My dog drooling, due to excessive pain. He NEVER drooled before!

13 hours after having my dog groomed by this company, my dog is drooling, something it never did before. I called my vet and she said this means one of two things: Dog is nauseous or in severe pain. Unfortunately it was the latter. I took my dog to the Emergency Care Animal Hospital only to learn that my dog had a back injury. Vet gave me meds for pain, inflammation, etc, a huge bill, and I am out the door. A day later I notice that my dog is really starting to smell. Hmmmm, he just got a professional grooming so this is odd. The next day, I could feel bumps all over him, even through his thick German Shepherd fur. Took him to the vet again and he is completely covered in weeping sores, due to an allergic reaction to the shampoo that this groomer used. So I call the owner of the company. She assures me that there is no way any of this could be because of something her groomer did. And I said, "but your groomer told me that she "shoved the dog" to get it into the tub from the grooming table. I was met with silence and notified that she would have the groomer call me. Well, I have spoken to the owner twice now, and its been 11 days since this happened and no call from anyone. If not for me calling the owner, there would have been no communication on this issue. She did not offer me a refund, she certainly did not offer to cover any of my vet bills, she did not apologize for my dogs injuries in fact she would only adamantly refuse any responsibility at all. I did not want anything except to be treated with consideration, provided with the brand of shampoo so I could send the info to my vet, and a call back. I had to pull teeth just to get the shampoo information, 11 days later! Then, after all this, she told me they did not want my business in the future, as if I would endanger my dog by enlisting their service ever again! One would think a company like this would use a hypo-allergenic dog shampoo to make sure all dogs are safe, not just most of them. And for the back injury, that is just inexcusable. Now I know why the groomer would not let me in the van to observe. She did not want me to see the rough tactics they use to get the dog to submit to them. See the photos. This was horrible! If you love your dog, do not use Zoomin Groomin of Carolina Beach, NC.

Very Responsive , great service , if you don't have the time , your dog is anxious, your pups not good with crowds , you want that special care . Then give zooming a call and you will pleasantly surprised and you will get back a good looking stressed free dog .

Hi! We do come to Leland. That would be $79 for a bath, blowdry, ears and teeth cleaned, and nails trimmed.

We have a few nanny cams set up for the baby and could see she would spend a lot of time playing with Carly and take her for a long walk. You can really tell she loves dogs. My dog was always more calm at the end of the day.. Being a small breed dog, she was very energetic and you could definitely tell the extra exercise was helping her. Carly even started to shed a little weight! I've since moved out of the area, but whenever I go back to visit friends and family, I still hire her to take Carly out if I have a busy day planned. Carly loves her and gets very excited when we mention the walker (A.J)'s name! I would HIGHLY recommend this service. You won't get better care anywhere else!

We noticed our dogs were restless at night and had tons of energy. Our neighbor told us she noticed the walker was in and out of the house in 10 minutes...and did not take the dogs on a walk. We set up cameras and sure enough..she took our money...left our dogs in the house for 10 hour days..and only let them out back to use the bathroom!! Her visits were 7 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you love your animals - this is NOT the walker/caretaker you want!!!!!!

I brought my 11-year-old dog here for routine vaccinations. At her first visit, I was instructed to…read moregive 1/2 tablet of trazodone prior to the appointment. Three weeks later, for a follow-up vaccination, I was advised to give 1 1/2 tablets of trazodone ... triple the prior recommendation. When I walked my dog onto the scale at this second visit, she weighed 33 lbs. The clinic had recorded her weight at 49.5 lbs from the prior appointment three weeks ago, despite the fact that she does not weigh anywhere near that. Either she was not weighed, or her weight was recorded incorrectly. That evening, she remained incredibly lethargic more than 10 hours after dosing and would not get up for her walk. I contacted an emergency veterinary clinic, whose immediate response to the dosage was, "Oh my, you may need to contact pet poison." I was instructed to closely monitor her and bring her in if symptoms worsened. This morning, I called CBAH to ask what the maximum safe dose of trazodone would be for a 33-lb dog. I was told they did not know and would need to ask the veterinarian. When I pointed out the incorrect weight and resulting overdose risk, there was absolutely no concern expressed and no accountability for any of the errors. CBAH advised me to give a 33lb dog 150mg of trazodone. Medication dosing errors can be so dangerous, especially in senior dogs. Would absolutely not bring your dog here.
