We love Zoom Room! We needed a bit of help with our rescue who's got some reactivity issues. He has learned so much and really seems to love going there. Mike and the crew there really do a great job from the first evaluation to group it private classes. I'd absolutely recommend this place. I'm pretty sure Scooby would too.

What a wonderful clean place to bring your dog for group training plus puppy play date! Everything is controlled so you know your dog won't be attacked and to socialize your puppy to other puppies. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable makes it's so enjoyable to take your dog.

I cannot say enough good things about Zoom Room Long Beach! Jen, Mike, and Alison are all amazing trainers and treat your pup as their own. The positive reinforcement training style that they teach here works really well with our Pembroke Welsh Corgi Pichi - who has attended Zoom Room since he was a tiny puppy. We've never been interested in dog obedience classes that teach training using e-collars, we feel that they are cruel and dogs shouldn't be trained out of fear. With Zoom Room, our dog gets spoiled and rewarded with high value treats whenever we take him here each week. One of our favorite parts are the puppy playgroup available on weekends for about 30 minutes, it makes us so happy to see our dog enjoying playing with his classmates after a good training session. A lot of dog parks in Long Beach are filled with owners who have lack of training on recalls which could lead to an injury and we would rather avoid that by attending a play group here once a week for a super affordable price. We feel at ease that there's trainers present to maintain balance and fairness in the play group at all times. Our Pichi loves to play rough with bigger dogs and this play group is perfect for him because he gets to socialize with different breeds and sizes. If you're considering a training class or play group for your pup - this is your sign to give this family owned local business a shot! You won't regret it, we plan to be lifelong customers at Zoom Room Long Beach.

This place is AMAZING!! First, you can't ask for a better price when it comes to training. We got the 4 month pass as we have both an older dog (9yo) and a new puppy. I also appreciate that it seems like this place won't graduate the older dog from Obedience unless he ACTUALLY meets some criteria. I can't tell you how many group training classes we've been to which just graduated my older dog without him actually learning that much. So, that's great. But honestly the real reason I find this place so incredible is that when my puppy was teething, this place legit helped my partner and I have tools to train our puppy to stop biting us, and ultimately saved us a lot of tears and stress. In fact, since we both work from home, we weren't going to bother crate training our puppy, but the trainer there (Alison) gave us sage advice and told us that we really ought to crate train. Thank god we did!!! Honestly anytime he gets super bitey we use the crate for enforced naptime, and I appreciate this place so much for this useful tool. I would happily give them all my money, because they deserve it!

Love Zoom Room. The trainers are amazing and helpful. My pup enjoys going to class too. They had a Halloween party for the dogs. It was great.

We needed a flexible and safe space to bring our puppy to while visiting our family. The zoom room has been a wonderful resource for our several week visit and allowed us lots of options to continue to train and socialize our puppy. We have grown so much and we are sad we don't have a zoom room where we live . We will make sure to add this to places we will be back to on our next visit.

Zoom Room Long Beach is our favorite place to bring all our dogs. Mike and Jen are so wonderfully friendly and made us all their part of their family. All the staff are fun and knowledgeable on how to teach us to handle our dogs and there are loads of fun classes to keep our pups entertained. So glad that we found this safe and fun environment for our dog family.

The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. The place is always clean. The prices are very reasonable too! My puppy, Biscuit, tried one class and loved it so much. We try to go once a week and practice at home. Zoom Room LB sets you up for success! This is a must for every dog owner.

I've never taken any of my puppies to a professional trainer before, but my new pup is special - a Springer spaniel - who ideally I'd like to teach to hunt and also do live rescues and cadaver detection. This company stood out among the rest as a truly professional training option with lots of continuing education options for agility and even service dog training. This is NOT your average big box training with minimum wage teenagers telling your dog how to sit and stay. This is an affordable and value-oriented business. We will be life long members! Love the puppy playgroups too! Well-controlled by team members. HIGHLY recommend.

Such a great place! I love taking my dog in for private gym. Jen & Mike are kind people who care about their business and customers. My dog gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. He enjoys running through the space and playing with all the toys. Love it!

My boyfriend and I took in our cattle dog, Ollie, as a stray almost 4 months ago. Quick background: Ollie was found tied to a fire hydrant outside my work. Ollie is the sweetest boy, however is very reactive to other dogs and is a bundle of energy that presents as endless jumping and nipping. We have a senior Saint Bernard at home in which Ollie has been too rough/aggressive with her, even when our Saint Bernard makes it known that she doesn't want to be bothered. We tried water sprays at home and other attempts at training to no avail. We began to feel helpless as our biggest concern was his relationship with our Saint Bernard, as it got to the point where we felt we had to consider rehoming him. During our session with Brad, we immediately saw results which had us dumbfounded. Like other reviews have mentioned, his technique is not "mean," but is a firm mindset that Ollie requires. All the while, Brad emphasizes when to correct your dog and when to praise him, while stressing the fact that these techniques are not made to scare your dog, but rather establish a leader mentality while simultaneously letting the dog know that you provide love and safety. Of course, like any training, one can only be successful when carrying over these learned techniques at home, but Brad left us feeling confident and ready to continue the work. Even when we got home today, we already had seen a shift from Ollie. As for Brad himself - he is very approachable and really looks to understand both the dog and all the circumstances that come with them. You could really get a sense of how personal he is. We definitely recommend him. Thank you so much, Brad!

We definitely recommend Andi!…read more We originally reached out to Andi for consultations regarding both of our Maltipoos, Kiki and Coco. During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and ethical trainer who truly puts dogs' well-being first, we wholeheartedly recommend Andi and Diamond Dog Training.

Our main issue was walking and pulling on leash. After our six-week training course, our pups improved tremendously.
