I was first introduced to Dr. Greenthumbs' dispensary about a year ago. I must say that I was and still am highly impressed with the environment. The staff, managers, and security guards are exceptional. Their customer service and attentiveness to shoppers is phenomenal. There are so many cannabis experts and coniseurs on staff to assist shoppers in finding the best medicine for patients and those whom use marijuana for recreational purposes. The dispensary is big and supplies a variety of marijuana edibles, flower, concentrates, etc. As much as I like the shop, I do find SOME of the merchandise and products to be overpriced. Although there are deals and SALES daily, some products are still too overpriced. The eighths of cannabis I purchased did heal my medical ailments of back/neck pain, stress, etc. I felt God's presence so strong from the last eighth I had from there. It was indica, and I used it for my daily meditation as usual. I do not remember the brand, but recall how close I felt with God. Thank you for providing healing to the people. On the real I want sylmar back up and running again because of my first impression of this location. I came in last night for the first time to this location and customer service was crap. The only individuals that were welcoming and cordial were the 2 security guards on duty and the receptionist that checked us in. I was being referred by my lady so it was my first time. Customer service a negative 5 for me. I understand we came in at like 30 minuets till closing but you guys are still open. I understand that you want to go home and it may have been a long night but push through. I'm not upset just turned off by the demeanor of 2 individuals last night. The gentleman who checked me out wearing a red beanie with black writing on it. The other was a girl who was wearing gray sweats. Like I said I was referred so I was in line waiting to pay and There was someone behind me. They were closing so this lady budtender called out for next patient and I started to move towards her and she waved me off and said not you. I proceeded to let her know that I was next and she kind of just mumbled yeah but he is in line. So I told her so am I. Then she gestured and said you're being helped over there. Since my lady referred me and was first time patient, she was paying for her items and I was paying g for mine because we both received 20% off. I didn't get out of pocket, I didn't get all Karen like I was like alright coo coo. Sorry Pasadena greenthumb, but you got nothing on greenthumb in sylmar and that's facts! Cuz this was my first experience here and you guys failed. On the real it's sucks because like I mentioned the guards and the receptionist were on point and had me like YEAH YEAH LET ME SEE WHat I want. In the end you rise as a team and fall as a team. Bought three items (two flowers and one edible). No problems with the floor but the Peanut Butter Cookies from "Original Pot Co" were duds/factory rejects. I called to find out if the edibles could be exchanged for something but was unable to get customer service to respond. I emailed the address provided and was told to call. Put on hold for 20 minutes. I waited because I thought maybe they're busy Covid yada yada. We can get good quality products anywhere so I'm not inclined to return to a place Doesn't have a policy in place for this scenario. Sure they don't make the products but they make the profit and they need to address Yeah when occasional defect products come off the conveyor belt. That's the risk they assume as a business. So I go to other places that are more willing to work with that to retain customers. Also, I specifically asked to NOT create a "points account" but it was done so without out my permission. I thought the info I provided was needed for some security measure, people coming in and out, but after verbally expressing to the human infront of me to not enroll me in the program, I received a text five minutes later welcoming me to the program. Adequate parking and easily located it's well worth a visit if you're from out of town because the selection of all products is impressive to say the least. I've honestly never had poor service here, and they have a great selection of products ranging from flower, concentrates, vapes, pre-rolls, etc. Had one situation where I bought a Stiiizy pen and it turned to out to be defective. I called the dispensary and explained the situation. They told me to bring it in and they'd switch it out no problem that same day (I did still have my receipt.) They even threw in a few pre-rolls for the inconvenience. The customer service is better then you get at some retail stores! Yes, it does get busy at times but I think the product makes it worth it and there's a high chance of finding parking in the lot or literally around the corner. read more

I drove about 3 miles to a place called "high note" and saved literally 40 bucks on an 8th, got weed with higher THC percentage. This is because dr green thumb charges mostly gram prices, even in bulk. Like that asshole you bought from back in high school. To the owners of this place: you're trashy business people. Don't go there! Crappy service. Really disappointed with Dr. Greenthumb location in Lincoln Heights. I called at 9:30pm last night to see if they were open due to the curfews affecting LA some days ago. I was told that the last patient was taken at 9:55pm. My drive there was 15 minutes from Alhambra. I arrived at 9:51pm and I was told by security and the guys at the front that they were closed. I told them that I had called prior to coming and they checked with someone in the reception area. We were turned away again. I called and shared that I was told the last patient was taken at 9:55pm. The girl put me on hold to check and shared that the last patient is actually taken at 9:50pm. I began to share that it was not cool how I made it to a point to call prior to coming and was turned away. The receptionist hung up on me mid sentence. I plan on taking my business elsewhere and that there are issues that obviously need to be rectified in how the operations are run at that location with providing accurate information to patients and training on customer service skills. read more

I've ordered several times from dr. Greenthumb. On the phone they're great and warm but severely mischarged me and got my order wrong and it took me 30 minutes of explanation to get the refund. My bigger issue is the staff is not wearing masks or is only wearing them over their mouth and not the nose. It is critical to ensure safety of your staff and customers and they are not. No social distancing rules were in place either and people brushed right past me without masks to order. read more

For the 2x that I came to visit I did not experience a long wait in line to get inside nor to check out.The staff are friendly. They have a good amount of variety from cannabis products to clothing which I wanted to purchase a tee shirt as a souvenir since I am from Nor Cal, but I did not find any worth buying (to my liking). They're a big dispensary with a wide selection, like many other people's comments say their Bud tenders don't know anything about the weed they're selling. I went in and asked can I get an indica cartridge that will help me get to sleep, you know like the Celestial Sleepy Time Tea of weed, I'm an insomniac. The Bud Tender just brings the most expensive indica in the shop, I looked it up on their site after I left, she really didn't help, she just said these are good. I pulled in on a Thursday night and there was a guy just outside the gate filming the cars that were entering the lot. There were two more filming the exit gate. I parked, and he'd relocated to right behind my car, but still on the other side of the gate, still filming. I asked what was up and he continued to film without answering me, so I asked security who was standing right there what the deal was and he told me not to worry about it, to just go inside. I didn't feel comfortable and pressed further, telling him I thought it was really rude that the guy filming didn't even answer me, and security guy just kept telling me to go on inside. I decided to leave, and the guy filming started calling me a b**ch, telling his livestream or whatever that "this guy is leaving, f**ing b**ch," and then the other two guys with cameras made sure to film me as I drove out. WTF??? No one saw fit to even explain what was happening, then this punk with the camera is allowed to insult a customer? Former customer...never setting foot here again. read more

They keep selling old batches, I got a concentrate that was about to expire in a week! They don't take card just cash! They somehow feel like they don't need to give you your .80 cent change. So they're keeping everyones money because they " have no coins" so even after people pay exact change they still don't have " coins" to give to the next person. The largest dispensary has no coins even after most people pay the exact change in coins. So its okay to keep practically a dollar from everyone???????? read more

Honestly an extremely terrible establishment. I barely moved to LA a few weeks ago and it was my first time being at this dispensary at first the hospitality was extremely nice until it came down to the money. The lady at the counter was trying to talk me down to confuse me on the amount i needed to pay in which i gave her 70$ dollars in which it was only 32 the change i received was 11$ instead of the exact that was supposed to be given back. I left and didn't notice until i got in the car and when i went back inside she started lying about the amount tended. She soon goes to go get a assistant manager who says they will call me back after the footage was reviewed in which they didn't. Highly do not recommend coming to this place. Very bad experience and wouldn't want anyone else to have to get scammed like I did. Since it's cash tendering they can get away with it and they charge 6% for you to use your card. That's the reason why i was using cash in the first place. I hope the money you got to keep was worth it for the bad review, super nice store front but i mean if you gotta steak from your customers goes to show how cheap your employees and the establishment is, not even the homeless would do something like that. read more
