They did my state vehicle inspection. Super kind when booking my appointment and while onsite. Saw the same with other customers.

Needed a simple inspection, was told I needed roughly 3 grand worth of work done. Sure, whatever. The problem arises when I find out they charge me for their own shoddy workmanship in tearing apart an ABS harness that was perfectly fine. Again, whatever, I need my car and I'm held hostage by the shop so I approve the work. Well now there's continuing electrical issues with my car directly relating to the technicians bad crimp job on the harness they replaced and made me pay for. So I have to bring the car back to get fixed, do not get a courtesy vehicle, and get talked down the whole time I'm there. Come like 3 days after I finally get my car back I found two giant lugs left in my wiper area, cracking the inside of the plastic. I attemped to call twice, texted them probably about four times but still no answer. They respond quickly to a google review though! read more

Stay far away from Milbert's Car Care. It's unfortunate that businesses accuse their customers of lying! More specifically, Milberts's Car Care's unprofessional way of accepting responsibility for mishandling my car. My review, in addition to many others, should be means for others to stay far away. It's unfortunate that the new owners carry the name of former owner, who would never call customers liars. After several attempts to address the cut AC line, Ian refused to address the simple question of how did my condenser end up in the trunk of my car? It was only after taking my vehicle to the dealer did I find out that the AC line had been cut, which resulted in a hefty out of pocket charge. A charge that should be covered by Milberts since they wrongly cut the line to remove my condenser. A job that does not require mechanics to cut the line in order to remove the condenser. After reading the numerous other complaints, I am seeing the outrageous charges customers are billed. Then when customers question, he calls them liars! In my case, he even accused the dealership of sabotaging my car to put blame on him! I'm disgusted in these reviews and hope that others look elsewhere for any repairs and pay close attention to unnecessary charges to cover the mishandling and up charges of your vehicle. read more

I called a week before to get an appointment the guy on the phone said 10 AM Tuesday that's today. I told the guy on the phone I would have to wait for it. I go in today and I am told they do not do appointments and I am not in the system. He goes and talks to someone in the back and starts writing my order. Then tells me if I need to wait I will have to wait outside in 90 degree heat. Mind you no one is wearing a mask there. Sorry this is the worst service I ever had. We've been using Milbert's for all our family cars ever since we moved into the area about 15 years ago. They are ethical in all their dealings, and never try to talk us into work we don't need. We know we always can count on Rick and his crew to have our cars ready when they say they will. Rick always calls us in advance to tell us what he plans to do and how much it will cost. I took my car here 3 times over the past 3 years for an inspection they gave me no trouble fixed a few minor things and charged me a reasonable price for what was done. I thought cool i finally found a good/reliable mechanic. This past year i took the same vehicle back for an inspection. Keep in mind only 11 1/2 months had passed since they told me everything on the car was good. They told me i was going to need pay over $1,000 for a new exhaust, and almost $2,000 for suspension work that needed done before the car could pass inspection. Needless to say i was shocked, and more than willing to take it somewhere else to get another opinion. Ended up taking it to another shop in town that is owned and operated by one guy. He replaced the front brakes and rotors. And suggested i take it to a muffler shop to get the exhaust fixed. At the end of the day i paid a grand total of $500. And have had no issues in the past 6 months. Ill never take a vehicle to Milberts again. read more

Our mechanic for the past 15 years is no longer business, so we thought we'd give this place a try. Don't ever take your vehicle here. Didn't want to pass state inspection because they thought my windshield wipers were leaving streaks. Funny, cause I replaced them 3 months prior to the inspection. Not sure they even turned them on because there were ZERO streaks when I picked up my car and tested them. Even took pictures to prove it Trying to make an extra dollar because nothing else was wrong. Shameful. Not a way to reel in new customers. read more

This is the best car service and repair shop I have come across since I started driving too many years ago. Another franchised service shop had quoted over $2,000 to replace the front shocks and repair my 12 year old Toyota V8 4 Runner suspension after previously failing to put on rear shocks properly! The high end hydraulic X-Reas suspension/stabilization system is almost impossible to repair or add to. Frank and Rick Milbert researched the problem, replaced front and rear shocks/struts with high end parts and bypassed the troublesome X-Reas system.
