There were 2 guys going around the tables playing music and it felt very uncomfortable how they were right in the personal space of the people seated at the ends. It didn't feel like the performers were very comfortable either. Husband ordered a steak medium rare, but it came out WELL DONE. Lady in the party next to us had to send her steak back to the kitchen not once, but TWICE. We are not high maintenance people. This is just a touristy place where the staff have to churn a high volume of customers each day. So quality is probably going to fall to the wayside. Also, I got the beef tips and mashed potatoes which comes with 2 sides. I got the hatch chile creamed corn, and the steak tomato and onion. The creamed corn was BLAND and the steak tomato with onion was just a raw tomato with a dash of salt and pepper and 3 rings of RAW PURPLE ONION. I thought the tomato would be blistered and the onion grilled???!! And the kicker was that the waitress gave us the wrong receipt for our order. (Which yes, when you're serving so many different tables, chances are you're going to have mix ups). Other than that I really like the place. It's old Diner style which I really enjoy. I got a surprisingly early start for me and got there shortly after opening which is 10 AM. Unfortunately they didn't have any breakfast choices but their special of the day was catfish so I ordered that. The catfish was wonderful. Not overly salty like so many places. Perfect flavor, perfect coating, comes with one slice of white bread, a pile of delicious homemade french fries, not frozen. The ladies who own it/run it were very nice. If there was any drawback at all it was just at the table seemed a bit tacky like it still had stickies on it even though she wiped it as soon as I sat down. Their prices are very reasonable for what you get and they have daily specials. I took a picture of the specials board and posted it for your information. The portion they gave was very generous and I had leftovers to bring back. I asked if they had any desserts and she said they used to serve desserts but not enough people ordered them so they stopped making them. No sense wasting food if people aren't buying it. I don't usually order a dessert but I just had a feeling this is a place that would have really good ones. There is a thrift store I like up in that section of town so I will probably try to go again and hit up both at the same time. Do I recommend it? Definitely.

After placing our pickup order the confirmation text came through and instructed us to pick up at Denny's :/ I felt a little tricked since nowhere on the burger den site mentioned it was an extension of Denny's. After picking up our food and getting to our hotel next door, we started eating and my chicken burger tasted good (they forgot the sauce - but oh well) but the other double cheese burger was totally raw inside and the onion rings that we ordered was only like 5 of them. Then when I saw she was winding up for a second sneeze I made the mistake of looking and watched a huge snot rocket exit her nose. This is in an environment around food and drink. And she is the only one working so you get to have your food served by someone who hasn't washed their hands after sneezing. I had a IPA (my go to), which calmed my nerves after being informed of three hour delay. The sandwich took 15 or 20 minutes to come out. Just a sandwich , no chips or a pickle. The sandwich was okay tasting but not worth $10. I can't say whether or not I would eat there again but if in my power I would avoid stopping here before a flight.
