He was personable and information-wise he was exceptional. So based on reviews and speaking with Dan Patton, I was happy with choosing Pampered Paws Hotel and Spa for my puppies which I've used on two occasions. They walk the puppies multiple times daily, let them play and socialize as well as the option to view your puppy via the web. In addition they do have a pick up service if you are unable to drop your puppies off. On both occasions when picking up my puppies they seem extremely happy and calm. They are Covid compliant. The walkers that came to us were wonderful. They respected our home, rules, and always treated our dogs like they were their own. Aylin was normally assigned to our pups. She would always send us great photos and updates from her 30 minute walks/ playdates with the dogs. She took the time to figure out what worked best for our two. The dogs, or The Cheesies as she called them, were always thrilled to see her. Our dog, Reggie, also went to daycare at their facility for a few weeks, but because of his dog reactivity/ easy overstimulation, we decided that utilizing their walking service would be better for him. I loved that they picked him up from home for us. Their services really helped us out and made us not have to worry about how we would get him to and from the facility. Nail trims have always been a huge issue for us, especially at the vet. They would leave his nails too long, and over time the quick kept growing out, turning his nails into literal bear claws. It got to the point where I didn't think we'd ever get them back to a normal, healthy length. I originally found Jess for my labradoodle Mabel and just happen to ask her about my Louie's nails . Not only did she trim his nails as short as safely possible, she did it with incredible gentleness and patience. Louie was calm, comfortable, and completely at ease -- which NEVER happens. But what truly sets Jess apart is her knowledge and care. She's actively working on helping the vein recede over time so his nails can return to a normal length instead of those "eagle talons." We have been using Best Friends for the past 15 years and have never had a bad experience. When we…read moreonly had 2 dogs we used them for both grooming and boarding. Our only groomer has been Megan. She takes the time to listen to how I want my dogs to be groomed and even my rescue maltese, who had been extremely abused, actually enjoys going there. Megan took extra care to become his friend and he and she have become good friends. The work areas are clean and without an odor. They have doggie day camp and there are cameras so you can see what is going on at all times. I also appreciate that every year they require proof of vaccinations which is not always the case with other places we had gone to in the past. They keep their boarding areas clean and we were not allowed to bring anything from home that could contain fleas or ticks. Their hours are great (drop off at 8:00 and pickup by 7:00) which was very appreciated when I was working. Even though they were finished by 1:00, it was never a problem if I picked them up at 6:00. I now have 5 dogs and would never hesitate to bring them. If I had only one suggestion, it would be some kind of loyalty club. They used to have one for boarding (not sure if they still do) but it would be wonderful for grooming. After 15 years, it would be nice to receive something back. Perhaps every 10th grooming is free.
