She was patient and not over aggressive, she was always available to answers questions and make recommendations. She's a true Rockstar that cares about her customers and it shows. We contacted multiple Toyota dealerships in the area to test drive and purchase a new Toyota Corolla Cross and Toyota of Wallingford met all of our needs. We will definitely utilize this dealership and Shay Sadosky for our future Toyota purchases! Teressa, Jessica and Dorman

Stay far away from this dealership. There are many others nearby. I worked with Steve Lang who lied…read moreto us the entire time. He told us the optional add ons were not optional on any car and they all come equipped with them, even if we were to order a car through them not on the lot. We negotiated the price based on having these add ons. He was also incredibly pushy. He only had one Corolla on the lot but it was a dark color that we did not want. He got us the color we wanted and said it would be the exact same as the Mariner document he printed of the one they had in stock. Only difference would be the color. When we went to pick it up (a week after they said it would be there and at 6 PM), we had our toddler with us so didn't have much time to look at the car. Once we got home we realized it did not have any of the optional upgrades. We tried handling it with Steve who just yelled and spoke over me the entire time. I told him have the manager call us then I called. He never got back to us until almost a week later after we got toyotacare involved 3 times. Dan the manager was the exact same as Steve. Kept twisting our words and was unwilling to work on a resolution, calling Steve the "most honest guy he knows". You can see from all of the one star google reviews that mention Steve that is not true. Dan also called us liars because we didn't notice until we got home that day. Not sure how that makes us liars when he knows those things aren't included in our car. He also tried to tell us the one we bought is more expensive because more people want them. No more people want them because they're cheaper. It's the exact same car but with no upgrades. How would that be more expensive? You would think they would want to make it right since we have another Toyota that's on the way out. I have also dissuaded my neighbor who is going to be buying a Toyota suv soon and my aunt not to buy from here. I suggest going to any other Toyota dealership nearby unless you like being lied to, bad faith negotiations and being disrespected by grown men.

Neil was so sincere, honest and knowledgeable when talking to me about the many repairs my can needed. As a woman, its very easy to be taken advantage of however,I never once felt that he was trying to "get over on me" and just take my money! I genuinely felt that he really cared about my safety and keeping my vehicle running well! I will recommend SafeT Auto in Wallingford to everyone and will keep coming back!

My first delt with a repair in relation to a loud noise from what I was explained was a bearing issue in the rear. Along with a new alignment and other services, the repairs were made at a very high cost. There was no noice and the car was in good shape. In a few months, the same exact noise returned. I returned it to Saf T Auto only to discover that the caliper was "frozen" and I needed more repairs that would cost $1,300 +. It was explained that the bearing was not the issue this time around. It was the caliper. I decided that alone should be fixed because I simply could not afford to pay the larger cost. I was assured the caliper replacement would fix the issue with the noise. After the repairs, I picked up my vehicle and drove off and immediately my alert AWD light came on. I returned back to the Saf T Auto where they fixed the alert light. After traveling less than two minutes, the same exact noise that was the issue to begin with returned. I contacted Neil. He said that the bearings will have to be changed after all. I refused to pay for additional services because the part was under warranty by Saf T Auto. Neil concede that it was and explained that it will be fixed at all cost in three more days. What troubled me the most was that the underlined issue of the noise conming from the rear was never repaired after I was assured that the caliper was the issue. And to insinuate that the bearings needed to be changed at an additional cost intially then to confirm that they were under warranty after I refused to pay the cost is severely suspect. No apologies we're given. No "we will repair as soon as possible." I was told it was safe to drive around with damaged bearings. Somehow, I believe that is not an accurate statement. I'd give no stars if I could to reflect this second visit.

Adam Leaving my old review completely intact for honesty and truthfulness. Honest Review: A Disappointing Experience with Quality As a four-time repeat customer who had previously purchased three brand-new vehicles straight off the lot with zero issues, I expected a baseline level of integrity and customer care. Unfortunately, my recent experience purchasing a used 2010 Subaru Outback has completely reshaped my view of this dealership.I fully own my mistakes in this transaction: I bought the car "as-is" in January, from Faith who stopped responding to me as well as Mike Ward I skipped an independent third-party pre-purchase inspection in my rush to secure a vehicle, and overpaid for a car whose Kelley Blue Book private party value maxes out around $5,000 in mint condition. However, what happened afterward highlights deep concerns about the condition of vehicles being passed off to buyers. The Reality CheckAfter moving to Vermont and bringing the car in for its state inspection, the true condition of the vehicle came to light. Despite driving it less than 10,000 miles post-purchase, an official shop estimate revealed that it needed over $4,000 just to pass a basic safety inspection. When factoring in all the underlying mechanical failures--including a seized front brake caliper, failed wheel bearings, torn tie rod boots, a rusted-out exhaust system, a leaking head gasket, oil pan, and oil level sensor, a failing power steering pump, and a mushy clutch grinding into third gear--the total repair estimates topped $12,000 on a car I paid $10,000 cash for. The car is completely unregistrable and undrivable in its current state. Dealership Response When I reached out to management, team members were polite in conversation, but ultimately Mike Ward took, several days to respond after i called the directly then I texted him. you can read below he could not open the link. I then proceeded to download the video and send it to him. when i did not get a response and drove down in person from Vermont to get a response I was told their mechanics found nothing wrong with the car When I drove all the way back from Vermont and paid for a hotel room just to try and find a constructive solution--such as a fair trade-in buyback allowance, a repair partnership, or applying the value toward a reliable vehicle on their lot--I was met with silence and no trade-in estimate. Buyer BewareIf you are considering buying a used vehicle here, learn from my expensive lesson:Do not trust that a car on their lot is in road-ready condition, even if it is priced at a premium.Always take the vehicle to an independent, third-party mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection before handing over any money.Expect zero accountability or support from management once the "as-is" paperwork is signed, regardless of your customer loyalty history. It is deeply unfortunate that a long-standing customer relationship was handled this way. I am sharing this strictly to help other prospective buyers protect themselves and ask the right questions before buying. Below are pictures of estimates from a different Subaru dealership and a 3rd party that both say Quality was wrong and that my car failed a basic Vehicle Safety Inspection and is not legal to drive.
