The neon rainbow arch in the center of the club was very Insta worthy, and the queens engaged with everyone in the audience. The staff and queens also spoke English, so it was easy to enjoy ourselves without worrying about communication. The adjoining dance floor, DJ, and go go cages in the next room were fun too, and this was a great place to spread out, dance, and enjoy the second bar. It was also very easy to get an Uber home after our night out as the bar is located in the heart of the Zona Romantica, and is easily identifiable.

The day is more mellow with food + drink specials with many people enjoying their outdoor set up with tables and chairs overlooking the street. Located across from Mr. Flamingo's they have incredible music that can be heard from both entrances, usually with a line forming out of the corner side as the night goes on. We passed through during the day, but attempted to pop in for a bit on a Friday night and the wait was just too wild... Slow moving line. The staff and security seem friendly, reasonable prices and fun decor. I've been to the CC Slaughters in Portland and was this years old when I realized they had a location in Zona Romantica - in similar fashion one side is more casual bar hang and the other is full blown nightclub with top 40 pop, latin favorites and lots of nostalgic dance throwbacks. If you're looking to dance until the sun comes up CC Slaughter - PV is the place to be. Dope DJs, drag galore, occasional go-gos, and great bartender pours. During huge event weeks like Beef Dip the party is just as much outside as it is on the end, but getting a beverage of choice might take a hot minute.

Except for one older guy (a relative term) who kept changing his seat presumably to see if he could get a better view of the passing beef. The bartender was a bit lethargic as he waited for the ice machine to be ready before offering their signature drinks. Jamie ordered the MX$130 Mr. Flamingo, a tantalizing tango of rum, banana liqueur, and cranberry juice. Get off your Clydesdale and realize you're traveling in someone else's country. It's not their responsibility to make sure you are pampered because you failed to research the location to which you traveled. UGH. Anyway, this bar is awesome! You go up a set of mildly janky wood stairs (don't worry, there is a railing!) up to the first floor of the bar. This is what I call the Video Bar section. They boast proudly that there isn't any WiFi so guess you better learn to socialize! There is a medium-sized bar to fill the area, bar stools on the outside railing overlooking the Malecon, and you can basically choose the music/videos you want to watch. Keep going up the stairs and you'll find yourself in the swankier live music, sofa, stripper pole section of the bar. Here is where you go to see the bands play while sitting in a somewhat comfortable sofa or on barstools, or if you prefer, take a twirl on the pole. Maybe you'll make enough pesos to go buy another insanely affordable cocktail. The owners make a point to greet you and make you feel welcome when they are at the bar, and you can't miss walking by with that cool mural on the roll-up door. Wraparound seating, string lights and gorgeous murals...this courtyard is where we spent more of our time while at Anonimo. We were here for the cocktails of course, so we hit the main floor first, then made our way up to the third floor before settling in the outdoor courtyard. Drinks here are standard beer and cocktails. Pricing is great, as with most places in the area. While are not cash only, they do highly recommend cash and have a 500 pesos limit for credit card usage. If you are only have a drink or two, you may not be able to hit that, but we just put our groups first round on the same tab and were able to make do with no issues. Service was friendly and welcoming, space was fun, open and distinctly PV. Overall, we loved it and will certainly be back on future visits!

It's a multi-story bar lounge to hang and enjoy some great cocktails as well as some amazing music and music videos from all over. They closed a little earlier than normal the night we stopped in, a bit surprising for a Saturday night but definitely still enjoyable since we closed the bar out on the patio of the top floor overlooking the street with two solid drinks. Our bartender was really easy going offered for us to pick a few videos but one of the customers was on a role so we just let them have it - only a little off after they started skipping videos. The entire layout is very fun, definitely watch you step and your head if you're tall like me and the novio. Definitely a great spot to wrap up the night and/or start it off. The second level has this amazing wide patio deck with a beautiful mural. Definitely need to hang there a bit next time. We only had one minor issue with change here, but it got resolved really easily. Everyone we met was kind, friendly and welcoming even the person living their best life as the impromptu video dj of the night shot after shot. And one tip that I didn't think through upon bar hopping in Puerto Vallarta is if you do not have your ID with you, the bars will not take or charge your credit or debit card.
