BUYER BEWARE Sales person lied about condition of car. Cherry picked pictures and video to convince us of how it was in great condition and wanted to ship the car to us. We decided to plan a trip since we lived out of state to trailer the car back to our home state( several thousands in cost) upon arrival the sales person continued to play dumb about all the issues I was pointing out and wouldn't budge a inch on the asking price. Offered to include a warranty( huge red flag) car needed a lot of work and was a oil slick underneath. I'm glad we didn't ship the car! Long story short: the guy is a scammer/liar. I wanted to believe that Zubes wasn't just another USED car lot... I really did. I wanted to believe that they chose quality vehicles, thoroughly inspected and repaired if needed... Unfortunately, in the 6 months that we've owned our 2008 Toyota Sienna, it's been nothing but trouble. 3 WEEKS after we bought it the alternator went out, nearly leaving us stranded in the 110 Las Vegas heat. New Alternator (and battery) was just under $1k... Then we recently took it in for service at our local Toyota dealership to find out it has a leaking power steering line and the struts and rack and pinion are completely shot. We got a high estimate from the dealership of $3k... Took it into a repair shop for a second opinion and they confirmed everything the dealership found and gave us a quote of $2k for everything. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Zubes. They're just another crummy used car lot. read more

Went to the lot to look at the selection. I had just totaled my trusty Toyota Tacoma. I had been looking all over for one to replace it with the insurance $. So I went here after someone in the barber shop mentioned that they only sold Toyotas that they pre-certify. When I got there I was greeted on the lot. There was no pressure and I looked at what they had. I asked about a Toyota Tacoma and there was one on the lot. It was quite a bit older than mine but in good shape. I left to think about it. It sold right before I made it back two days later. So they got my email and updated me with new arrivals. About two weeks later Pat called to say they had just got one that they were servicing. The price was right and it was in perfect condition. Now about a month later I am still very pleased with the overall experience so I decided to write a review. OK I can't say enough good things about this guy and his business. I purchased a 2005 Toyota Tacoma from him. He detailed it out very nice for me also paid stereo because the one it had would not eject the CD. I am also able to go down to the tire store where he purchased the tires and have my tires rotated no charge. Can't say enough about the experience I've had with Pat at Zube's Import. He was very honest and knowledgeable with any and all that has to do with Tacomas and 4Runners in my dealings with him. Contrary to what most people think, I believe Zube's prices are fair considering Tacomas/4Runners are continually among some of the most sought after used vehicles on the market, not to mention have some of the highest resale values of any make/model/vehicle type. If you're in the market for a used Tacoma, you should already know that the ones in good condition won't be cheap. These aren't disposable like the domestic equivalent piles!!! I am very happy with my Tacoma and to me it's worth paying what I did just to ensure I got exactly what I wanted---clean title, well-maintained, fully serviced by Pat. I bought a 2005 Toyota Tundra with 95000 miles on it back in February of this year(2017). The truck looked clean and like it was taken care of. I bought the truck for 18,500. The owner told me he had just changed the brakes and a few other things. He told me it was as good as if it was Toyota certified and did not need to buy a extended warranty. So I didn't. With in the first month both head lights went out. I was able to get one light to work after changing bulb. The other light still does not work. During the same time I noticed the truck shaking when I came down questa grade. I took the truck back and he said it sounded like something with the brakes. So I took it to my mechanic 2 months later , as the shaking continued to get worse. He told me I needed new brakes and rotors. 300$ And informed me the shaking is because both shocks are blown out. I paid for the brakes even though he told me he just changed them. Which was a lie! But asked him to go haves with me on the shocks. He refused and told me I should of bought the warranty. I will never buy nor recommend him to anyone. The truck has continued to have problems. I was ripped off! I should of listened to my wife and bank. They both told me the truck was over priced. read more
