Priced reasonably for the quality. This bouquet cost $56 with tip considering the quality and it was entirely custom I was happy to pay that amount. You shouldn't come here if you want cheap flowers, but if you want beautifully wrapped flowers that make someone feel special. I typically get flowers delivered and arrange them myself but this was a special occasion. My only area for improvement was that for the price point, I didn't get many flowers in the bouquet. She said she did not know. I was surprised, since I usually prefer Colombian long stem roses, and asked if it's possibly from Colombia? She then said, "I just told you, I don't know. Do you want to buy the flower or not" and rolled her eyes dramatically. I was shocked, I have never received such service in a flower boutique. I came in excited to have a bouquet and left very upset at the disrespectful helper. If you want to work here, maybe learn a little about what you sell and a thing or two about customer service. For my Cal graduation, my friend bought me a bouquet from them and I received two more bouquets on 2 separation occasions. All three times I would be stunned by their arrangements. My boyfriend mentioned exceptionally that their service is always amazing - he once came in 2 minutes before closing and they still so graciously and kindly helped him. They ask for your budget, the colors you would like, how many of each flowers you would like, and as they place them in an arrangement..they check in with you to see if you like them! :) They really care about what they do and the smiles they can provide with their flower arrangements. This is my favorite flower shop. I live nearby and have been coming here for 6 years. They have the most dreamiest flowers. Of course they were the first place I thought of for my elopement. I spoke to Suzanne a month or so prior to the date which we agreed to meet a week before since the flowers selection would be more accurate from the choices of August to September. Even in August as I was picking and dreaming of my dream bouquet I ended up switching a lot by mid September and despite not using the original colors I was thinking of Suzanne was able to execute my new vision and make it even better than I could have imagined. I was able to pick up my flowers Sunday since they are closed Mondays, we decided to risk it and hope for the best (I also was being stubborn and didn't want to go to another flower shop). We kept the flowers, boutonnière, and corsages in the fridge and traveled to SF City Hall Monday and I kept them on ice that day! They all survived the trips and various changes of temperature. Obviously, I think the boutonnière and corsages you don't want to risk it like me, they are more sensitive and by Tues night were slowly falling apart, but they made it through the morning and ceremony on Tues!! As for my beautiful bouquet they stayed strong and true! After our ceremony at SF city hall we drove to Big Sur to do our Elopement photoshoot and that was broken into two days! My flowers survived for those days too! I was pretty impressed! As for the price, I went over my budget, but it was worth the money for the artistry and how well they kept up for all our shenanigans. read more

I've been getting bouquets from Wisteria for the past ~10 years of living in the East Bay, and have to say they're now my top choice for flowers. They've gotten better over time, and I love their great selection of seasonal flowers. Their floral designers are great and if you give them the context in which you are getting the flowers, they provide thoughtful suggestions for color themes and will consider the seriousness/playfulness of different flowers. They've often asked how far I'm traveling with the bouquet or when I'll be giving the flowers, and advise if different blooms won't last well or will be more high maintenance than others. Most days, I now just let the staff know what occasion the flowers are for, give them a budget, and ask them to pick the flowers they think are best. I regularly stop by to get bouquets for birthdays or as a pick-me-up for my friends and family, and Wisteria never disappoints. Attaching some photos from my visit a few days ago. If you're new to the area, I recommend parking in the Safeway rooftop lot right across the street. You can stay for at least 1 hour without trouble. I should've just went to Safeway across the street. Actually, if I wasn't in a hurry.....farmer's market is best. I will never shop at this establishment again. Disappointing. I enjoy shopping small and supporting local businesses. When my mom and I walked by, she wanted to gift me peonies. They were $12.50 per stem, which is outrageous. That's four if not five times the price anywhere else. I left grateful for the two my mom gifted me and hopeful that they would bloom beautifully. I am now sorely disappointed. They never bloomed (I have never had this issue before) and continued to brown as the week went by. I had high hopes because flowers from local flower shops or farmers market have always fared far better than stores like TJ. I'll be sticking to the farmers markets from now on. read more

The first time we came in we bought a house plant and the lady was very helpful! My second experience is not the same. I just went in to get a bundle of flowers for my sisters belated birthday. I explained the reasons I liked the different bunches and wasn't super fond of the colors. She never asked to help me out with a new bouquet or get me what I wanted. I absolutely loved my bouquet I purchased here! We walked by while visiting Berkeley several weekends back and these fresh beautiful orange and cherry roses caught my eye. I wanted them. I wanted them bad. I ended up picking a couple out (at $3 a pop it was well worth it) and a couple of the cream roses (which I actually regretted later as they didn't give much scent compared to the cherries) and the wonderfully friendly and warm attendant (who bless her was braving the cold and light rain) created a artful masterpiece of a bouquet for me. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was just for me and I'd be unwrapping it a few hours later. But the final piece was just breathtaking and the lavender bow was the cherry ;D on top! First of all: Absolutely beautiful store with a wonderfully curated assortment of plants and flowers. However their business sense and organization isn't developed yet. General - They never seem to know about the plants! I'm not looking for the scientific name, but general care instructions for the stuff they are currently selling would be nice. - There have been a few times where I've stopped in and waited at the counter for a while to check out while they staff, who definitely could see me, just went about their business for 5-10 minutes completely unaware I was waiting for one of them to check me out. - Finally one time I was checking out and the staff checking out the person in front of me charged her double for her bouquet. Neither noticed (the customer was talking with her friend and just handed over her card) until I said something. The person checking her out has been there for a while so she definitely knew how to use the machine. Wedding - We used them for our wedding (three bouquets four boutonnieres) and there were some issues. - I stopped in during a non busy time to ask for a rough quote and their availability, they said to send them email. I did. No response. Followed up with another email a week later. No response. Stopped back in again a week later (again during a not busy time) and asked if they had gotten my email. They said they would get back to me, took a week. None of this was deal breaker, just got the sense they weren't quite organized. - A week before the wedding I stopped by and dropped off the ribbon for the bouquets and confirmed they had me on the schedule. The day before the wedding I had my sister stop in and confirm, and they had completely forgotten! - In the end the flowers were lovely, but you go with them definitely confirm, then confirm again, and then have your assertive sister confirm once more! read more
