Decent Base Camp Near Downtown Kingman We had a pleasant experience at this RV park, even though we had to cut our stay short due to a change in plans. The office staff was polite and very helpful--they made the check-in process quick and smooth, and they were understanding and efficient when helping us get a refund for our unused nights. The park offers full hookups and has plenty of space for both pull-thru and back-in parking. However, the sites are unpaved and not completely level, which made setting up our camper and sewer hookup a bit tricky. There are a few trees for partial shade, but you'll definitely want to use your awning. Be prepared for some dust and sand--bringing a good door mat is highly recommended! We weren't able to test the Wi-Fi as it was down during our visit. On the plus side, the park has clean restrooms and a laundry room, as well as a pool and a propane filling station. We didn't use the pool because it was a bit chilly and not heated. It's also located right off the main road with only a wrought iron fence for separation, which didn't offer much privacy. There appeared to be a number of long-term guests, many with elaborate setups like smokers and canopies, giving the place a lived-in, community vibe. The atmosphere felt family-friendly and safe, with folks enjoying themselves into the evening hours. The location is convenient--just a few miles from downtown Kingman. It's bike-friendly, with flat terrain and easy access via back roads. Downtown Kingman is charming, full of niche antique shops, great restaurants, bars, and even an awesome record store. You're also just down the street from essentials like a supermarket, Walmart, and AutoZone. In the end, the price was fair, the location solid, and the vibes reasonable. It's not paradise, but it's a good place to set up camp while you explore the quirks of Kingman. We'd recommend it to fellow travelers, dusty boots and all. read more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was right with our Passport America discount. They have a pool that we used which was a bit cool, but very refreshing and not crowded. There are clean restrooms with showers and a laundry area. There are plenty of garbage dumpsters around. It would be nice to have a more dedicated dog walk area (other than dirt patch next to heavily traveled access roadway). The park seems to have several longer-term residents that have set up quite a bit of stuff around their RV's. Permanent dog pens with dogs left outside made it a bit difficult to walk around with a dog without stirring everyone up. The location is in the industrial area of town and it is challenging to walk to nearby food or shopping. read more

Natalie is always a doll when she checks us in. We stay here whenever we're visiting Kingman. Nice property with super clean restrooms, laundry room and when it's warm enough the pool is a huge bonus! Sites are mostly big pull throughs, all with full hookups and nice mature trees for some shade. Ours was wide enough for our RV plus my truck and cargo trailer to fit side-by-side. You can't do that in most RV campgrounds! Turns are plenty wide enough for large rigs, so no worries there. It feels very safe and secure at this property, which can be an issue at other campgrounds in Kingman. The management does a great job and we always feel welcome at our home on the road! The full-timers are all pretty cool too. One nice lady in the back sells beautiful plants and mini cactuses at her spot. If you're getting your kicks on Route 66 in Kingman, this is a great place to stay! read more

Stayed overnight and would not return. The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground felt very crowded with long term residents with a lot of clutter. I feel the price was overpriced for the way the campground appeared. I've stayed at many campgrounds where the long term campers have to keep their rigs clean and their surrounding site free of clutter. I also was dissatisfied with the trees that blocked our satellite. The staff told me it wouldn't be a problem but it was and wasn't able to use it. So make a note, if you need satellite this is not the place to camp. We camped in the rear area and the dirt/gravel was not level for our rv. I feel 3 stars was being generous. read more

High marks for management's good-humored service. Delayed on the road, we called ahead to check on availability, and Verna explained that she had three unreserved spaces , so we could come in after hours and use any of them; there would be a dropbox for cash or credit card payments available when the office opened at 9am. This is a small park with mostly seasonal residents and is neat and quiet. It was easy to access off the freeway, even in the dark. Nightly spaces were all pull-through. There is a small but very clean swimming pool and a laundromat and bathrooms near the office. Propane available. Many restaurants, stores nearby. Our rate was $43.90 with full hook-ups and AAA discount of 10%. read more

My late mother Beth, who sadly passed earlier this month, was a tenant at this park. Despite the sad circumstances of my visit to Zuni Park, I found both the park & it's staff (& tenants) very warm & welcoming. It appears to be well-kept by staff & tenants alike. Several neighbors stopped by to check on me & give their heartfelt condolences...to include an adorable orange kitty named Jinger. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stop by, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone who needs a place to camp. read more

Zuni is a simple RV Park with a very accommodating staff. Not strict and has full hook ups with a modest rate. My family and friends stumbled upon Zuni when we were in route from Grand Canyon West to Page AZ. read more

Pride In Ownership We stayed just one night, but wouldn't have minded staying more. This is simple campground in an industrial area but they have kept the place clean and neat. The bathrooms, showers and laundry are well maintained. The site are all gravel, but very level, wider than what you would expect, have shade trees, and, again, are well maintained. There are long-term/permanent people, but there are plenty of sites for everyone else. And the permanent sites show show pride of ownership. Lot 60 was drunk and belligerent at around 12:30AM to 01:15. waking up like this after a long days drive makes for a very miserable morning. She was yelling(call 911 I'm locked out and he won't let me in) and banging on the door nonstop. Police showed up at around 12:45 and things calmed down until 2:30 when we started hearing doors slam shut and more yelling. If this is normal or not it should not be permitted especially when it's long term guest. We don't plan on staying here again if this is what we are to expect. read more

Very nice place. Quiet. Off the freeway but still close. The only complaint would be we were in the back section of the park and the showers were all the way to the front. But other than that...good prices very nice lady at the front desk...ultimately can't complain. read more

It was clean, sites were level and everything worked, except the Internet. I was able to piggy back off nearby network but only because we carry a booster. Would have been nicer if the Passport America discount was valid for longer but in all was a good quiet park and would stay again if in the Kingman area. read more

This was a quick stopover one night. The bathrooms had combo locks on them so I couldn't use it when I rolled in at 9pm. That always drives me a little nuts but I understand why some places have to do this. I was able to get in the next day and they were clean. The place was pretty noisy because of the train that goes thru and the proximity to the airport. They do have a pretty large park and I think there are a lot of residents. They drove thru all night and morning. The desk people were nice and honest about charging me only for partial services since I came in late. I didn't even ask for that. read more

This is the first time to this RV Park but it will not be our last time the manager,Verma and Kevin you are super nice the first night that we stayed we didn't like this part so well they told us no problem if you find another one let us know we found one just down from us and they said go ahead and move into that one there is no cheese involved in it it's just a very smooth transaction no high pressure on anything and I'm glad they're are a passport America partnership now everything in this RV park is very clean the office the laundry room the Little Rec area the pool area and if you had a kids they have a play area or an adult area too when you first check in it's like u r friends already just can't say enough about this place we only spent two nights and they were a very pleasant tonight no loud noise no more parties even the traffic on the road you could not really hear in the laundry room they have a little snack machine in the office they have a few RV items but they are very few the internet was pretty good in the evening when less people were using it but like anything else the more people using it the slower than Network and the cable TV that was very good if you have your own hotspot it wouldn't be a bad idea to use it if you can and the people staying in the RV Park are very friendly it like Rv'er are a breed of Their Own I forgot one of the tools that I need it and I asked him the RV or here and you said sure I got one and he let me use it when I was done I brought it back home it's like snowing no one steals at this park or any RV Park we were going to stay at Williams Sunday night and head back to Phoenix on Monday morning but after looking up the rates and Williams compared to here we decided to spend another night here go to Williams Monday morning Monday afternoon head back to Phoenix Arizona read more

Nice RV park. We stayed 5 days and really enjoyed. Spaces are very large and level with at least one tree. Short term have no cable TV, but is no big deal being as you get several channels on your antenna. The biggest negative is the wi-fi. Not really usable. Showers were nice, being as they are larger than normal with good shower heads and pressure. You have to keep pushing the handle which lets the water run for about 20 seconds, but is no big inconvenience. The staff a very friendly and helpful. The sign in the office says no dogs over 20 lbs. I saw a couple in the long term lot which would go 70 or 80 lbs. Do not think they are really that picky. read more
