Looking for a unique dinner spot to try Yelp pulled up the zombie bar and grill. Menu on line looked good so thought we would give it a try. They have not updated on line menu and has new kitchen owner. With very limited items. Good drinks and we did share an order of fried pickles/Jalapeños with ranch dip. They where crispy and delicious. This is a local bar with lots of regulars. Pool tables and a large outside patio.

Current Menu, grill open till 11 or last order.

Great vibes, good food, lovely service from Sabrina amazing atmosphere! Music box allows anyone to play, even from your phone

Outside eating area in the compound. Great place for a large party or sanctuary, lol.

Great food & happy hour prices. Bartender was great as well. 3rd stop on our pub crawl.

Great atmosphere! Relaxing and fun with a wonderful staff. Our first time there and we'll be back for sure. Food was good. They keep it simple and tasting great. If you want "just some good food" give them a shot. From the outside you might think bar but instead you'll find a little of everything.

The special burger and fries for $5, amazing, great taste in the meat,

The food was amazing, we had a special burger fir $5, and it included fries, the meat so well season and the bread was like sour bread dough, the fries were season and very crunchy. The zombie balls were sausage, breaded a d fried with house queso, and the wings were delicious and crunchy.

Albuquerque, NM band named Beard. 5/9/15

When I visited Zombiez, a nice bartender named Andrea served my father and I for his first beer in 4 years.

But here again it's great for those that don't want to socialize I suppose. The order out was super busy (door dash, Uber eats orders) the employees were hustlin. All and all a nice blast from the past. Food was fair for a taco and queso; a solid Torchy's situation.

About 9am, I walked in to the ordering desk and needed a minute to view the menu, as I had never…read moreeaten there before, the lady was seemingly irritated with needing to give me time to find something to order. Once order was placed, I filled my cup with unsweet tea and it was soured. For the sake of pure awareness, I let the lady know about the finding and she further tasted it but didn't find it unpleasant. Mind you, I have ran a restaurant on my own and have worked in the restaurant industry since high school.... I know what bad tea tastes like. I make a new drink choice and move on, not the end of the world with 15 other drink choices available!! Once my food arrived and I'm half way through eating, she proceeds to come to the table in a very offensive manner asking "Well would you like me to make you new tea? What do you want me to do?" At this point, I was shocked at how she approached me and did not have much response other than "It's alright, I got something else to drink, thank you." So I finished the meal, go to top off with lemonade before leaving, and the manager/owner hurries over and says "No, No! That is not lemonade, just the concentrate!" In my mind I think to myself "umm, sorry Sir, I didn't know that. I thought that the "Hours of Operation 8am-10pm" on the door meant that this place was fully functioning and in service within the hours that you have posted. The entire time I was in this restaurant, the workers were refilling and setting up for the day..... the place was not to par within their "Hours of Operation." Will never return!!!!!

While it is counter service, the staff was attentive even when seated, they were helpful and friendly while ordering, and they even seemed to be having a good time doing their jobs well. I had the imposter with breaded mushrooms. Super crispy Cremini mushrooms with great crunch but the rest was kinda meh, romaine and drizzle of sauce and balsamic. At least with the pickled onions there was a little palate tease. Also tried the Al pastor with jackfruit. Opted for this version on a salad and it's a whopping serving size. Hearty serving of jackfruit with plenty of sauce and dressing. Had nice little nibs of some crunch too. Service was super, super nice. I'd call the inside dive-ish. Totally relaxed and chill ambiance. I'll be back to try more items! My one dislike was that I don't care for the balsamic drizzle on either dish... just doesn't pair well with these flavors. Side of pineapple was yummy to balance the heaviness of both dishes.
