Came during the middle of the week. The employees were having some conspiracy theory conversation and cussing a bunch. Once I went to check out the girl behind the cashier continued to talk to the other employees and not have small chat or ask if I needed help finding anything. The store forces customer to sign up for an account even if you have a receipt, before they can do a return. The lady processed my refund said it is the store policy.....store policy for customer to give out personal info....? I then called other 3 locations around town, none of them has such a "store policy." I know employees are getting these info as part of their job performance, but to lie about it?!? What are we teaching our kids these days. SMH. read more

I've came to this location a couple of times within the last couple of months and The poor customer service definitely needs some attention. I am never greeted when I walk in, the staff is usually tasking and avoiding eye contact, and on top of that the staff have poor knowledge in terms of what products they sell. For an example, I asked for "boss dog" merchandise...and the employee tilted his head and said they do not sell that brand, of which then..I found the section myself. I won't be returning to this particular location. I don't judge a location based off one bad experience but since I've experienced multiple hiccups with this location, I found it appropriate to leave my review. read more

I hate giving bad reviews because i feel like a prick, but today i walked in to this store after some years of not having stepped foot inside. I walked in with my friend to browse a little see what was new. The two people working there could with out a doubt be the worse representation of good customer service. Dang even eh customer service. That was the problem we walked in and they didn't even acknowledge that we were in the store. I get not trying to be pushy but they literally didn't look at us, they continued their conversation like no one was there. No hello, or welcome, or lett me know if u need help, nothing.We made it to the skateboards and just left crossing between the girl and the guy still talking no bye or thank u. I guess the part thats annoying is being ignored flat out in ur face and made to feel extremely unwelcome. read more

Literally THE WORST customer service ever! One person working register while other three stand around. Kid working tonight has walked around complaining about being sober for the first time on 14 days strait, complained about his pizza he ate and complained about everything and anything. There is literally 9 ppl in line with ONE person on register. The vibe in here is so un-welcoming & uncomfortable. I DO NOT want to listen to the whiney worker any longer and can not wait to check out! I will NEVER EVER come back to this location. read more

My son insisted I review this place with 4 stars, since he is too young to have a Yelp account. We went in today and he tried on lots of different things. We got help a guy who's name was D, I think. He was super personable and helpful, my son liked him a lot. He walked around the store getting the right sizes for things my son was trying on, and also picking some stuff out himself. He spent a good 20 minutes helping us. The other staff members were making an effort to be social with the customers which I think is important. It is on the pricey side but we only bought two shirts and two pants so it wasn't too bad. I'm sure we'll be back. read more

Stopped in the shop to grab a few shirts. They have a great selection with plenty of different brands to cater to any style you're looking for. Go in and ask for D, very cool guy and his knowledge of the product in store was very impressive. Ended up leaving with two items because they were having a buy one get one half off sale. read more

First off, Zumiez is way too over-priced. But I guess that can't really be helped since they carry brands like Obey and Diamond Supply. Their sales aren't bad, but it's mostly on the products by Zumiez or lesser known brands. Anyways, the reason why I have give this store such a low rating is because of the customer service. The kids that run this store have no respect, no manners, and its extremely irritating. I've been working in customer service myself for a few years now, and I know how easy it is to fake a smile and say a simple "please" and "thank you". Really guys? Stop hiring a bunch of stoners that can't help you with anything and when you finally ask them to they're rude as hell. The guy checking me out literally said nothing to me expect when he grunted "Receipt in bag?", and then proceeded to throw it in anyways before I could even answer. It's ridiculous that this store can't find decent people to run it. Won't be coming here again until there are some more professional people employed. read more

I went to Zumiez today because I really like their hoodies and Thrasher merch, there is this one girl that is always there when I go, she is very helpful but I don't know her name sadly. Today there was another lady there and she is the reason for my bad review. I bought an Obey hoodie from Zumiez a while ago, I really like it and the lady that was always there was helpful as always, and I by chance had it in my backpack when I went to Parkway Plaza/Zumiez. I walked pas it on the shelf and decided to tell my friend I had the same hoodie and I told her I had it with me. I took it out of my backpack (not the smartest move) and showed it to my friend and then put it back. No one came up to me, none of the employees called me out. I walked around the store for at least 15-25 minutes, debating if I should buy slides or a hoodie or another board. I was going to ask to try on the slides but when I passed the register, lady #2 stopped me and said, "Your bag looks fuller than it did when you came into the store." With a look that said "dirty kid, trying to steal from me?? Not today HUNNY! And the problem with this statement is that she was in the back when I came into the store so she did not see my pre-Zumiez bag. I responded, "What?" - "Are you sure that you don't have any of our products in there?" - "I have a sweater that I bought about a month ago here." I was so confused and scared because I am a 12 year old even though I get mistaken for a teen/adult because I am 5'5-5'6 and my mom wasn't there. - "Would you mind opening your bag and showing me that there are no tags?" She said all of her words like she was a higher power, like she owned me - "Okay?" By now she looked nervous because I was so willing to show her my bag. I set my backpack on the floor and took out the sweater. - "It looks worn." DID I ASK YOUR OPINION?! I had paint stains on it because I really like painting and she GRABBED the sweater out of my hands and started looking down the back, looking up the sleeves, and turning it inside out to find the tag. She handed it back to me without a word, without saying sorry or "My bad" or anything to acknowledge that she had just falsely accused me of stealing a $70 dollar sweater that I had bought. I was so embarrassed and I don't think I will be visiting Zumiez anytime soon because, 1st of all, everything is overpriced, 2nd of all, there is only one nice employee, so you might be screwed. read more
