After reading the review here on yelp Tuesday after work I decided to stop in and see Filandia…read more When I got there she was so busy, I made an appointment to come back Thursday. *Remember to bring cash ladies, she doesn't take any other method of payment* When I came in, she sat down with me and asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. Telling her I'm 100% natural & prefer to wear it curly. I hadn't had my hair cut in at least a year and a half, an I have a thin spot right in the front of my head. Filandia was so sweet, she looked at my hair and was like okay no problem. After washing and conditioning me, she took her time blowing my hair straight, but not with a lot of heat. An when she went to trim my hair she showed me how much I NEEDED to take off, an I asked here to take a little more off. She told me taking off additional will help my thinning spot b/c there will be less weight on my hair follicles. She did recommend to keep my hair one length because I wear my hair curly, which I appreciated. So after my cut she took the flat iron on low to my edges to help my fly aways lay down. I'm so glad I found Ms. Filandia, I will be back in 2 months for another trim.

She asked me what I wanted which was to have my natural hair color back. She went straight to work and applied the dye. She did a good job applying it but wasn't as neat since some dye went on top of my eyelid and both of my arms. Nonetheless, she was still good in detail! When it was time to get shampooed she gave me a head and neck massage! Omg it was amazing, she really did spend time pampering me. She applied what felt like a minty ointment on my scalp and it was so refreshing! Afterwards, she spent time to apply Biolace and Matrix products on my hair prior to blow drying and curling. And all for $65 without tip, not bad!! My hair had been colored red twice so I know it can be difficult to color it back to my natural hair color but she did phenomenal. Some strands are still brown but you can hardly tell at all, it actually gives it some dimension! From the looks of it, all the employees spend a great deal of time to pamper you and make sure you get what you want. Everyone that left felt very satisfied with their hair!
