My turkey club was delicious. The bread must have been homemade. It was fluffy, light, soft and thick cut. The bacon was crispy and the turkey was nice too. My husband's Italian combo was weird. It had pickles, olives, jalapeños, and italian dressing on it. Sort of an Italian salad on a sandwich more than a traditional combo. He wasn't a fan. Last summer when we came to East Dorset for horse show, The Works was our favorite. Unfortunately the slow service and bad attitudes from the shop chased us away. This year we discovered Zoey's. What a great find! The service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious. The parking situation is much better than the other shop. Ordering online is super easy. Price is a little bit high. $15 for a sandwich, $11.50 for a grilled cheese. However when there aren't many choices in Manchester, Zoey's is definitely worth the price. Highly recommend! read more

Had high hopes for this place but horrible experience. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with bacon, only to be immediately put off by the overwhelming smell of stale vegetable oil. The wrap itself wasn't edible. The whole experience felt like eating something that had been sitting out too long, and the oil smell and taste made me absolutely sick to my stomach. My husband ordered a BLT with chicken, and unfortunately, his experience was just as disappointing. The chicken was dry and tasted old, far from the quality you'd expect from a place charging premium prices. For two sandwiches and chips, we were shocked to see a bill of $50. The food was nowhere near worth the cost, and we left feeling ripped off and unsatisfied. We won't be coming back. read more

My wife and I rolled into town on a weekend getaway and we were hungry. Zoey's was packed but we figured that was a good sign. The whole experience was excellent. The gentleman taking the order was pleasant and professional and the kitchen staff put together a perfect sandwich. I had the roast beef, bacon, and cheddar on their homemade white bread. Very tasty and a great portion. They threw in homemade chips and pickles. I added an oatmeal peanut butter cookie, it was absolutely huge and very delicious. My wife enjoyed her salad. Stopped by Zoey's with my partner on the way home from VT! I ordered the Turkey club and a cup of minestrone soup. He ordered a NJ breakfast sandwich (Taylor ham, egg & cheese). He loved his sandwich! Mine was also pretty good, except for the mushy wilted lettuce which really put a damper on the taste. I'd highly recommend getting this sandwich on a different type of bread since the white was a bit floppy and subbing out the lettuce, unless it's fresh. The minestrone soup was mediocre, not my favorite but good for the moment. A few cons were: Mediocre wait time ~15 minutes for 2 sandwiches & a cup of soup. Good for a counter service deli, however, if you are not a big bread eater do order your sandwich on a wrap. They sandwich artists will offer you plenty of options. The female that works the register at checkout is not super courteous but she tries to be friendly. Our party had the egg salad (8 of 10) the buffalo chicken (9 of 10) and a chicken salad (7 of 10). They refuse to toast their bread which is a shame because certain sandwiches work better toasted. If you get a full bread sandwich it can be split between two folks so you can both enjoy the carb rush. A great place for late lunch. I am not sure if they BYOB as they don't sell alcoholic beverages. I would go back and get a wrap. read more

This year, when we went to Zoey's I was so excited to bring my boyfriend for the first time. The ordering system was strange - they used to make your sandwich right in front of you and you told them what you wanted on it. Now you order at a cashier, and it's MUCH slower to get your food. They no longer have the side dishes they once had (pasta salad, potato salad), just the drinks in the fridge and some bakery options. The prices have absolutely SKYROCKETED. Used to walk out paying $16 or $17 MAXIMUM after tip... this time, my sandwich didn't come with the homemade chips and pickle I once got, and for two of us with regular deli sandwiches, two drinks, and a small cup of corn chowder, before tip was $50.... Again no pickle, no chips. Nothing. The quality of the meat has definitely gone down, and there was less meat on my sandwich. This was all disappointing. As a long time lover of Zoey's Deli, I won't be returning next year. I'm bummed. Can't justify it. read more

Awesome Deli!! We went to Zoey's Double Hex down the road the day before we visited the Deli. They served the homemade bread from the deli and they told us about it. We wanted to see if they sold the bread separately so we came the next day on our way out of town. Yay! They do sell the amazing bread, but we only could buy loaves of marble rye and one of wheat bread. We were happy to buy day old bread for $1 and then we got sandwiches for the road. Amazing! My sister and I chose the roast beef special on marble rye and the ham and cheddar on the honey oat. The Ham and cheddar was to die for.. ham, cheddar, snappy honey mustard, and sliced green apples on the amazing honey oat bread! Omg. The roast beef was stellar as well but I would have preferred maybe a horseradish mayo instead of the aioli that was on it. But even so it was sooo good.
