I thought they were a little overpriced but they made her happy, so what can I say. For several xmases and bdays in a row, I got her something from here. They were always pretty friendly. As for the actual facilities: This was the tanning salon of choice for my ex gf. I used to bring her here. Hang out inside and wait for her to be all bronzed. She later switched to Total Tan on the Boulevard, but for quite awhile it was this one, right next to the Eastern European Grocery Store, and she loved it. However, there was some falling out... they wouldn't honour a gift certificate, or something. And some of their machines weren't as good as the others. So I'll give them a 3-star, I support local businesses but it's not the most advanced or spacious salon in town for sure.

My massage therapist, Janine, was wonderful and my mom only spoke positively about her massage therapist, Hannah. I always know a massage is good when I fall asleep... and sure enough, I drifted off for a little spa nap. Mission accomplished! I also loved the quiet room and the showers afterward, which really extended the whole relaxation experience. While I've been to spas across the country with much more extravagant amenities, Woodhouse is a fantastic option for Buffalo. I felt it was very clean, calm, and exactly what you want from a quality day spa. My mom and I both left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and very happy we finally made it happen!
