What would make it perfect for spray tanners is a shelf of some kind to place your watch and or jewelry on also a box of Kleenex would be nice I'm hanging my watch on clothing hook now! The booths get so hot. The fans do nothing n I can barely tan 8 of my 12 minutes. The music isn't loud enough which makes it harder to stand there. It is always clean n the staff is very friendly. The lady with the shorter hairi s always helpful. I really wish they never changed my original 8min package. Not once have I lasted 12 min in 5 years lol. I live in Punta Gorda and have been going to Zoom tan now for 15 years mostly in Naples. So when I moved North I have been going to this location on a regular basis. I like it! I have always received great customer service. I always spray tan and the machines are great! My only recommendation is to add the self check in option for monthly members like the Naples location. Because sometimes this location gets backed up with lines to the door and it's not the employees fault. It's because some people are new and have questions and it holds up the check in process. So if you put in at least one self check in to the left of the desk would be helpful like Naples location does. Other than that thanks for keeping me tan and tasty after all these years!! read more

I signed up to tan for the new year. Stephanie at the North Port location was very upbeat and helpful in explaining the membership and choosing a lotion (at 50% off). The stand up tanning bed was nice, and facility was very clean. read more

The woman who runs this store is very rude. She seems old and has darker hair. I walk in the bell goes off no one comes. Finally another lady walks in and the owner finally comes to the counter. The lady behind said hello to owner who gave her zero response. She rudely asked for my number then demanded to see my eye googles. She spoke to me like she was my boss. The lady behind me even mention how rude she was. The tanning beds get super hot they basically just blow hot air back at you which makes me unreasonably red. My favorite zoom tan is the one in Sarasota by 41. If you have to go to this one I'm really sorry. I hope the owners learns some manners she's way to old to be treating people this bad. read more

Went here for a spray tan today and was very impressed with the customer service from Jennifer. She took the time to answer all my questions and explain how to make sure that I got an even tan. Good experience and now I'm ready for Spring with a nice golden tan. read more

This company is lacking in personal customer service. No one at the business fronts can help you with payment options once you sign up. The 800 # is answered by a few customer service gals that cannot access your payment info either. They go around and around in circles without providing resolution's because they are not allowed to. It is fruitless and frustrating when one only wants to address automatic payment options. I would not reccomend giving them your personal or payment information. Once they have it you are locked in with few options. read more

THEY STOLE MY MONEY . I filled out their sheet and gave it to them to let them know I wanted my service cancelled because I was leaving town for the next 6-10 weeks. They told me it would be taken care of . I went to California to care for my dying grandmother and They overdrafted my account and kept charging me and lied to my bank..i told bank of America to block them and alerted them as fraud. My bank failed to do that and these people charged me again. Multiple women got rude and hung up on me ..other employees were snobby little brats who cursed at me laughed and hung up over and over again. Calling me names and laughing. . They were immature and rude. The customer service manager had a country ringback tone. im not kidding. When I got back, my boyfriend called them. Corporate hung up on us only after calling me names and cursing at my boyfriend . I won the case only 5 months after refusing to deposit money into my account because I refused to pay for theft. . How you ask? I got a new debit card so they couldn't charge it again and then the bank found out they were lying because of conflicting statements and inconsistancies. I was finally refunded my money . What's in the dark always comes to the light. Oh and one time , the power went out while I was getting a spray tan and It was pitch dark. I ended up looking ridiculous and streaky and worse than when Ross from friends tried to go spray tanning.. read more

I will admit I've got the best tan from this salon. Unfortunately the rooms are very hot n it's hard to last 12 min cause of the lack of fan power or there is no fan. The manager is very nice but the place is soo strict with rules more than any place ive ever used. I was charged for sessions on my card n cause I didn't have my cell on me they wouldn't let me tan after I drove a half hour there . Even tho I already tanned there twice b4. Ridiculous. U have to bring or buy ur own goggles its mandatory that dont have them for u in the room like other salons. I called headquarters about being charged n not being able to tan n they are no help. It's not the customers fault they are paperless n ut should be told b4 they charge ur credit card. Also if u dont cancel the monthly unlimited they will bill u every month which is not a great policy for the consumer. They do have bottled water n the price is fair if u have ur cell . Also u can barely hear any music which is annoying most places have music in each room or at least loud enough u can hear tanning. U can't hear anything almost n not everyone wants to listen to the same genre of music lol. I agree with the other ratings corporate is terrible I hung up on them cursing as well . They really need to review how they take care of their customers. Btw they dont even give u a towel nothing lol. Every other place gives a towel goggles some deodorant place in Sarasota even leaves a piece of candy lol. The rooms are bare they offer nothing ur lucky if u get a paper towel to wipe ur face cause the beds are unbearably hot as anything . Received a gift card for Christmas in amount of $60. Total of what 3 months of tanning is. I go to gst started and Megan in North Port tells me I can only pay for 1 month from gift card and the remaining $40 needs to be used on lotions well I didn't what lotions my gift card was equivalent of the cost of 3 months so being frustrated I left she told me to call customer service customer service says gee that's too bad no refunds sorry. So I have a gift card for $60 that's never been used and will never go back will never refer anybody to them they are rip off scammers. They had no problem taking the $60 but gets to dictate how I can spend it. Absolutely HORRIBLE read more

I've purchased a one month tanning session on two separate occasions. Each time I was greeted by friendly and informative staff. Each visit has been pleasant and I'm in a tanning room within a few minutes. The facility is always clean. I always look forward to my tanning sessions. read more

negative stars for this company. i cancelled a membership in January due to a move out of the area and no zoomtans being in my new location. i have been charged every month still, and the managers refuse to refund the charges. will NOT use or recommend zoomtan to anyone. read more
