Orders are taken at the counter, they provide you with a number marker, and servers will attend to your table when the orders are ready. This took a bit of time, but for a Saturday night with our big party they did pretty well. We filled up the wait time with hookah, taking photos in the beautiful patio, and socializing. The women's bathroom was spacious and clean, with a full-length mirror for outfit checks. There is an indoor smoking room as well, for the more kick-back "don't-bother-me" sessions. I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at Sultan Kebab in Livermore…read more I ordered a shawarma salad and specifically avoid eating beef because it is against my religion. Unfortunately, I was served beef anyway. On top of that, the salad was spoiled. Shortly after eating it, I became extremely sick and started vomiting repeatedly. I called the restaurant to let them know what happened, but no one responded or made any effort to address the situation or follow up with me. Serving someone meat that goes against their religious beliefs is a serious mistake, and serving spoiled food is unacceptable. I hope the restaurant improves its food safety practices and pays closer attention to customers' dietary and religious restrictions so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
