Linda did the flowers for my wedding a while back, and they were amazing. They looked like they jumped right out of the pages of Martha Stewart. She was very helpful and listened to what I wanted. I had hoped to have gardenias because they were my late mother's favorite flower, and since they weren't really in season it wouldn't work, but when I went to my place at the head table, there was a lovely gardenia and the note, "In memory of your mother." I couldn't believe how sweet it was. Linda also had an emergency the day before the wedding, hurt herself, and still managed to get the flowers done and delivered on time. Linda Snyder (Zuzu's Petals) catered my daughter's bat mitzvah brunch and dinner yesterday. She does both flowers and food, and is very easy to work with. Our oneg and party were everything we asked for, and more. She is very creative, and took our ideas and flew with them. For example: We wanted a bowl with a goldfish on each party table, and she put 3 or 4 fish in each bowl, put colored stones in the bottom, and put special lights UNDER the bowls to light the fish throughout the party. We adore Linda at Zuzu Petals! Everything from the bouquets to center pieces, to boutonnieres, were perfect at our wedding, thanks to Linda. She also got us a runner and set up her beautiful Chupah for us. I used Zuzu's Petals for my wedding. The whole experience was fabulous. Linda Snyder, the principal of Zuzu's Petals, is smart as well as a terrific designer and is willing to take on a lot more than centerpieces and bouquets (not to minimize her wizardry with those.) In my case, I wanted more than an arch over the ceremony, and Linda found the perfect wire gazebo which she decked out with green, twining things punctuated by the most amazing dark red peonies, red lilies and Persian jasmine. She and her husband also built a plywood floor for the Persian carpet I used in the "aisle" of the outdoor setting. I suspect Linda would take on any structural challenge and execute it beautifully. That said, if "all" you want are traditional centerpieces, bouquets etc., Linda's extra effort to procure gorgeous and unusual flowers, combined with her artistry in using them, produced extraordinary results. All the guests raved about the flowers. Our photographer said she had never seen such beautiful floral work, even at much pricier weddings. We relied on flowers as the major decorative element, and Linda turned the setting into an elegant, opulent extravagance. I can't recommend her highly enough! read more

Zuzu's Petals did the flowers for my daughter's bat mitzvah yesterday and they were absolutely fantastic. We discussed the color scheme and I sent her a picture of my daughter's invitation, which had an embossed flower, and then just left it in her hands. As promised, she created gorgeous arrangements in beautiful vases that captured the color and feel of the event perfectly (including flowers that reflected the invitation). She also created some spectacular large arrangements for the bima and buffet tables. In addition, she was extremely helpful transporting the arrangements to the evening event.
