They have a small selection helmets and knee pads, wrist guards and elbow pads sets. I couldn't find a sizing chart and ended up buying a set that was too small. If they don't have a particular item, they will happily order it for you and have it delivered to your house...within the week. Am I allowed to give negative or zero stars??.. because this place does not Deserve to exist as a community business. I am a hard working Union worker with this message.. Boycott Zumies and Spencers in Vacaville! I spent $300 there, then they called the cops saying I had stolen something as stupid as a shirt, or a hat! Yet when They searched me, and my car, they found absolutely nothing. My wife had stayed in the store to make it a second purchase for items for myself, and I walked out to wait in the car to tend to the dog as she went to pay. And met the entire Vacaville police force out in the parking lot. Research me my vehicle, my wife, the perimeter, or while having myself and my wife in handcuffs. They found absolutely nothing other than the items that my wife had purchased legally. I expected for them to admit their mistake, which possibly would've made the situation better, but instead they Gave no apology and told the police that we were not allowed to come back even to discuss the matter or we will be charged for trespassing. They were 100% in the wrong and since they don't think that there should be sorry then I'm gonna make sure that we're about to be because I would not want any thing like that anyone else. Especially with the business that can't admit their mistake after obviously been wrong. I had gone to enjoy the day signing the local union books and shopping with the wife, and instead spent the afternoon in handcuffs, being harassed and interrogated after making legal purchases in their store, being kind and friendly to the employees and causing no problems. Obviously this had a big impact on me. If I would go this far out of my way to inform the general public of what happened. Since they took six hours out of my day yesterday to have any state of my rights and dignity, I'm gonna spend the next six days trying to strip them on any of their business revenue or customers. Anyone that would listen, realize and understand what a terrible experience that has been doing absolutely nothing wrong and being treated like a criminal then being screwed out the back door instead of being addressed and apologize to you. The customer service has been horrible in the past and i've taken a mental note of that. Based on my visit yesterday, it definitely looks like it's gotten a lot better! I always head straight to the clearance racks and have no shame. I am a fan of their outerwear selection! Nothing all up in your face though, just the simple hoodies, jackets, hats, and beanies. I purchased a hoodie and pullover and had a good experience. Upon walking in to shop on 08/17 I couldn't help but notice how hot it was while I was looking at the shoe wall! I honestly love zumiez and shopping there but being in there for barely 5 minutes upon entry and feeling the temp around 87 degrees is just crazy to me let alone having there workers in that situation also especially in that heat INDOORS! I'm not a huge fan on Zumiez but I do check them out every now and then when I'm at the mall or during the winter when I'm looking for a good snowboard package deal. I stopped into this location over the weekend to check out their snowboards (after all they are twice the size of any other Zumiez)- they didn't have any. What Zumiez doesn't have snowboards, bindings and boots during the snow season?!?! This one! There was one display of snowboarding related items- wax, scrapers, stomp pads, socks... but no boards! I can't say much about the apparel or other merchandise since I don't really usually shop for other stuff at Zumiez. It looked like there were a lot of items on sale and they even had some swim trunks left over from summer. We were greeted as we entered and exited the store. First time actually coming here and the employee's are awesome! Was looking around for boxers and a snow jacket. Fell in love with the Empyre brand jacket and fell along with my style. I was also looking at shoes, Nike and or Vans. I'm always all about Vans but I need to try something New and wanted to look at comfortable shoes such as Nike's. Saw one that got my attention, wanted to buy it but like a snow jacket, it's really pricey. So I just decided I'll get it next time. I'm from Hawaii so I'll be going to see snow here in Cali! I am kind of conflicted about this review. I've never used yelp to write a bad review but my family and I left Zumiez very disappointed today. We bought a complete skateboard for our son from here and he road it for less than half an hour before stress cracks appeared near the trucks. Perhaps we shouldn't have continued to use it but we paid $90 and didn't think it would crack in half during the first hour of use. Well it did. It took us a while to get back to Zumiez (admittedly two months) because we are very busy with our kids and our business. Anyways, we call them and explain what happened and they said as long as we could prove that there wasn't much use on the board and that we purchased it from there then they would replace it. It was a defective board. They were going to contact the manufacturer and they would be compensated so replacing our board wouldn't cost them anything. So we happily made the trip back into Zumiez only to be told by Sara that we waited too long and there was nothing they could do. We disagree. There was hardly any wear on the board so no matter how long we waited to contact them, it was clearly defective. Very disappointing after we were told they would replace it for free. It truly pains me to write this review but I can't help but want to warn people. read more

I've never encountered a Zumiez like this one. I know, Zumiez tends to be not the best at merchandising (floor space is usually crammed) but you just deal with it and I usually find something I wanna buy nine times out of ten. The Vacaville location was ridiculous. Although it was the biggest Zumiez I've been to, everything about it was wrong. I walk in the girl doesn't even say hi. After a few seconds she asks what I'm looking for. I say, "Oh everything, just browsing". Then she says, "Are you looking for anything in particular?" I said, "No, just looking" She says," Oh, so you're not looking for anything particular (in a stuck up/attitude tone)?" I said, "No." She says, "Alright then...." I attempt to look around but the racks are not organized at all, non-sale with sale items, etc. I ask if there are any shoes on sale and she points to regular price shoes and says,"They're with the regular priced shoes over there" and points where they are (with a "Duh. You didn't know that already?" look on her face). I work in retail and would never treat a customer like the way she treated me. I felt like she didn't even want me in the store, let alone her working there herself. Will never be coming back here. Again. read more

I only had one interaction with an employee that asked if I needed finding help anything and that was when me and my friend walked in. Other than that the atmosphere was kind of bland for me. Selection was nice as always though as every Zumies is and they also had a good selection of local urban brands. Other than that, I am very dissatisfied from the customer and sales associate interaction which totally just killed the vibe and made me disinterested at this particular Zumiez. On top of that I'd expect a lot more deals considering it is located in the Vacaville Outlet Plaza. The deals are just like any other Zumiez. read more

This outlet store in Vacaville is WAY better than the store in Folsom. The manager on duty was very patient when trying to find a certain shoe for me. I did enjoy her knowledge of what items were on sale and her customer service skills were excellent. I also notice that this location had a greater variety than Folsom...major plus for this store. This store is great. Lucca, the manager, was super helpful. He tried his best to find the correct pair of jeans for me that were the fit that I like. He and another employee helped me for about 15 minutes and they tried everything.
