Items such as a Sneakoscope, Chinese Fortune Sticks, Inflatable Tongue, Extendable Ears, Screaming Yo-Yos, a Boxing Telescope, Fanged Flyer, Pygmy Puff, and Shrunken Heads can be found here. Zonko's storefront is pretty cool with the moving wizard's chess set and the jokester things you could imagine Fred and George picking up. It's actually now the exit to Honeyduke's, so it's just a store front, but it's still worth looking at and taking everything in. It's also a stop you can go to for some interactive wand magic. read more

Nice adaptation of the joke shop from the book. It's connected to Honeydukes, and incredibly hard to navigate tight aisles with crowds. The high shelves are stocked with every imaginable trick and joke from the books. I liked the Extendable Ear, but not even the diehard HP fans in our group were moved to purchase anything. Funny, because everywhere else at Disney I was parting with my money! Still, a fun visit. read more

Great little shop with a bunch of knickknacks. I could see the kids eyes light up as they scoured the shelves looking at some of the regular gag gifts. They had large ears, inflatable tongues, punching telescopes, and gag candies. Prices were as expected for a major theme park! read more

3 stars only because it's way to freakin crowded!!! and not enough space.. But anyways. I love the theming of the store and the items that they sell. Not a fan of the fact that it blends with the candy shop or that there's not enough space to move when it gets busy. The staff here was incredibly friendly but I did notice that no one was "on the floor" like going around the store...partly because there's no space in there. I bought a few fun items- and "eye ball" for my friend's son and 2 puffball plushes- I cannot for the life of me remember their actual name- on sale 2 for $20 (1 for 14.95) I also got my mom a gag gift for her friend-a bottle of constipation mints! They are really just chocolate. but I thought it was funny. I really enjoyed the window scenes- the puking pastiles and the wizarding chess pieces. This is a great place for gag gifts. The only thing i was a little sad about was that there wasn't too much in terms of items from actual Zonko's store in the book. While I'm happy that Zonko's was included in the Harry Potter World experience, though it was less impressive than the books and movies made it seem like. They have a few selection of items you can also buy elsewhere in Harry Potter World. I got a Pygmy Puff and they announce the adoption through the store which is kind of fun. The store is pretty small and difficult to get around in. Items are super pricey and don't appear to be awesome quality. It's connected to Honeydukes and worth a quick visit for completion's purpose. read more

Zonko's, located in IOA's Wizarding World of Harry Potter, is home to the novelty items, jokes, and toys you've read about in the books and seen in the movies. I don't really have a lot to say about this place. It pretty much is what it is. I think it is a lot of fun, and a number of their items are surprisingly creative and unusual, even given where you are. Nevertheless, it isn't a particularly compelling atmosphere or experience, and if you never came in here, you're fine. Insider tip: Zonko's shares its building and its registers with Honeydukes. If the line to make a purchase is too long at Zonko's, you can always squeeze over to Honeydukes to complete your purchase (and vice versa). read more

Attached with a bit of magical wizardry, Zonko's Joke Shop is the yin to Honeyduke's yang. Once you've stuffed your face with cauldron cakes and peppermint toads, head over and check out the many ways you can prank your fellow wizards. The pigmy puffs were in high demand on my last visit, so go early and with an idea for a name; the owners will declare it to the shop when you decide to adopt one! read more

Zonko's Joke Shop has a ton of neat gidgets and gadgets and is definitely worth checking out for all the different novelty items they have. Another reason to come in is for the pygmy puff declarations they do everytime someone purchases one of those stuffed pink puffs. The cashier rings it up and that rings a bell while announcing, "Attention Muggles! (So and so) has just adopted a pygmy puff and has named it (fill in the blank)! Let's give them a round of applause!" All the good natured muggles in the shop then take a break to serenade your purchase with polite or sometimes rambunctious applause depending on your crowd. It's a nice little gesture that adds to the magic but also takes the sting off buying a 20 dollar tiny stuffed animal that honestly is not that cute. You'll also find my favorite item, U-No-Poo, here and its definitely one of the underrated souvenir/gift items you can get. At only $4.95, you can get this jar of what looks like mint M&Ms and pretend that if you eat these things you'll have a bad bout of constipation. Like the book says, "Why are you worrying about You-Know-Who when you should be worrying about U-No-Poo, the constipation sensation that's gripping the nation!" - Weasley Twins As it is quite small and there's so much more to be covered, here's hoping they expand Zonko's or add Weasley's Wizard Wheezes some time soon. Tip: As Zonko's is directly connected to Honeyduke's if you want to make your purchases from Honeyduke's at Zonko's, that's perfectly fine by the Ministry of Magic (people working there). There's usually more cashiers on that side and you can avoid the long line in Honeyduke's and take the brisk route at Zonko's. read more

Zonko's Joke Shop does not have a lot of selection, but the knickknacks they do have are pretty great. If you want to feel like you stepped into the store masterminded by the genius pranksters Fred and George Weasley, this store dos not do them injustice. They have the joke items mentioned in the book. It could be crowded, but again, the Weasley twins' shop was quite popular also, so even this just adds to an authentic feel. This is a gift shop in the Wizarding world of Harry Potter in Universal Islands Of Adventure. It has all the novelty items that Harry and gang purchased before boarding the train to Hogwarts. This is where you get your every flavor beans and your chocolate frogs. I got some fudge here, it was pretty good. read more

Least liked store here. Looks like the movie, but I found a lot of items in it rather tacky and cheap...meaning, lots of plastic. I could definitely see the least use and usage, as well as value for the stuff in here.... Meaning, squeezable eye balls, u-no-poo pills, Chinese luck sticks (these are like the sticks they use to open your mouth at the dentists), "magic" trivialities The pygmy puffs? $20 and soopa doopa ugly. As Matthew T. said, they do announce it whenever someone buys one, so I guess it makes you feel better about it... My least favorite attraction in all of HPW. read more

Squished indoors with the Honeydukes shop, it has cute products from the books such as Extenable Ears etc but nothing too exciting. Though their were some pills that made you constipated.....I might or might not have picked some up! It's very tiny and things are stacked quite high but there are people to assist. It's difficult making your way to the register though - the line tends to weave around Honeydukes. read more

I gave this 3 stars because I'm a fan and though I loved the atmosphere and originality of the shop, nothing on the shelves caught my interest to buy. Zonko's connects to Honedukes which is always more crowded, but you can hear the merchandise being tested and played with wherever you are in the entire building. Zonko's sells "magical" items and "Muggle" items like Whoopie cushions, chattering teeth, deck of cards, just with brand names from the books, so unless you're a sucker for props with a logo stamped on them, purchase these same things for a $2 at your local dollar store. They also have plush Pygmy Puffs, Sneakscopes, and U-No-Poo from the 6th book (The constipation sensation that's gripping the nation!) which are just M&M's. Again, I'm rating purely on atmosphere, but I saw nothing that I would want to keep as a souvenir. read more

Most entertaining for the Harry Potter Universe, but it's just...welll....stuff. Do you really need an extendable ear with an 80's style mic attached? Probably not. But again, if you come here with kids I'm sure you'll ending up walking out with a bunch of 'stuff.' Also, Zonko's is connected to a candy shop, which charges $10 for ONE chocolate frog. what can i say? you walk in here and you can see why the Weasley twins spent so much time here acquiring swag to piss Filch off. lines were jam packed but i think it served to only heighten the anticipation. i would try to list all the items they sell there but i that would take a week. just know that you'll find various clothing apparel, toys, candies, stationary items and other knick-knacks. there's a lot of hidden/esoteric details that fans would be tickled with: - find the extendible ears - hear the Order's secret discussion i'd tell you where to find them but that would take all the fun out of it. by the way, purchase a Pygmy Puff... it's interesting to see what happens! read more

I expected a little bit more since the movie gave me such high expectation. This place is super tiny, I would hate to be hear when it's crowded. A lot of the merchandises are gimmicky and there's no reference to the Harry Potter world so that was a bit of a bust. There is a lot of toys and nostalgia so that was nice. I really did expected a bit more so I was kind of let down but that didn't stop me from looking in awe. read more

As a massive HP fan, I was stoked to check out Zonko's during our trip to Universal!! While not as cool as described in the books (these chocolate frogs don't hop away...and no fizzing whizby's) it was still very cool to see what could be created in the Muggle world. Mostly, what I remember is that it's small and cramped. I can't imagine maneuvering the tight aisles in the busy season... And I was disappointed that it sells so much mainstream stuff that you could find in any other store. Thought the store and its merchandise would have more elements of fun and whimsy built in as Universal tends to do in their recreations. read more
