First time, last time. Called to inquire if they do men's haircuts. Told yes but need appointment. Given same day appointment time with Christina a couple hours later. Husband shows for appointment and he has to wait over 1/2 an hour after scheduled time. Experience was awful. Whatever instrument she used on back of neck caused injury. He came home with cuts in his neck and several days later we are still treating injury and redness in three separate areas. Not to mention the haircut was horrible. Couldn't cut straight line, I needed to fix it and it doesn't even look like he had a real haircut. His haircut is not complicated where any qualified person could do it. I have long curly hair and having to schedule a haircut can be traumatizing. Let's just say I haven't had the best experiences in the past. I am so glad I booked an appointment at Inspire Salon. I was greeted by the friendly staff and was immediately taken back to the shampoo area. The lady who washed my hair was awesome. She made sure my hair was clean (washed it several times since I had product) and also did a mini-scalp massage. Michelle then gave me her recommendations on what to do with my hair length. I've been coming to this place for years! They recently came under new owners, and the original owner no longer cuts hair here, but the new owners are great! The people here are personable, and they do a great job of cutting hair. I can only speak from the guy side, but I enjoy this place and make it a great experience. Guy haircuts run for $10, so it's a little pricier than things run in Chinatown..but no biggie. read more

This was my third visit here, the first time I went your owner cut my hair and highlighted it beautifully I was very happy.she did the Brazilian blowout as well all together $125.00' second time I went for highlights and another blowout which this time I brought my own Brazilian blowout product so it would be cheaper and she let her helpers do my blowout they both did not speak English so they couldn't understand my concerns with them both pulling my hair from both sides of my head,I had to tell them to both stop working on my hair and asked for the owner to finish. The highlights were the wrong color not the one I asked for and they used half of my product and made my hair so oily.I was very displeased.third time which was today figured I'd give them one last try. Just asked for a deep conditioner and a pedicure. The conditioner did nothing and when I asked for them to fix it and that it had not works the owner told me that I need to get something more like the Brazilian Blowout or split and conditioner for my hair to be soft.which I did not understand why you would have me pay for a deep conditioner that was not going to work my hair was so tangled I was very upset.the woman doing my pedicure did not do a very good job she didn't even do the exfoliant that you would get anywhere else or the massage she wanted me to pay an extra $15 on top of the $20 to get a pedicure that you could get anywhere else definitely will not be going back. read more

After a horrible experience with getting color and cut from a "mall" salon, I almost had given up. I took a chance with a salon 5 minutes from my house. Michelle is fabulous and did a great job with my fine, frizzy hair. The highlights, cut and overall service was amazing. Price was even a big surprise.
