Their beer bread is actually pretty tasty - it's kinda sweet and soft with a crunchy crust. But, our entrees were quite unappetizing and not good. My shrimp were pale and covered in a weird cream sauce with mushrooms and tomatoes. The grits were stiff with hardly any flavor. I had some shrimp shells on my plate too. My husband's Gumbo was just as sad. It looked like cafeteria food. His okra was soggy and flavorless and the rice was so over cooked. 4 stars??? Absolutely not!!! The only redeeming factor was the good service and friendly staff.

We got a coke and a Veil Brewing Co. IPA to drink. The Veil is one of the best brewing companies on the East Coast and not easy to find outside of Richmond, VA.
