Posting for my husband's experience today. As a Fleet member through his company, received two recalls from Ford. Dropped off vehicle this morning for recalls x2. Upon lack of communication, my husband called the service department for an update. He was told it would need to be kept another night for completion of new tires, oil change, filters etc. NONE of these services were communicated to my husband or the person within his company who approves Fleet services. Initially my husband was told that Fleet was contacted for approval of the services, however Fleet is not the payer, my husband's employer leases the vehicles through Enterprise and therefore is the payer. We wouldn't be frustrated or even making this review, but the ignorance and condescending attitude and tone of the service manager, Sam Barkley, has us in awe. We are aware of others who have had the same experience with this specific employee, but chose to continue to give this location the business as we have never, until today, had a bad experience ourselves. Better communication with the payer for the service was all that was requested before they were completed. Needless to say, having someone with poor customer services skills, such as Sam, as a service manager, may need re consideration. His reputation precedes him and now that we, and my husband's company with multiple Enterprise Fleet vehicles, has experienced it, we will no longer be seeking service at this Cochran location. I would rate zero stars for the service manager, but it's not an option. This review will be cross posted on various other sites. read more

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Cochran in Natrona Heights and would not recommend them. They took my vehicle and repeatedly gave me return dates, only to push them back again and again. What was supposed to be a short repair turned into an entire month without my car. When I finally got it back, less than a week later it stopped working and had to be towed back. Given that they already had my vehicle for a month, you would think they would make this situation a high priority. Instead, I was told they can't even run a diagnostic until next week and refused to provide a rental car. My request to be treated as a priority because of the prior delay was denied. There was zero concern about how I'm supposed to get to work. On top of that, I noticed damage that was never fixed after having my car for a month. The molding on the side of my door was coming off, and I had to push it back on myself. This has been a huge inconvenience from start to finish, with poor communication, repeated delays, and no accountability. Do yourself a favor and do not take your car here. read more

On Monday,6/16/25 I scheduled in home service for an. inspection and oil change (basically the WORKS package) on the internet site for Cochran. 4 days later I haven't had any communication from anyone. I requested service for 6/20. Maybe someone should read your internet requests. This isn't the first time. Tried to schedule service at the garage last year and it never got scheduled. I took my car that I barely drive for inspection to Ford Cochran in Natrona Heights. I work from home, no check engine light and my car is running fine. I noticed someone else that came 30 mins after me got waited on before me. He was addressed by name and got a hand shake was given information face to face what his vehicle needed. When I was approached, my name was not mentioned did not get a hand shake and was given information in passing and he left. He did not have the decency to face me to make sure I understood what he was telling me. I sat and waited for a total of 1 1/2 only me and another customer. I got up and asked about my vehicle. I was told my inspection failed for needing lower control arm for a cost $400. I did not believe it because i hardly drive my car. His response was well you know how PA roads are, I told him I did not hit any pot holes. I researched on Google and found out more about the lower control arm. I told them that I am taking my car elsewhere then they kept saying that they are failing it. My husband took it to C Harper in New Alexandria today and car passed inspection with no issues. I recently bought a used car from cochran in Natrona Heights. We had a young salesman named Jaicob Mammay. We first thought he was young and would not be much help. Boy were we wrong! He was excellent. He was knowledgable about the car and about the who buying process.He made the experience very pleasant. Plus I love my new car.! We took our 2016 Mazda CX-5 in to have some insurance repairs done on the under carriage of the car. We dropped the car off on Monday, mid-morning. They had Enterprise rent a car meet us at the shop with a rental, a new 2023 Nissan Rogue. We were told to expect the repairs to take a week because of how busy they were. We got a call at 3 pm on Wednesday that the car was finished. Not only did they finish quickly, they detailed the car and let us drop the rental off there for Enterprise to pick it back up. We would highly recommend this shop to anyone. read more

So I got a follow up call after my last poor service review. Have to admit, they tried to make it right. Took the car back, refunded my money, and tested it again. They still couldn't find the reason for the leak. They did, HOWEVER, claim to find a serious problem with my transmission that was going to lead to really bad expensive problems if I didn't address it now. HOWEVER, it would cost me $900 for the complete diagnosis as they had to tear it apart to get inside it to find the exact problem. I'd have to pay that out of pocket. They said though that since the car was still under warranty, after they submitted the claim, the $900 would be covered by the rest of the warranty repairs for the problem. Didn't have an opening on their schedule for three weeks though. So I took the appointment and asked for a written diagnosis of their findings so I could start a paper trail for the warranty provider. 3 weeks pass, and I get nothing. No return calls either. Drop the car off for the appointment, but had to pick it up again due to an emergency. Pick up the keys and actually talk to a person and ask for a write up of the need for the repairs. The guy could find NOTHING on the computer about the need for transmission work. Told him I needed SOMETHING in print to be able to show the warranty provider the need for the work. He took my name and number and said he'd get back to me after the weekend. Well, that was 3 weeks ago now and still no phone call, nothing. Funny how they can't find the actual problem, but can say I'll need extensive expensive transmission repairs. And yet still not put it officially on any kind of record. Even their own. I wouldn't trust the Natrona Heights service department to change my oil. Tried scamming me to make their money back on their failed work by inventing a new problem. You've been warned. read more

Dropped my car off for recalls. It had broken down and I had it towed to Cochran. My appointment was for a Friday, the first they had open, and the act was dropped off on Tuesday. They had it all done the day before my appointment was even scheduled! Great work, no charge to me, and fabulous service. read more

Took my 2018 F-150 Lariat in for inspection and oil Change. They called and informed me there were issues I was unaware off. Oil pan was dripping oil, 4 wheel drive wasn't working properly and the timing chain was making noise. Major repairs were made under the power train warranty in a more than timely fashion. She provided me with a loaner car as my repair was going to take more than a few days. She called me each and every day with updates on the progress being done with my car and always kept me up to date on the costs associated with the repair. I took my Ford Ecosport that I purchased from #1 Cochran in Natrona Height, PA to replace a headlamp. The sales advisor was very professional during the entire time I was there. While sitting in their waiting room at least four Cochran people said "hi" and asked how I was and if there was anything they could help me with. At this point, I think I've attempted to have my vehicle serviced at this location about 7 or 8 Times. I've been able to have it serviced about three of those times. Once was for a vehicle recall issue and twice for oil changes. When I am able to have service, it's completed within a reasonable amount of time and the representatives are generally polite. Let me start this off by also making very clear that I do understand that businesses have peak periods and that a walk in service can have different wait times based on the business flow- I'm ok with this. What I am not ok with is the constant confusion about making an appointment and handling my fleet account. When I walk in without an appointment I'm made to feel like I should have made an appointment and that I should know better than to just walk in and that my business is an inconvenience because they're busy today. When I call to make an appointment, I have to almost argue with the person on the other end about getting an appointment set up. They tell me I don't need an appointment for an oil change, and I have to insist on setting one. The process is incredibly aggravating. Handling my fleet account also is an issue. I present my packet with my keys and explain what I need PRIOR to service. When they return, I have to explain at the desk that it's a fleet account and I should not have charges as they're handled by the company. At this point they have to make several copies of my packet- and take down information that've had since I handed over my keys. The location is very convenient for me, but at this point the inconvenience of being turned away from a walk in service, struggling to make an appointment for a walk in service I was turned away from, and the difficulty of handling my fleet account far outweighs the inconvenience of driving a little further to a competitor who can accommodate my business. read more

#1 Cochran in Natrona Heights leaves much to be desired. Ok I'm not one to complain, however I'm really dissipointed by the level of service I've received from #1 Cochran in Natron Heights. About 7 months ago I purchased a high-end 2017 Ford Explorer Sport. I didn't not purchase it from them, but Ford assured me that they can do all my service work. That has been true, but my car has been given back to me in worse condition then when I dropped it off. Shortly after I got my car I realized that the front center vents were defective. Cochran replaced the vents, but in doing so they damaged the center speaker on the dashboard. They were also undergoing new construction at that same time. So when I got my car back I noticed the damage to the speaker and my drivers side floor was covered in MUD. I'm not kidding. Then didn't even try to clean it up. After bring it to their attention. They replaced the speaker cover and completely detailed my car. However I was without my car for another day. The did give me a loan that time. You see Cochran doesn't give loaner cars they only provide a shuttle service. So to my current complaint today. One of the lines in my rear window defroster stopped working. The fix required for my car to be keep over night. Remember NO loaner. So when I got in my car tonight I noticed the entire back window is covered in finger prints. REALLY. I was so mad that I stopped at Shultz Ford in Harmerville immediately leaving Cochran to ask the what their Customer Service police is. You know they do a Courtesy Clean. Which means they clean the entire outside of the car every time its there. They also provide New Loaner cars. Three times I have given #1 Cochran a chance, and three times they have let me down. I will never go back, and you should think twice also. read more

I ended up not buying here because of bad timing and life events, but I have to say I was very pleasantly pleased by my experience. I went in looking at a new Focus ST that was at another dealership (and far away), and my sales person worked very hard to get the numbers for the deal exactly how I wanted. They didn't give me BS about my trade, the number was right in line with what I expected. When it came to price they worked to get me every available discount and heavily discounted the car. The sales people were not pushy and were great to work with. I actually really enjoyed this specific dealership because you'll get more personal service and spend less time going back and forth from your salesperson, to the finance person, to the manager. It's a small place but still has a good selection. I think if you're considering a Ford, this is a much better place to buy than Day (which I and friends have had issues with). I also recommend Woltz and Wind. read more

I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am that #1 Cochran Ford will inspect my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek for me( with advance notice). I am thrilled to be able to have this service performed locally rather than spend hours more getting to and from Monroeville. The staff members are helpful, professional, and have great senses of humor. They were patient and helpful to me while I registered my expired vehicle and never made me feel unprepared(though I always am!!). Upon entering the building the service manager acted like he never did business with me before - I was kinda surprised he acted like this- he didn't know what I was doing or that he hasn't done business with me in the past. (I had a issue with the door being broke last time I had it in for repair - that is a whole different issue - only time Kevin got my car for me after an oil change - turns out the door was broke - perhaps that is why he went and retrieve my car for me so I wouldn't be able see the door was broke) I finally received a call in the late after noon (2:!4pm) after my 8:00 AM 75,000 mile maintenance appointment. They initially said they didn't see any issues with my main problem that I complained about - loud muffler, but my car could use a new starter. So I agreed to the starter and then the following day I received a call that they finally figured out I had an exhaust leak and parts would need to be ordered and the should be in that day or the following day (Saturday) I got a call Saturday that they weren't in. fine. Monday comes - and I didn't hear anything from Cochran. I decided to call 2:46PM to see why my car has been there for so long (this is day #5) they then told me they would need to make modifcations to the part to fit my vehicle - I was not ok with this as it sounded not in good practice. I was not told before hand of the correct option - the best way to fix is with a ford part that costs 1,300$. I Was told they were getting their parts thru advance auto and taking them to a welder for welding? I take my car to COCHRAN because I would hope and believe they have best experience with my type of car - that is not the case. Kevin tried to make right with the pricing as best as he could but overall this was another bad experience at the dealership. My husband and I purchased a Jeep Wrangler on Monday and by Friday I realized that there was an issue with the heater. Called my guy Chuck and he took me right away and had a rental car ready to go with no wait at all. The jeep had a recall and was fixed in no time. Even though the recall should have been caught before putting the vehicle on the lot the service and overall dealership experience has been very good so far. I had a minor door scratch that needed painted. The experience with Body by Cochran was top-notch from beginning to end. They had a rental car company on-site that made the drop-off seamless. The scratch was repaired to the point of looking as if it never happened. When I picked up my car a couple of days later, it was detailed down to the car mats and carpet. We have had some ongoing issues w/ my daughter's car related to recall issues. Cochran has been doing the work and been great about addressing the issues and keeping us up to date on what needed to be done. The Service Department staff are courteous, pleasant and helpful. Rob and the Service Manager went out of their way to help us address the final issue w/ the car when Ford Motor Company would not help. If the Sales Department is anything like the Service Department, I will be looking for my next vehicle at #1 Cochran in Natrona Heights. My husband is actually going to be in the market for a new F150 soon so they'll likely be seeing us. read more

Took my vehicle to Cochran in Zelie for repair. They took my car to Natrona Heights without telling me. They drove my car there when I was told I should not drive it because of the damage. They did a good job in repairing the parts, but they were not clean (someone had dirty hands when working on the inside of my car) and someone damaged my car while at their business. If I did not point out the damage, they would not have said anything. When I saw the damage they owned up to it and repaired it. They seem to return vehicles that are half done and hope you don't notice it. They need an employee to review their work and tell them what needs to be done before returning the car, like a customer service manager. read more

Free lifetime inspection-I needed tires, they were patient with me while I called other places and priced everything to see what was the best deal. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This place is seriously a joke. I am not one to complain or to write a bad review but the experience I had with them is worth taking the time to write one. I hit a deer and this establishment is an authorized repair shop through nationwide. I go to school out of state so I thought I'll just get my car repaired here and not worry about taking it to my normal repair shop. What a mistake!!! I took my car here on October 27 and I still have not received my vehicle on December 1st! An entire month to fix the front of my car I was told it was only cosmetic damage it's not like they had to do extensive work on any other part of my vehicle. My projected completion date was November 16th. Then he called and pushed it back again and again and again. The girl who answers the phone always had an attitude and seems completely incompetent too. I called my service guy and asked if I'd need to get a rent a car for thanksgiving break. He assured me it would be ready by Tuesday and I won't need to get one. Then he called and said Wednesday. I called on Friday and they told me it would be ready by the end of the day. After not hearing from anyone I called around 4 and the reception girl told me it's not going to be ready. The set back was them ordering the wrong part NUMEROUS times or not ordering the parts needed to put it together. Finally this Monday I was told it would be ready by 5. SURPRISE I got a call shortly after saying that my car was not ready. I am blown away that nationwide has them as an authorized repair shop because the level of professionalism here is severely lacking. So if you want to get your car repaired in a timely fashion you'd be smart to look elsewhere for a better more professional place of business. read more

#1Cochran was most efficient when taking my car in for an oil change. The whole dealership is very friendly and polite. Only complaint is that I wished they would have washed my car along with the oil change! A lot of other places do this also as a complimentary. read more
