I called numerous times over the month and they kept giving me the run around. Finally I said I want to close my account and want to withdraw my funds and they said they couldn't give me my money back and that they will send the check back to the bank it was drawn on. WTF!! I asked for proof and they said they couldn't give me anything stating that the funds will be returned to the bank it was drawn from. This sounds so fishy!!.PLEASE BEWARE THIS BANK IS FULL OF CROOKS. I WILL BE TAKING THEM TO COURT. Unfortunately to post this review I have to give a star. They are not even one star worthy. There is a GOD and all those involved in a stealing over 4k from a single mom will reap what they sow!!!

It took me 30 minutes to retrieve my "good funds" from this bank due to incompetent management with unnecessary inquiries about me and my account. I have been a customer of this bank for over a year with money flowing in and out constantly. The clowns in PNC asked about my DL, my deposit history - fine However some nosy DEI hire had the audacity to ask what the withdrawal was for. This is clearly overstepping the banks legitimate interest in verifying my accounts and none of their damn business! I should have told them I was purchasing a Bordello! If you are not a customer of PNC, look elsewhere for better depositary institution. If you are a customer of PNC, and not tied to them with automatic deposits and withdrawals leave this nosy bank run by incompetent's and DEI personnel.

When I inquired about the reason, the 5-day hold changed to 13 days. That only happened because I made two trips back to the bank to inquire. Even though the payor bank had cleared the check many days prior, and PNC acknowledged that they knew that information, PNC still held onto the check. Despite several hours of effort, I never received a reason for the delays, excepting of course, that my comments had been noted. Of course, I closed the account. The employees are wonderful, kind and helpful but the impression I get while visiting is of embarrassment on behalf of the bank. I DO NOT like the feeling I get when my bank acts like you are visiting a prison, what's next? Armed guards with machine guns? Sad and disheartening.

We unfortunately didn't like either BBVA or PNC as much due to extra fees and slower transfer times, so we decided to close our account. Unfortunately we ran into some trouble with PNC's mobile support in the process, so we finally visited the branch for help. We were super thankful that the branch was able to get everything smoothed out. I initially worked with Ruben who was fantastic! He was very patient and did not give up until we found a solution for my problem. He was also very friendly, welcoming, and easy to work with. During our second visit, we additionally worked with James and Christian who were great as well. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about helping us. I would easily give 5 stars for the service at this branch. The only reason I am giving a 4 star review is because PNC as a company seems to have processes that slow things down and make things more difficult for both their employees and customers. Both visits took quite a bit of time, at no fault of the branch employees. PNC processes required them to make calls, wait on hold, and go through multiple hoops for support.

I went inside the bank to deposit a check (my last name is different than what's on my account - maiden), which I've done plenty of times previously, I just show my ID and SSC and everything is fine. Today, as I walk in the two front bankers were busy and there's this guy just sitting in the back watching them. I'm HUGE on customer service so, this offended me. Why would you not try and help other bankers? It's 9am, you've just opened the branch and customers are already waiting for extended periods of time? No. I then go to the counter and ask if I needed to make my transaction through the drive thru or if he could help me then. He stated, he'd need my marriage certificate and some more docs to change my name on my account. THATS NOT WHAT I WANT TO DO. I simply want to deposit my check. He refused and told me, I could try and put it in the ATM but it'll likely get kicked back. His name is Roberto Tapias. I'm not sure if he's a BBVA employee or PNC, but if this is the route that the bank is going in, I will not be banking there much longer.
