We actually got scared a few times from people jumping out at us. They did get rid of the ballpit. However, if you are claustrophobit be warned there is an area you walk through that gets tight. My sister and others behind her were freaking out telling us to walk faster. It was actually a lot of fun. We picked up our t-shirts at the end. They had some cards for the escape room to get a discount. There was a sign that said "ask me how to save 50% off" for the escape room. They also have a little shop area for drinks and food. They're definitely putting money back into the place to get better props, add more scares, and they're adding attractions. The new Museum is just that, a walkthrough of horror movies with props, pictures, and tributes. The forest is great, the path is obvious, and way better than last year with the actors filling their roles well. Outside in the common area they have a fire barrel when it's cold out to stand by and keep warm, plenty of portapotties, cover to stand under to protect you from the weather while waiting for the attractions. Cannot wait to see what's different next year. This is the one place we will keep coming back to, they actually try to spread out groups (they can't help if people catch up to you, though). Every other haunted attraction crams people in like sardines to rake in the revenue, which ruins the scares. This place doesn't and as long as they keep that up, we'll keep coming back!

The Scream Machine is a scary fun haunted attraction located in Taylor Michigan. It's located in a…read moremall which allows for easy parking and space for an indoor line queue. This attraction is wheelchair accessible. It takes about 20 minutes or so to go through the attraction. They also have two mini escape rooms at the end for a small up charge. The Scream Machine does a great job of keeping you on your toes. They don't really give you any time to relax, it's constant scare after scare. The actors work really hard! I was also impressed by the staff here, especially when I realized the person I had been in contact with about visiting was not only running the door but also helping guests with frightened children so that the kids wouldn't have to go inside. I love the sense of community. The Scream Machine does a good job with sets, props and costumes. They purge the line well so you don't end up stuck in a conga line. I had a lot of fun going through.
