I'm a bit late on this review because I've been moving, but I wanted to give a big "thumbs up" to the folks of 1-800-GOT-JUNK, especially Steven and Justin. I had a lot of old furniture and...yes, junk...that I didn't care to haul to my new home, so decided to give these guys a call. First off, let me say that I lived in a house with an extremely narrow driveway and am amazed that Steven managed to navigate the truck through it without incident! I gave the guys a tour of everything I wanted removed and was prepared for an astronomical quote based on the volume of "junk" I had but was pleasantly surprised with the price I was given. What a bargain! As for the "junk", I had it in the house and under the house and was sure it was going to take Steven and Justin at least an hour to make it disappear, but they made short work of it and were in and out of my home in no time at all! Steven and Justin were both extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Best of all, I didn't have to lift a finger, except to point to the "junk." I can't say enough good things about the two guys that they sent out to collect a bunch of rubble, debris, rubbish and trash left from the last two storms!!! Tyler and Tyrone were the most amazing men! They were so friendly, polite, kind and extremely professional even after getting stung they handled it so well We did a lot of pricing to figure out the best way to get rid of all of this cause it was a lot and priced it a whole bunch of different ways . This price that they quoted us was way less than what I would've paid to rent a truck and a trailer and all the dump fees. Plus the time and the labor that it would've taken us and not having the expertise to know what to do with everything. Anyways, I think they were all wonderful and I will definitely use them again! I was here from Nashville visiting friends when all the storm happen and trying to help clean up. My contractor in Nashville area I've never used this company before, but I definitely will look them up on my construction sites when we do demo moving forward! Just moved into a condo and had a mountain of renovation junk to get rid of, including seven giant floor-to-ceiling mirrors that had no business being anywhere outside of a Zumba studio. I was in desperate need of getting rid of some big items since I am set to move in a few weeks. Having no friends with trucks and myself a tiny vehicle, I was left with the despair that I would have to break down those items and discard of it myself. Luckily for me, I saw one of their parked trucks. On the day of my pick up, Mike courteously gave me a call in advance. Sometimes I get a little uneasy when I have the cable guys or plumbers coming over. Some will hardly talk to you or seem like they do not want to be there but Mike was absolutely wonderful. We struck up a conversation and what seemed like a matter of minutes, all the items I wanted to get rid of was out. Mike was personable and efficient. I recommend using their services. Booking this service was frictionless. They were easy to book and confirm, just the next day after I inquired. I had Mason and Nui come and remove my junk and they were friendly, accommodating and professional! As a single woman, dealing with services like this can be intimidating but they were exceptional and put me right at easy! Initially they quoted me above what I had budgeted to spend. I let them know what my budget was and they were understanding and very clearly communicated what they'd leave behind to match my budget. Thomas and Napua were very professional, efficient and friendly. Clearly very hard workers with a positive attitude. The 2 of them hauled away so much junk for our office! They did a walk through upon arrival, we pointed out all the furniture, bulky items, electronic waste and miscellaneous junk that we wanted removed, an estimate was provided which we were satisfied with and they proceeded with the removal. Today I had to move a couple items. I didn't think it would be a big deal. I looked on yahoo and google and found about 10 options all together. Honestly it was a pain. None of the company's answered or if so all the did was put me on a automated server and if I didn't know what number to punch it would start me over. I started making calls at 11am. It was 2pm when I found 1-800-GOT-JUNK? on yelp. At 215pm they came and by 230 everything was done.
