Cute little zoo stop on our road trip. Kids said this was one of their favorite zoos they've ever visited. I think it just had a nice low key park vibe and lots of opportunities to feed animals. We came to visit Zootah a few weekends ago. I feel like the entry fee was reasonable depending on how long you stay and we bought two bags of duck food which was the perfect amount for our little family of 3. There were ducks galore to feed! My son loved it. At the beginning they were excited to feed and very active in chasing the food, near the end of our time though, they got much more bold and were kind of chasing us which was a little unpleasant. You are only supposed to feed the duck food to the ducks! At the gift shop you can return the empty bags for recycling. The geese were also a bit terrifying, partly because they did have some like teenager geese that they were protective over, we got hissed at a few times. But they were also like wanting duck food so that was interesting. There were more animals than I expected to see, most of which were bird species. We saw eagles, coyotes, a badger, a raccoon, vulture, a fox, cranes, and some other cute deer resembling creatures. The petting zoo is an interesting feature, a few goats, the lambs were cute. But they were eating so we didn't have a lot of interaction time with them. They kind of seemed scared of us a little which made me sad. We also got to see and pet one of the bunnies which was nice for a minute. The zoo is big enough for a toddler to enjoy, but not too big it's overwhelming. It was a super hot day when we went, but there are quite a few shady spots which could help on a less heated day. The gift shop is the same as the entry building and it's cute and small, but fun to check out. If you don't take a stroller, then it's easily avoidable if you don't want to check it out. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with soap and the necessities. I would be happy to stop by again sometime. read more

First time here! I didn't know it existed until a friend told me about it! I brought my 3 year old with me, and he LOVED it! We bought tickets online, along with our duck feed! It was 14.50$ total for the whole experience- totally worth it! The ducks are so friendly! They were eating out of our hands the whole time! We have ducks that live at our house and even they aren't as approachable! The animals were unique, and there's more than you think there would be! There are bathrooms located near the entrance/exit. I appreciated all of the signs indicating what the animals were, their diets, life expectancy, whether or not they're endangered, and more! We had enough duck feed that we ended up having some left over for the ducks at home and our local park! I love that so much! The gift shop was adorable, they had so many cute things for kids, as well as souvenirs for kids and adults alike! I definitely wanted the mug and sweatshirt , but I'll have to snag those next time! I used to go to this zoo all the time growing up and loved it. It's small but a great place to spend an hour or two. I recently decided to visit again, and was incredibly disappointed. The entrance fee is ridiculously expensive for what you are getting ($7). Many exhibits were completely empty and the area was poorly maintained and overgrown. It was disheartening to see how poorly the enclosures were kept and how little effort had been made. It appeared that the most care and effort was given to the petting zoo and gift shop. I would hate to see this zoo go under, but they will lose visitors if they don't make changes! read more

I think the price was a little steep considering the minimum amount of animals . I had seen a previous review saying it was only $2/person... this is not the case anymore. I did like how you could buy duck pellets for only $1. That was really fun for the kids. I did think that the price should be less in the winter because we didn't get to see multiple animals because of it being a colder month (monkeys, turtles, etc). Setting the price aside, it was a clean park and had a good variety of animals, although it did seem like 30%+ of the animals were birds which aren't super interesting to me. I would recommend this place to someone if they like seeing animals, but not somewhere I would feel the need to go to again. read more

Friendly staff. $5 for adults and $4 for kids (I think it's priced right for once it has all the exhibits opened). The kids loved the petting zoo and they were about to feed a reindeer. Be sure to use the restroom prior to coming because the ones here were smelly and dirty. read more

Quaint little zoo, great for little kids. Plenty of shade trees, very quiet and peaceful. Great for an afternoon or evening stroll with the family, just watch out for peacock poop. Zoo has a lot of birds, especially exotic, colorful ducks. But also has smaller mammals to see like porcupines and foxes, and some larger like elk and reindeer. Feeding the deer, fish and ducks is always a highlight. Attached park is nice for picnicking, with a decent playground for the kiddies. Though it could use a few more picnic tables and trash cans. Zoo also has fundraisers throughout the year that are a lot of fun, and most Tuesday mornings they have stories and crafts for young kids at their Wildlife Learning Center. The zoo closed most of the winter. But when it warms up, it's a great place to make memories with the family. read more

My kids and I really enjoy Willow Park Zoo! It is not a huge zoo, but will entertain us for an hour or two and we always see something interesting when we go. Our favorite time is in the late afternoon/evening, when it cools off a bit and we can enjoy the beauty of the area. The grounds are clean, well kept, and they have attractive displays. Lots of beautiful birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. They also have educational programs and I believe you can arrange to have birthday parties in the Wildlife Learning Center (call them to confirm, as I'm not 100% on that) If you are expecting the San Diego Zoo, you won't get it here. But for $2 for adults and $1 for kids, you really can't beat it! They also have a fun event called "Boo at the Zoo" around Halloween. Kids can dress up in their costumes and visit different vendor and activity booths for candy, games, and crafts. Lots of fun! Willow Park is nearby, with lots of space, playgrounds, picnic tables, etc, so you could easily have a picnic before or after enjoying the animals at the zoo. read more

This is really a gem in Logan. It is the perfect way to spend a few fun cheap hours with your family or date. The price of admission ($2 adults, $1 kids) is totally worth it to support the feeding and care of the animals. If you are looking for Hogle Zoo, that is not what you are going to find here. It's more of a small animal rescue. We were excited to see an injured peregrine falcon up close, she was rescued after being hit by a car in Wyoming. It was wonderful to see such a gorgeous bird like that. The handler said that they may be getting more birds in the future. As always, the highlight was feeding the fish and ducks. Make sure to bring lots of dimes! The ducks and geese are so tame, they will eat right out of your hands. We love Willow Park Zoo! read more

It's nice that they're making an effort and obviously financial constraints make it challenging to have and maintain quality exhibits. If you've got young ones and nothing else to do, this would be a good 'time passer' that could fill the void. read more

I don't even know where to begin. Alot of empty exhibits, exhibits with animals so over grown you can't see them, sidewalks covered in bird poop so bad it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week. Patrons jumping fences to get next to monkeys and keepers taking 20 minutes to take care of the problem when informed. It is very apparent the staff does not care this year. Not worth the money to attend, save your money and go to a zoo that actually cares. read more

We stopped with our kids with pretty low expectations, but really enjoyed our time there. Prices have gone up since the last review on here. 2017 prices are $4 per adult (12 and up), 2-11 is $3. It was fun. The zookeepers were so kind and interactive. We loved playing at the park afterwards. What a cool park! read more

A fun little zoo. Mostly birds but still very interesting. We had fun, even in the rain.

More than what you would expect from a small community Zoo. The price was cheap, the animals were active and very visible. The park is fully shaded with full grown trees. I was not happy with the way the zoo was I remember as a kid it was the coolest place there ever was but now it coast me and my family 20 dollars to get in and really if I wanted to see rabbits I would go play with my own and goats really I have those too I will not be going back ever again my kids didn't even enjoy it they are 10 and 8 sorry but that's how I feel read more
