This facility does a great job hiring really quality trainers (Donna, Jillian, Kody, Melanie just the awesome ones I've had the honor and pleasure of working with so far) that genuinely care about their clients and fur attachments (babies). It's made these classes invaluable and let me tell you some reasons why ... - your fur babies get trained via the knowledgeable, incredibly patient trainers training YOU, the parent (handler) - the social environment with other dogs and people around WHILE your baby gets trained by what you learn (they get used to all the distractions like in the outside world) as they are learning and it becomes a norm for them and helps with less skiddish behavior and able to focus better even with distractions - the variety of classes ... from beginner puppy to advanced levels and fun classes like different Agility class levels and even Pilates and playgroups for different sizes and personality types of dogs - did I mention the awesome trainers? They are always willing to answer your questions and eager to help in whatever way they can. This I signed up for the VIP program and honestly was a bit hesitant at first because of the price. But it really has been money so well spent. Don't get me wrong ... you have to put your time into it too in doing what you learned in class while at home and really thru-out any time you are not in class but talk about setting your dog up for success! It helps ease a lot of frustration between you and your dog when you help them understand you and you understand them so much more thru the bonding in this process of learning. I cannot speak highly enough of this Zoom Room location! When my dog was a puppy we tried a different location and didn't have a great experience so we stopped going and focused on private training sessions and I worked with him at home. I knew though he needed to work on obedience with other dogs around as that is where he struggled. I was hesitant to try a Zoom Room again but my goodness I'm so glad we did! We've done a total of five classes and it has become the highlight of our week! Maple adores going to class and it's helped him so much with just learning to be calm when around other dogs and put his focus on me. We've mainly taken from Donna and I love that she really gives individual attention and will adjust what you're working on to your dog's ability level. We even have tried agility and he LOVED it!! I hadn't seen him that happy and excited in a long time. We will definitely be going back week after week for a very long time. My dog Banjo and I have been coming for almost 4 months and although my dog is still a puppy, he has really transformed into a good doggie citizen. We have taken a dozen classes mostly with Donna and Jillian and they have been soo patient and so informational in how to handle our rambunctious puppy. They're just great at their job and give helpful tips on how to manage our puppy's emotions and behaviors. And you'll never believe how helpful the playgroup classes are especially if your dog goes to daycare, you and the trainer are able to course correct as "bad" behaviors happen, that class really helped us. I've been taking my pup to zoom room for a while now and love it! Agility is our favorite because my pup gets run around and it's fun for me to learn new handling methods. It's mentally and physically challenging and fun for both of us. The teachers do a great job of giving suggestions to be successful. We have also tried obedience and calm down classes and have learned a lot there too. The variety of class times throughout the week is fantastic for my irregular schedule. There's always at least 1 or 2 classes I can fit into my week. We've mostly been taking Donna and Kody's classes and love it! Jillian and Melanie are also fab. You really can't go wrong. Ripley had a great experience in the Shy Small Dog Playgroup tonight led by Jillian. Jillian showed me how to let Ripley move towards the other dogs and call her back when it got to be too much for her. When she got overexcited, Ripley took a time out outside the play area to calm down before re-entering. Jillian was clear with her instructions, patient with Ripley and encouraging to me. Chris happened to be there and helped out a bit with his expertise as well. He suggested the long lead and this took worked well. What a positive and helpful experience for my shy but barky little dog. We will definitely be back for another playgroup. read more

Been a member for about month and a half with my 2 year old furry friend. Joined at their 1 year anniversary celebration and met Donna (trainer). She conducted a orientation class that my dog, Maggie enjoyed. By the end of the day I joined the program with a 12-pack of classes. Since then I have had the pleasure of working with a few of their trainers: Melanie has been the best Obidence trainer.. Showing Maggie and I how to learn and work together. She is so positive and encouraging with the dogs in the class. Graduating us to Advance Obidence . Loved Melanie's white board for the class especially when there are a lot of dogs in the class. Jillian, a welcoming and positive trainer, who helped us with the 'tube' in Intro to Agility.. She made it a game. We have enjoyed all of their trainers during the "train the handler" experience.. How to work with your dog especially thru Intro to Agility with Jaime.. Not to make it fearful for the Tube. I visited the Zoom Room with the impression it was like an indoor dog social club. Unfortunately I was disappointed. This is a training facility for your dog. Not a play day arena. But I would recommend them for training purposes, they seem to know what their talking about & the facility is very clean. Lot's of treats to choose from too. read more

Zoom Room is amazing! We've taken our golden retriever puppy to Pup+, Private Training and the Large Breed Playgroup sessions so far. All of them have been fun, rewarding, and hugely helpful! Our little guy is still learning the ropes (he's a handful) but the friendly trainers (Jaime, Donna, Jillian, Melanie and Kody) have made the journey a fun one. Trainers follow a set program. Good for learning some puppy "tricks" but unfortunately I think my golden needed more one on one. He learned the tricks but once another variable is introduced, all goes ... away. Probably not zoom room fault, but I feel the training is good within its limits. Our family is so glad that we found Zoom Room, Lakewood. In less than a year, they've transformed the way we approach training with our four dogs. A big part of that is thanks to Donna, who has worked with all of our dogs at Zoom Room, but has had a huge impact on Little Guy in particular. Little Guy had confidence issues, and watching his transformation has been incredible. He's gone from being timid and unsure to confidently navigating agility courses and improving his obedience. I was excited to have found a training place for my 3 month old puppy. I signed up for their free 30 minute orientation. Left work early so I can make it to the 5:30p session. It was pretty empty (4 staffs including owner, 2 clients waiting for their puppy class to start and myself along with a couple for the orientation). Checked in was good since I was about 10 minutes early. Didn't know what to expect. I wasn't asked for paperwork required during sign up or from the email confirmation, even though I asked if they needed it. However, the couple turned theirs in and was checked by one of the staffs. As I sat waiting for 5:30p, I went through work emails to pass time. I sat next to the couple waiting for the orientation. The owner walked up to them and started a conversation. Never acknowledged me even when I turned to make eye contact and smile. All this continued to happen 5+ minutes into the orientation session. I patiently waited not wanting to interrupt his "presentation." I was hoping either he or his 2 staffs next to him would say something to me. Nothing as if I was invisible even with eye contact. They all knew I checked in and saw me waiting. Because I wasn't worth their service, I walked out. Considering they just opened 2 weeks ago, you'd think good customer service would be important! And I was really hoping to give them my business since my puppy really needs training. Thank you Zoom Room but I'll take my puppy elsewhere. read more

My blind 15 year old dog has benefitted from Pup-lates classes by strengthening her legs and helping her with balance. The instructors spend one-on-one time with me to modify activities and equipment. My Great dane Bella began to be reactive with people, dogs, even my son's after the passing of my Bullmastiff 9 months ago. We started training at Zoom Room 4 months ago. Donna, Kobe, Kathryn, and other trainers were so patient, kind, encouraging that my girl is able to go on walks, the park, and by elementary schools while kids are playing and not react. She has progressed 90%. I have gone to other trainers in the past but their kind, gentle approach is amazing. We have mostly been doing the calm down classes with Donna, and Bella just loves her.
