I love the Zoom Room in Trophy Club! Their individualized approach to dog training is just what I was looking for. Their initial one-on-one assessment is a great way for the trainers to get to know your dog (and you) and to figure out where to begin. The Zoom Room has a wide variety of classes to choose from. Our pup just completed her puppy preschool class. Ivy has learned so much already and looks forward to her classes. The instructors and staff are knowledgeable, helpful and willing to answer any questions we may have. Next week we'll start our new 'puppy obedience plus' class and can't wait to learn even more. The facility has one large space for classes and the number of dogs is limited to 6 to ensure a safe learning atmosphere for all. A little bit of agility work is included in each class for some additional challenges and fun. The puppy preschool class includes an off leash 'play time' for the pups so they get that socialization that's so critical during those early 2-4 months. 10 Stars!!! Started coming April of 2016 after walking out on 2 different Petco trainers, I haven't left the Zoom Room yet. The flexible classes they have are phenomenal, can't make it one day, don't worry, obedience & Agility classes are on weekdays, and weekends. Workshops aren't flexible but you can do private class make ups. I love how you can buy a pack of 5, 10 or 16 pack of classes and they can be used for almost any class or dog in the family. They have a wide variety of training classes, and I love it! I Have 3 dogs, Nana, has done OB2, OB3, CGC test, Therapy Workshop, Therapy Test, as well as Agility 2 & 3 and now in Agility League. Wendy, has done, OB2, OB3, CGC test, Therapy Workshop, Therapy Test, and Agility 2 and enjoys playgroups. Peter, has done, OB2, OB3, Scent Workshop and Private lessons. Also what is really great is being able to rent the Gym for 30mins to beat the Texas weather and be indoors to play with your dog, or practice for an upcoming test or even Agility. Lets not forget Friday Nights, 1st Friday of the month we enjoy Fido&Friends which is BYOB & Dog, sit around drink some wine or soda, great snacks, talk and watch the dogs play for awhile. They also have Agility Games, Kids Zone, Obedience games, and Holiday events too much FUN to handle. Last year we got to walk in the 4th of July Trophy Club Parade. I wish I could give them 6 or more stars. The entire team is great. When Heather noticed in my evaluation that Smokie had a problem with marking. she introduced me to male doggie diapers. They are a god send in dealing with the marking. Vy gave me some very practical and helpful advice to help with the wetting in the dogs recovery suits after their surgery. I am so glad they added the shy dog class and it's so small. With just the 2 of us pet parents and dogs, it's like a semi private class. Vy customizes the curriculum to what the dog needs. Yesterday within 10 minutes she got my Smokie to stop parking at the other dog in class and actually move toward the dog to "investigate". All without any barking. They always answer my 2000 crazy questions. They treat us like family. And they celebrate with me when my Smokie or my Chewie make another milestone in training. You must try agility clases if you haven't, so great for puppies and adult dogs. And they will sleep so much better that night. read more

Showed up for class and was told my shot record was old. My dog is up to date, but I didn't have my records with me. I was told I would still be charged for the class even though I couldn't participate. What??!! Your system shouldn't allow me to sign up if you don't have current records. Or you could at least call. Then you still want to charge my account for the class! I'm done with this place. Terrible way to run a business. read more

They strive to improve every aspect of your dog, and are always accommodating to specific needs and training requests. Cons: the trainer was trying to teach the group of pups a command, which my dog was refusing to do, so I asked the trainer to come help me and she came by , looked at my dog for a second and wrote her off saying my dog was tired (which she wasn't, she was just being a stubborn puppy). Zoom Room is awesome. The instructors are very kind and have very good control on the class. We started going there last year, took a break and now we are back for the obedience training. My pup is a two and half year old golden doodle, very very energetic & on a hyper side in social settings.The classes are helping a lot to keep him focused on me & avoid distractions. The structure of the classes are very clear for each level and you know what to expect when you walk in. Zoom Room has been a fun place for our year and a half year old black lab to learn in a more controlled environment than just out on a walk! We've picked up on new tips each time, and have had a different trainer almost every class we have been to, which I think does keep it fun and you learn a little something different each time. I drive an hour to bring my dog to classes here vs anyone closer to me in Dallas. The group format is excellent for getting your dog to focus in distracting situations and the pace of the class may seem fast but it works really well to not overwhelm your dog and keep them engaged. The instructors are super kind and you can tell they care to have a relationship with every student. I think the price is 100% worth it (i did the 20 class package) and Ive been able to bring home really useful tools to keep the training going. read more

So excited to find a Zoom Room so close to us! I reserved a 30 minute slot of time for private gym time for our little dude yesterday evening for today. $15 for 30 minutes of indoor off-leash play in a brand new, clean facility. We had access to the agility equipment and our pom had plenty of room to run free and get some exercise. We've been to the ATX location once before so we anticipated him being comfortable with the ramps, which he was, but he totally surprised us by running through the mini tunnel, jumping through the tire, and jumping over the...horse jumping thing....I can't think of what it's called, lol. But it has adjustable horizontal poles to jump over. You know what I'm talkin' about! A big thank you to the employee who spent some time with Fred working on these mad skills! This is a great facility. I think they've only been open for about a month so everything is nice and new. The ladies who were there were all very friendly. There is a section at the front where they sell treats, t-shirts, toys, collars, etc. We will definitely be back for private gym time but also for agility and playgroup! Thanks, ladies! read more

They only care for their existing clients. But if they treated potential clients better then those would become existing clients as well! Something to think about. Care about potential clients also and no need to be snippy at them! And make them wait and wait for service when they were trying to spend a few hundred dollars on a dog party. I have 3 dogs who take various classes at Zoom Room. They ALL absolutely love it there. One of my dogs was 7 months old when I got him and had never walked on a leash, socialized with humans (besides minimal contact with his breeder) & had never even left his breeders back yard. He was extremely timid and scared of everything. Under Heather and V's training he has made a complete turn around. He just passed his CGC test yesterday!!! I am beyond pleased with the attention, patience and care the trainers at Zoom Room put forth to help him become the confident and well adjusted dog that he is now. I love Zoom Room. The owner Heather is so good with my dogs. I have 3 dogs with different personalities - Shiba Inu, English Staffy and a rottweiler, and they all seem to love her. My staffy particularly loves spending time there so much that she actually gets sad when we come home. The staff sanitizes the play/training area right before each class, so even puppies that aren't fully vaccinated can enjoy playtime and training in puppy classes. My rottweiler puppy is getting a lot of socializing here. Zoom Room encourages positive training, and the whole staff is so nice and helpful. The prices of classes are more expensive than other training places like unleashed by Petco or Petsmart, etc., but the knowledge the trainers have and the clean facility really make the prices worth. Zoom Room keeps my dogs' tails wagging, so I'll be a regular here. read more

I started at Zoom Room with my 1 year old Chocolate Lab with a goal in mind.... to become a therapy dog and that is all. I wasn't interested in anything else. Heather, the trainer, welcomed us with open arms and treated my dog like one of her own. Now here we are a year later and you can find us at Zoom Room several times a week with continued training, agility, and socializing. Heather is such an amazing person and trainer. This place is great! The owner Heather is knowledgable, helpful, and beyond nice! I brought my new puppy into puppy preschool and he wasn't doing to well with playtime with the other puppies. Heather spotted that it looked like there might be a problem with one of his rear legs. We got our puppy right to the vet. Heather has been so patient with answering my many questions.
