Unfortunately I have to leave this review for Zuta. I had a technician come out to diagnose a problem with a Kitchen Aid gas stove. The oven was not igniting correctly but the burners worked. I did a lot of research on-line and had an idea of what it might be. When the technician arrived the oven appeared to be working for him, which was not uncommon as the problem was sporatic. He did not try to diagnose anything further, he did remove the door, but did not inspect the ignitors which ultimately was what the problem was. He left and I called a different company who came out and found the problem very quickly. It was a bent ignitor that was the issue and caused the gas to not be close enough to the spark to consistently light the oven. Had this technician just removed the bottom part of the oven, he probably would have seen the issue. BTW, this is an issue that was documented on-line, I even found it myself after investigating my issue. My recommendation would be to make sure your technicians listen to the customer, I realize that sometimes it's difficult when you can't recreate the problem, but in this case, he didn't even try to diagnose it, which is not acceptable. Zuta was the only appliance repair company that actually answered their phone. The others went to answering machines and didn't call me back even with their posted response time of 40 minutes. What business can survive if you have a posted response time. One company's soonest appointment was just over a week out. Zuta not only answered the phone but was very professional in scheduling my appointment 2 days out. I received a text from the repairman he was on his way, on time and as promised, in the first few minutes of the 2 hour time window. The repair was performed timely and the charge was very fair. If for some reason further related repairs are needed, the original labor charge would be applied. He was happy to service and replace parts on my old trusty whirlpool stacked unit. No push to buy new and did the job promptly and happily drained my machine even tho it could of waited until the parts got here a couple days later. The office called to confirm the second visit to replace the parts and Octavio arrived and did the job before I knew it I was asking all kinds of rando washer questions. Our 32 year old dacor range was down to 1 working burner. It's an odd size and we are a few years away from a kitchen remodel so we wanted to fix it instead of replacing. I contacted several different companies and was having a hard time finding someone who would work on it. So I ordered new ignitors to fix it myself and quickly ended up over my head. Eventually I found Zuta and they were willing to work on it. I dealt with the dispatcher Abby and the tech Alex who were great . Alex came out and quickly realized that I had the wrong parts. He ordered the correct parts which were here in a few days and spent hours fighting with a stuck but not easily replaced burner before finally getting it off, replacing the broken part and installing the ignitors I purchased as well, all for the labor price I was originally quoted. I have a Bosch dishwasher and the code showed clogged drain. The technician came and agreed the drain was clogged and would need to be flushed. The estimate he gave me was $285. I looked suprised and he said he could give me a discount for $265. He came in with a small mini vac to unclog the drain. The procedure took less than 15 minutes. I questioned the charge and he said he could give me a discount for $245. After he left I noticed white dried soap on the floor by the dishwasher. I opened the cupboard under the sink to get a sponge and realized he had shoved the items out of his way to work and left them in a mess. I have used service repairmen for 40+ years. $245 for 14 minutes or work was excessive. And not bothering to clean up the job or leave the cabinet in the original order was very unprofessional. My 12 year old Bosch dryer was making strange noises so I called Bosch service. The technician did a quick diagnosis and told me I probably had a worn drive belt but unfortunately Bosch no longer carries the drive belt because the dryer was more than 10 years old. His advice: get a new dryer. I called Zuta and they suggested I check Ebay for the belt. I found it easily and scheduled a service call with them. Got a quick response, Otavio arrived the next day, did a complete check out, found a worn belt with shavings fallen into the pulley, replaced the belt and I'm back in business. Our washing machine stopped working and flashed an error message. Zuta was very responsive and set up an appointment very quickly. Otavio came out on time, and also looked at the dishwasher and dryer. He gave an honest assessment about what he could fix (dryer and dishwasher) and what would cost as much to fix as to buy new. (The washer). He then ordered the parts, and set up the appointment just after the weekend. Our dryer stopped heating up so I called Zuta. Booked an appointment for 2 days later and Raphel showed up at the start of the 2-hour window. That was nice...no waiting around! He quickly located the problem and happened to have the right part with him. He had the dryer working in just a few minutes. He also confirmed what I believed...that the 15 year-old KitchenAid we bought used for $100 will probably keep doing its job for years to come.
