of everything they messed up and things they missed. I have a body shop here that is beyond excellent. I've used them twice and came highly recommended. Once was for a light rear hit and the other was Maintenon on the nice for some rock chips. Both times the car looked perfect like the day I picked it up new. Even he said they did a hacked job!! I recommend you look for another shop because this place does a hack job and more! Plus they are beyond rude. But the girls at the front desk are super nice and cute! read more

Unbelievable Service! My girlfriend and I had to drop her Mountaineer off to this shop one Monday morning due to some unknown issues with noise and a bad smell. As soon as we walked out of the shop, I realized I had a flat tire on my Honda Fit! We walked back into the shop and asked if I could have my tire change, and if there would be an extensive wait. While most other shops would have taken advantage of the situation, one of Zoel's professionals took the car right in and found the nail embedded in the tire, and repaired it in about 10 minutes. Better than that, when I offered to pay, they told me not to worry about it. It's professionals like these that I would much rather have my car go to in the future! I take my car to get serviced here all of the time. My mother needed a place to take her car after not passing her emissions test and I recommended Zoel's. She took it to Zoel's and loved her experience. The staff did not give up until the issues with her car were resolved and even took it to emissions themselves and came back with it passing. I first started to go to Zoel's 20 years ago when I saw they were recognized by the Connecticut Better Business Bureau for outstanding consistent customer service. Their staff is professional and the integrity shown in dealing with car repairs and maintenance is what has kept me a loyal customer. Three years ago we moved to more than 50 miles away from Zoel's. So I started to go to a local Toyota maintenance location 3 miles from my home. One time they recommended over $1,200 in maintenance requirements. I decided to take the same car to Zoel's and was informed the only work needed to be done cost around $400. Luckily I am now retired since I value the integrity and quality shown by Zoel's since I make the 50 minute trip each way to have all my car maintenance and auto body work done.
